Iron Man 2 Villian Revealed: Who the Hell is Whiplash?

Screen Rant has the first Image of Mickey Rourke as the Villian, Whiplash in the upcoming Iron Man 2 Film. We dive a bit deeper on who the hell this guy is supposed to be here:

According to reports Iron Man 2 will be sporting the Double-Trouble Scenario with Two Villains!
Sam Rockwell is signed on to a play business rival to Tony Stark, Justin Hammer and while Rourke is the super-villian Whiplash, who will be a Russian character. [Looks more Scottish right now to me, is he wearing a kilt?]

Who the hell is Whiplash anyway? I looked it up and he’s looks like this in the comics:

I’m going to take a guess and say that Rourke in the movie still is in some kinda very early design based on Tony’s Mark I Armor that this business rival Justin Hammer bought on the black market.

Hopefully we will see him in something more sleek in the “Big Epic Boss Battle”, like the black and red design above.
