Terminator Salvation: The Good & The Bad

With the movie releasing May 21st we’ve got ourselves another Movie Tie-In Game; Terminator Salvation: The Game. Angry Joe Demands that all Angry Joe Army Members Go see the Movie! That’s an Order! but what about the game? Lets find out in our Latest Game Preview!

We hope that Terminator Salvation can break the mold of crappy tie-in games. Terminator is one of my favorite franchises and for me the additional story looks to be worth checking out, I only wonder if the gameplay will satisfy.

This game was honestly terrible. I mean, the game plays like GoW so that’s allright…..but it’s WAY too short. Only 11 achievements, easy to get 1000/1000. Too easy. Playing on hard the first time through, it took me just a few hours. Really no scarcity of ammo, at first the T-600s (Enodskeletons) are hard, but as the game went on they seemed common and easy. I anticipate that Joe will be very angry with this one. If this was the movie-game that was suppose to revolutionize the genre, I might have lost that hope for salvation.

gears of war rocked so if they pull this off i must just forget they ripped it off as for the film i hope it redeems the series and fixes the lame movie tie ins jinx

If the “internet is abuzz” now with all this mega hype for new movie tie in games does that mean that the previous tie in games were purposely made shitty? Or did the game makers just not give a fuck?

nice vid, but it kinda pisses ME off when people call a game a gears of war rip-off just because it has a good cover system. gears of war did not invent the duck and cover gameplay. terminator salvation will be forgettable because of the lack of replayability due to no online modes. DESTROY IT!!!!!!!!!

this game dose have a chance of being a good game if they had multiplayer and they didnt copy gears of war 2 this game would kick ass . it would be ok if the brout out multiplayer in a update that would be good i just hope this game isnt a total dispointment

hey joe your forgetting terminator isint the only universe set in a future with only war warhammer 40k is set in the 41st millenium where mankind is united in the imperium of man fighting against all its enemies across the universe the humans have supersoldiers fighting in suits of bulky future armor i really recommend you research about warhammer 40k angry joe ,its really good and i think youll like it and its badass.

I wouldn’t normally consider buying a game based on a movie, but the list of upcoming releases looks a little bare right now. Not that I’m complaining, some of us are still trying to recover from spending so much on games from last autumn/winter.

The new Riddick game wasn’t really a movie tie in though. That’s maybe why it was decent-ish.

They look cool, but I see Endoskeletons as bad adversaries usually. They’re slow, they don’t use cover, they don’t feel. They just all your punishment carelessly. I don’t forecast much good from this game really lol. It’s gonna be like a duck hunt, you in cover, the enemies slowly moving towards you, ugh.

Awesome ep. as always. As for the game, I’m on the fence about this one. Has potential but I agree with you on the replayability. Fingers Crossed!

Without Multiplayer I honestly dont think ill spend $60 on it, unless it completely blows me and the review world away. But Like I said in the video It’s definitely already worth a rental.
