Fallout 3 Review
In the same vein as our Epic 2 Part Fable 3 NegaReview we did one more in that same format, this one was for Fallout 3 and followed the same style (focusing on the negative aspects of the game) regardless of how good the game was, Prepare to be Entertained. Check it out:
This was also the first time we introduced the AngryJoeShow Ladies – Emmers and Madison. They were VERY hesitant at first to participate in any kinda gaming parody video, but once we put it up on the net and you guys gave them all the positive comments they were damn near busting my door down to do more. So thank you all very much for giving them a “warm” welcome 
I hope this leads to us recruiting even more ladies, so as long as you guys are nice like you were to Emmers and Maddy.
I’m not sure if it was the Ladies but somehow we got distracted in this one and it was less of a traditional review and more of a discussion of the games aspects. That’s just the way this one turned out, deal with it.
Anyway, in the video we tackle both the Good and Bad in a Single Parody Video with a few fun skits:

Lying FOOLS at Bethesda say we get 200 Endings
When Developers Promise Us Epic features and don’t deliver I don’t think there’s anything that pisses me off more about the Game world. I wont stand for it and neither will the Famous Pokemon Kid!
For all the games faults though, Fallout 3 for me was one of the best games of the year (for Tons0Fun that’s another story). Fallout 3 doesn’t Top Oblivion but it’s definitely worth owning.

ok, fallout 3 is better than fable 2. no, no explanation, just FALLOUT 3 IS BETTER. the end
we want a review of oblivion! also, fallout 3 was better. in fallout 3 you get so many more choises of actions and customisation, the enemies and the items, armors and weapons were cooler…. i think fallout 3 beats fable 2 in every way

hey i didn’t see a Oblivion review thats a pretty awesome game and in the rpg world its my fav, so far..any ways i would rate it a 1000/10 just because you get a statue dedicated to you war machine etc. robin hood etc. i’ve got nothin for mages but that was also awesome so… ass burn ala my ass is on fire and some assholes parilyzing me wtf?!.. and not to mention Sheogorath watching and giving you the power to use wabba jack and piss some guys off continueing.. and the ashole made a deer a alligator and shit!

it’s summer break i need an awesome game to play all over again what do you think i’d play? Duh fallout3!i’ve played it over at least 7 times not to mention getting on just to admire the armor and just mess around at the citadel
oh and what where fallout 1 and 2 ?
how the f can people call it bad it was freakin awesome! the extra content was amazing the aliens expansion gives you a huge mission and several new weopons and not to mention the armor you get from the dead anchorage soldiers the generals uniform and samurai armor! You can also live there after a hugely awesome space battle. The point look out is also huge and when defending the house was awesome and gave new skills you where also given a new house with a little boy in a cave and activities you can do in the cave with the kid. also my fav a woman sells power armor! you also got a huge spy mission where you get to blow up a submarine! And if you want to you can do the mission “walking with spirits” and get a chunk of your brain lol. not to mention that you get weopons to repair the licoln rifle and a double barrel shot gun! When you do the “aiding the out cast mission you get awesome armor and not to mention a cache of outcast armor and an awesome ninja sword! I can’t recall how many death claws i killed with it! The railroad mission gives you a way to get 2 special power armors and hunt for ingots. It also allows you to break down ammo and special weopons. The main can be continued and you become a full fledged Brotherhood of Steel member! not to mention a tesla cannon hell fire armor and a controler for death claws. you alsso get to destroy a hugecompound that the bad guys reside in [i also had fun with blowing up helicorters and using the button that blows up the run ways] . you get to call in an air strike on it or somewhere else! the main gives you a good house you can upgrade in megaton or blow up megaton and live in a hotel not to mention countless other awesome things and side quests the only prob is the traveling. Who wouldn’t like it?!
also you get followers! [but they die easy cept the dog}

Fall 1 and 2 was Fallouts. Fallout 3 sucks, I cant play it.
To be honest this game is garbage. The only fun part was killing ‘Three Dog’ over and over again.
You let me down Bethesda.

i wasnt able to finish the main storyline becouse the surroundings were so depressing. so i played thru all the dlc and then sold the game. one of my friends love it and i cant understand him.
fable 2 kicks ass falout 3 SUCKS!!! you spend 90 % of the game wandering around looking at rocks and getting attacked by a 3 headed cow!!! in fable 2 you have excellent cenery and PEOPLE to interact with.
Fable 2 is alright. BUT NOTHING TOPS OBLIVION!
My cousin is more of a FPS person and likes Fallout 3 and New Vegas more than Oblivion and Fable.

Fable 2 certinly dominates fallout 3 !
Personally I loved Fallout 3, although I thought that some of the most interesting aspects of the story seemed really rushed, like the vault experiment. There should have been more focus and depth there while you discover what is going on. I’m also a bit overfed with the concept that the government, the overseers and corporations are always evil. This has been used to exhaustion and it is time for a new take on it i think. We have now reached the point where we are surprised when established organizations aren’t trying to stab you in the back.
I also would have liked a more involved storyline with the Brotherhood of Steel and the Rangers. It would have been nice if you could have joined and do missions for them.
Finally, the ending was rather dissapointing as I suppose we all agree.
Still, I really enjoyed playing the game and had a really good time with it. I think 8/10 is a fair rating. The game was really good but there could have and should have been more to make it an excellent title.

F3 needs at least a 9 if not a 9.5. Bethesda are pioneers of the open world game and are one of the few game developers that respect our (the player’s) imagination. The very first thing you see is a splash of blood and a blurry figure and you realize you were just born, literally. What happens from there is completely up to the player. If there is any drawback it is that the game is so…gray(which you notice right away when you boot up oblivion again).
If you haven’t figured it out, I’m a huge Bethesda fan, I’ve been a fan since Morrowind. This game studio is only about quality and putting forth epic games(how many GOTY awards have they one?). The best thing about this game is that it put Bethesda out there beyond just TES and more to the general public.
i agree but morrowind sucked ass it was one of the worst i’ve played the visuals were terrible the missions weren’t under stood a lot were the f is the cave how do you get there big etc…
If they think changeing those pictures in the end is considered a different ending than ok but I still think thats not really a different ending because those pictures are from side quests
okay, i’m sorry, i’m gonna fanboy rage ALL over this review, first of all when the Bethesda guy said “over 200 endings” he probably meant 200 endings on a story board, and when that guy said “i still play fable 2!” fable 2 is TERRIBLE in my opinion, on a side note: fable the lost chapters (aka fable 1) is a masterpiece and set the bar for action rpgs, fable 2 just got boring instantly, with the whole jobs thing… the story wasn’t as compelling, okay back to focus, fallout 3 is in my top 3 video games of all time up there with red dead redemption and ocarina of time, in fact i think fallout 3 i like BETTER than those games, after 2 years of owning this game i still play it, i redo the entire campaign as a girl, trying neutral karma, evil, good, to see what happens and how i can take advantage of certain things, and i’m guessing this is review was before the dlc (which probably makes this game 10 times more badass) and i have NO idea how you can say this game isn’t epic and doesn’t have an epic story, DID YOU PLAY THE ENDING?! even before the broken steel, *SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* in the end you’re having an ALL OUT WAR AGAINST THE ENCLAVE WITH A GIANT FUCKING ROBOT!!!! this game is without a doubt (until new vegas comes out) my favorite game to date
with out the expantions the game is just is not right so with out them it’s a 6/10 but with the expantions you can play a lot more advetures some of witch do happen befor the bomas so with the expos it is a 10/10 but only because they are makeing more of them with more features.
also joe i think i have a movie game title that deos not suck try Lord of the rings 2 battle for middle earth and try the expantions pack
I think Fallout 3′s biggest problem is that the map is way too big, they just didn’t use the whole map effectively. probably 80% of the map is not used for anything other than to look good. It’s a great game, but I’d give it a solid 7/10.
But even then, I was starting to think that I really wanted to try my hand at writing a novel. It took me a few years to sit down and actually start writing fiction. It took even longer to get it published.
Fallout 3 i denfinantly 9/10, its still better than RDR joe even though RDR is great its not better than Fallout 3 nor is it 10/10, but fair enough its your opinion
Its been out for a while and I still think that Fallout 3 is better. I love Fable, but it does not age well. I have spent hours making new quests and mods for Fallout 3. The game just never ends!
I love Bethesda and their past works but they are taking a major hit in my opinion right now due to the lack of support for windows 7. I played Fallout 3 on xp and thought it was sweet, downloaded all the add on’s and other than the difficulty being a bit too easy for me even on the hardest settings thought the story was excellent and the game play tops. So for XP I’m giving it at 9.5 and for windows 7 and big fat zero so far… !!!
personally i use to hate fallout3 i would say o it sucks because of the whole pipboy in everything but i wacthed my friend play it adn i had other thoughts on the game so i bought it and now i ilove IT!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 the only prob i had with this is when im owning and it crashes on me like not often but hey TESLA CANNON 2 FACE OF MUTANT = EPIC

Fallout 3 may have taken over my life its my favorite game of al time. Ive played Oblivion its great but i thought Fallout 3 was better
I’m a fan of the old Fallout games so I’ll try to restrain myself here…
The only thing Bethesda has going for them is there kick ass environmental artist. The plot is paper thin, the characters are two dimensional and the animations are sub par. Most of the bugs in Fallout 3 existed before in Morrowind. They’ve had over 8 years to iron out these bugs from that old gaming engine.
I often think had a game company like Bioware released fallout 3 it would not had been so well received simply because people expect more from them.
Fable 2 was a complete waste of : 1- my money, 2- my time. Fallout 3, on the other hand, offered so much more and I got myself mixed in this game. Fallout 3 for the win! Even if Oblivion was kinda better…just like Joe said. Remember the feeling we all had when we first got out of the sewers in the begining of Oblivion, such a feeling will never come back.
I think I liked Oblivion a little bit more, too. I am a little disappointed that Oblivion only had one expansion pack (that still costs about $20-$30 btw), while FO3 has about 5 and there are plans for even more. The aiming was a little off as well, I don’t know if it was because I just suck, but I found myself using V.A.T.S a lot more often as the game progressed, and I’m not usually that bad at FPS’s. But because I love Bethesda and the DLC is awesome, I give it a solid 9.5.

Fallout 3 was way better than Fable 2. First of all, I’d like to say that I played Fallout 3 before the 1st 2 fallout games or Oblivion, so this game was superb to me. And 200 endings? That’s hilarious. Then again, I wouldn’t mind too much. I wouldn’t play through the whole game 200 times anyway. Anyway, I’d give Fallout 3 a 9/10. The story could have been more epic, but had more emotion the way it was. I’m not sure, but I think the add-on content gives more story to the game.

Reason For Fallout3 9/10 : Game was fun alright was fun kept me entertained for a effing while ! Ok i did all sidequests visited random places like a death claw nest and shit and found random stuff like a 8or7 Fatman launcher (Who wanna waste 7 nukes in one shot?) ( Sure if you wanna load everytime and have a blast doing it i consider it a + but beside that reason i dont see it ) lincons Rifle,His Hat,His figurine, An alien blaster anyway i had fun but wished V.A.T.S wasent in game … Sure it added style but whats the fun having a deathclaw friggin pounding you outta nowhere and you can screw the moment with a single button … seriously… 9/10 For Scenery Gore And Fun Rpg But for me V.A.T.S Fucked it a bit . Oh and Dlc With Level Recap and new guns and places to visits was nice addons.
P.S 200 My Ass. Not Even CronoTrigger Was Topped In endings even today !
Reason For FableII 8.5 : Dont get me wrong Underscored it under fallout 3 Yo i got the game played it a lot … But there is things that got me down in this game… Armor… WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY? None … NONE !?! Seriously common ! Where is that Kickass Plate?!? Or Chainmail or Thingsthatyouweartoprotectyournutsack ! Instead of that you get clothes… Oh You can change thier colors thier desings … DID WE ASKED FOR A FREGGIN CATWALK?!? But eh? The game is fun … The dog was a nice addon to the story. And i also amazing that if you have a women and kids that before the final fight (if you can call it a fight) He says that he killed your childs and slay your woman like a pig (or something like that ) So Basicly As The story evolve every side quest and almost every choices you make even making babies will have an effect and thats kickass to me and lionhead did a effing good job at doing it … sooo 8.5 for : Story Based around character choices was badass , The Dog was a neat addon , They Continued from the First Fable, lacks of armor ( Does not count Dlc ) ,They Kept Demon doors ( I loved Them ), Lacked Bestiary ( Seriously They Have the SAME monsters than the first one … execpt for that shady women who whispers shit to you about things you do in the past… )

Fallout 3 was a huge disappointment after the initial week of nonstop playing. I literally talked about it like the second coming and what i got was a game that was oblivion with guns, but much MUCH shorter. I still randomly play oblivion and have fun randomly taking out towns and doing random quest/finding dungeons. Go go Elder Scrolls V? Plz dont dissapoint
