(Old School) Fable 2 Top Reasons Parody – SUCKS ASS version

So the first game we tackled with the Top Reasons Parodies was Fable 2. Back then we had planned to make 2 videos for each Game. A “Reasons this game will SUCK” and a “Reasons this game will KICK ASS“. Eventually we just started doing one video as you see now, but It may be a good Idea to go back to this idea…Or we could incorporate more of this Negative stuff into the Waste It or Taste It Videos.

I will say people would jump down our throats when we posted these on various Fable forums – Fanboys would come through the woodwork to say how terrible our points were, but were they really? You decide…

The Video was in our early days (funny thats only a few months ago) so Im not in complete AngryJoe Gear, making it all that more odd to watch….Check it out:

I will say it was hella fun to BASH on a game that I liked or knew I would like. I felt a burden lifting off my shoulders when I started voicing my concerns about a game that we were all waiting for – and the response I got was beyond my expectations, its these two Fable Top Reasons Parody Videos that really made me believe in the power of the AngryJoeShow.

So now that you’ve seen it, lets go back and look at the points I made and check to see if any of my concerns were right about the game:

While Peter didn’t hype it as much as the First Fable, you can still see from the video he got a little carried away, but I wont fault him for it, because after all it is his baby and if hes not hyping it no one will.
Verdict: DRAW

If you used certain weapons and spells this straight up made the game BORING AS HELL and might be one of the reasons some people HATED Fable 2, because it was SO DAMN EASY. I actually had to FORCE myself to use CRAPPY SHIT and who the HELL in their right mind wants to do that?!?! And the only penalty for death is a scar or two and a loss of orbs? Devin could care less, he would just run and gun right through the baddies. There was no tension, suspense or fear of ANY of the games Enemies because of this FACT.
I was SO right here.
Verdict: ANGRYJOE WAS SO RIGHT IT HURTS

The game mains quest itself was too short in length, it didn’t seem as if there was as many towns and places as there was in Fable 1 but that’s just me. Luckily I spent enough time working for money, buying property and dying my clothes different colors that I spend quite a while in the game without completing the main quest. But still after I got done with all those distractions I played for a few hours more and got the ending credits, I was like WTF?!?? NOT AGAIN!
Verdict: ANGRYJOE WAS SO RIGHT IT HURTS

Regardless of which path you choose the story didn’t feel like it was genuinely taking your alignment into consideration. Oh sure people will say things about you every once in awhile but it just didn’t feel like there were two distinct paths to me – other than when you were obviously doing evil only missions or good only missions.
Verdict: ANGRYJOE WAS RIGHT

Eh, I guess it wasn’t THAT annoying like I thought it would be, but sometimes the DAMN thing wouldn’t show up on my screen or it could make up its FUCKING MIND! In the end the Fairytale Style didn’t annoying me at all so….
Verdict: ANGRYJOE WASN’T WRONG BECAUSE HES NEVER WRONG BUT HE WASN’T COMPLETELY RIGHT
