Silly Soloists, Play With Us!

What the fuck is wrong with some people? I am noticing more and more when I log into a MMORPG like World Of Warcraft that a predominate trend is soloing. What the fuck people?

No, not that Solo. A soloist is someone who insists on playing alone in an online world. Let me break down what MMORPG means to you all – Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game. MULTI-PLAYER!!! It’s not called Massively Solo Online Role Playing Game for playing alone. These games are designed to be played in teams, with other people!

I do not understand why you will spend $50 on a game and then $15 a month to play a game by yourself. Can anyone explain this to me? That’s over $170 dollars a year to run around in a world designed to be experienced with others by yourself! And some of these players have been doing this since day one of game launch. That is a lot of money!

I pay the monthly fee to play with other people. I am always looking for a team. If you invite me, I’ll join. That’s what these games are designed to be. The problem is that people are greedy fucks. Come on people, it is just a game. Who the fuck really cares if you get the special Lunar Boots of Fate for yourself? It certainly won’t help you get laid in the real world. Hell, it won’t do you any good anywhere else outside of the polygon universe of the game. Bragging rights? Oooh, lets cheer this greedy bastard on for paying so much money a year to play by himself. I bet he does a lot of playing by himself.

Why can’t people understand the aspect of social gaming being such an intergral part of MMORPG’s? When did loot farming become more important than actually playing? When did power leveling become so popular when the game has more to offer if you progress naturally? There are always new players, or old players with new characters in these games, so why not make new friends instead of waiting in the background as you watch your XP skyrocket while you do nothing?

I know that the programmers can stop power leveling and farming all together if they wanted.  I guess they are greedy too. They are all too happy to take the absurd amount of monthly fee’s they collect to let obsessed players run around in their beautifully created game worlds alone. Ya’ll are some shady fucks, you know that developers? Shenanigans on you. I appreciate what you have crafted, so why not let me play for free since I actually want to play the game the way you designed it be be played when you actually had ethics.

Yet there are those out there like me who understand the importance of social gaming. They log onto a MMORPG and start looking for a team. They take their time and grow with the game. Kudos to us! Let’s go raid something. Let’s go burn a village. Let’s do something, anything, as long as it is together.

And who knows, maybe we’ll find some Rose Broach of +3 Charisma we can auction off to some stupid soloist.

    I agree

But there are some stupid shits that companys who are new on MMPOrpgs do.

For example: lego universe. It is a shit of a game for many thigs like the price; the stupid micro world and the fact that in the free to play version, you can’t use the chat! YOU CAN’T USE THE CHAT!!!!!!!!

It is so stupid that after playing it i don’t want to buy the game! I just want to know the guys who done that so i don’t play any game they do.

pretty sure this is slightly what the review is about. if someone doesn’t know what they’re doing, just show them. what’s the rush? that’s why you’re paying monthly anyways. this holier than thou attitude towards “noobs” is retarded to be honest. so they aid in your death. . big whoop. just try again. i hate that word and feel anyone who uses it should be punched in the head. just cause you’ve been playing longer than someone doesn’t make you better than them. i play world of warcraft and have been for quite a few years, on and off naturally cause i like keeping my social life. i always see the same type of people perched up on their high horses making smart ass comments at every simple question or typo error, throwing around “ur a noob/nub lol” like it’s going out of style. just like the review said, play the game and have fun. if you let new players stop you from having fun you need to get a life.
