(Old School) Fable 2 Top Reasons Parody – KICK ASS version

Here’s Part 2 of the Fable 2 Top Reasons Video. In this one we look at all the Reasons the game will do well. In this one we tried putting more effort into our parodies of each point. Also its this video were I wore my now famous Red and Black Superman Shirt – The All important and Powerful Jacket would come later…

We really hit on something with this video because this has been the most popular Top Reasons Video we’ve done so far. Its got everything, First I Dance like an idiot through the entire video, I cry over my dog who passed away (*sniff*) vowing that I will name my ingame dog after her. I think this video did well because along side the parodies we made effort to offer real explanations of unique features people might not have known about.

One particular parody though takes some background of internet video culture to understand, and thats the “Letter to my Sister” Parody when Tons0Fun shoots me after getting intensely bored and annoyed with watching me play single player RPG’s. This parody is based on Saturday Night Lives “Letter to My Sister” skit done by the LonelyIsland Boys, its difficult to find a version on the internet (as is alot of SNL stuff – fucking dicks at NBC Universal) but here’s one link ive found:

Its the kinda nonsensical comedy that I love so much and its difficult to do right. Apparently this parody started from the Sitcom Drama the “OC” where some important character is shot – surprising everyone – they go into the long drawn out dramatic song and slow-mo sequence, haha. It was perfect for our Fable 2 parody. In our version Chris gets so friggin’; annoying with having to watch me play single player RPG’s over and over that he eventually outta no where kills me in anger.

Our version’s length was longer than what I could fit into the video so I made a Separate “Directors” Cut of the whole skit and made it its own video, you can see that one here and in our Internet Meme’s Section:

One of my favorites to this day, yea it doesnt make sense, but its not supposed to! Oh and if you were wondering the Song we used its name is “Hide and Seek” from Imogen Heap.
