GEARS OF WAR 1, Part 2!?

The Hype Surrounding Gears of War 2 was at critical levels leading up to November 7th. While I’ll be the first one to admit that the first game was Hella fun, especially in co-op with a friend, I must confess I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t seem as if there were too many new features – but for some reason, against my better nature I ignored this fact and pushed on.

The Graphics are there, the Fun Factor is there but the Story and Lack of New Features were staring back at me – tempting me to get angry with the game. To me it looked as if Gears of War 2 was pretty much the same game. Sure it expands on the cool back story but where are the cool new features? Oh sure they added a new multiplayer mode called the Horde – but honestly I was expecting more (like Full 4-player co-operative through the entire single player campaign). Oh well it sold a trillon copies anyway, but I hope that doesn’t tell Epic Games they don’t have to include bad ass new features in future installments. Another time maybe, when I get around to doing a full review of it – for now though lets talk about the weeks leading up to the game.

Eve wonder why AngryJoe sometimes doesnt seem too Angry? Well its because of games like this. Graphics can go along way to make a game particularly impressive (and cover up some shortcomings here and there_ no where is this a better example than in Gears of War 2 – its so impressive it led me to produce our first Episoce of the HappyJoeShow, all 14 seconds of its Glory.

Spanish Novelas – Maria, Porque?
Wait, Dom is looking for his wife for half the game? What the heck is this stuff? This is the first thing that popped into my head – Cliffy B. must be a hardcore fan of the Great Comedian Pablo Francisco and every Spanish TV Novela, because this pulls out a page from Novelas 101. Maria is having an Affair with a Locust. Haha. Sorry to Ruin the Ending for ya guys! Here it is again, only done 1000x Better, by my personal buddy Pablo:

The Lancer, Meet the Luncher! Yea sure the Lancer might be able to cut your opponents in half – tearing them to shreds but can you have a starburst dessert after your done?! FUCK NO. Didnt think so! BITCH. I’d take my Luncher over a Lancer any day – Sorry. And dont even get me started on the AM/FM Bazooka (which really exist by the way – lie) or the Pepper Chucks. 3 Words: Slowmo-Pepper-Action!
