The Last Airbender Trailer Knocks us on our Ass
I’ve got to say I was “Blown Away” by this Teaser Trailer for the Upcoming Movie The Last Airbender, a film based on the first season animated television series of the same name.
I didn’t think they could make it look this interesting, check it out:
I have never been a fan of the animated series, in fact i’ve never even seen a single episode. All I know is it’s about some little boy that can push around air.

But this looks interesting. One kid versus an entire fleet of steampunk looking pirates? Is that the case?
Remember though this is from director M. Night Shyamalan, who’s famous for great films like Sixth Sense, Signs and Unbreakable – but also notorious for terrible films like Lady in the Water, The Village, and The Happening. To me that choice of director seemed rather odd.
Anyway, What did you guys think of the trailer and movie?
Yeah, I saw that. Gave me a bit more faith in the movie, because a LOT of fans of the series think it’ll be horrible, even though all they’ve seen is the teaser. A few won’t even go to see it, in spite of loving the animated series to death.
Looks like it’ll be fun to me.

wow, but shouldn’t the boy be from tibet, cuz i thought the show is about china, japan, korea and tibet. and the main character represented tibet. so it has a hidden free tibet message?????

I love this cartoon and I’m really hopeful about the movie. I think M. Night’s biggest problem is the scripts he uses are kinda weird. Using a story that makes sense and is really good should help him tremendously.

all i can say is wow i have been fallowing the movie sence i 1st herd abouting being a huge fan of the show and as soon as M. night was put on borde i lost what little hope i hade being seeing the trailer i have to say i have a little hope back

If the trailer got you hook then watch the animated series, called Avatar, from the begining. Its pretty epic, and one of the best nicktoon series since Invader Zim.

Didn’t know they were making a movie… Have seen a few episodes of the animated show, and I have to say that those “boats” that the fire comes from looks pretty much as those in the series, if I remember correctly. Anyway the trailer looks very cool, maybe I’ll see the movie when it comes.
