GamerDad Special

From one GamerDad to all of you GamerDad’s out there, HAPPY FREAKING FATHER’S DAY.

I started the GamerDad series as a resource to help new fathers to be. There are not a lot of resources out there for dads. And it is not easy. Being a GameDad is special. We are unique amoung men. It is not always an easy road. There are lots of pit stops and speed bumps to over come as a dad. GamerDad may not be exactly what everyone is, or will go through. It is a guide to let you know what the important parts are. No one teaches you how to be a dad. You have to learn by example. My dad was not a good example for me. Well, he was a good example of what not to be. So I am kind of winging it with my son and it is working. Just remember to always keep your head up.

You will see me expanding the entire GamerDad section as the year progresses. I have already started the GamerDad reviews, look for those to hit on the 7th of every month. I have some other fun ideas for it planned out that I think you will all find pretty interesting. Sometime along the line you will see Bed Time Stories, where I will collect all the bizarre made up stories I tell me son at night. I won’t give away too much about those, but lets just say one involves a zombie frog that can cast spells. And there will be other ideas. If there are things you as a GamerDad want to see, send me a message, make yourself known. I know I am not alone out there, but sometimes it feels like it. We are a rare race, far and few between.
