The Reasons Why TAKEN Is A Bad Ass Movie

So, if you don’t know what TAKEN is about, it’s about a man who used to be a secret
Op’s agent who goes to Paris to rescue his daughter who gets kidnapped by people
who intend to sell her on the black market.

There are one hundred ways this movie could have gone wrong, but it missed every
one of those opportunities. Instead we are presented with a bad ass movie from beginning
to end. Here are my FIVE reasons why you should go see this movie-

1- Liam Neeson is perfectly cast. AS a dramatic actor, you don’t picture this type of
guy in this role. But what we get is someone that makes us believe that he is this
awesome guy we’d hate to be on the bad side of. I have seen Liam in a lot of roles and
I have to say this is his best.

2- The direction of the movie is excellent. You feel the rising tension as time starts
to run out. There are near misses through out the film and it is heartbreaking. I originally
thought that they spent too much time establishing the strained father/daughter
relationship in the beginning, but it was necessary to do that to draw you in when
the daughter is on the phone and is taken.

3- The action scenes are fun! Once again, you see QuiGonn running around threatening
people and it is just so real. My favorite action scene was when he busts into the
construction scene brothel and goes on a rampage.

4- The story is kinda scary when you think about it. this could happen to anyone
at any time. It could be my kid one day in that situation. And the layers unfold
quite nicely as the story progresses. What you think is a simple kidnapping turns
into something far more sinister.

5- The entire speech on the phone where Liam threatens the guy on the phone is
but a taste of whats to come. That whole scene is what sold me on the movie from
the trailers.

TAKEN is a bad ass movie. Go see it. This is definitely a MUST SEE movie. I can not
wait for the unrated DVD release. I want to see more of this movie. Go watch it and
