The gun looks awesome, I wonder if it will ever turn up on top ten weapons in gaming. Cause just from this video it looks awesome.
I’m not sure that resorting to cheating will get the gun the respect it deserves. Here’s hoping that they will find a way to remove all of the spam votes and make the contest a bit more fair. A loser shouldn’t be able to win just because they have the time and lack of ethics to pad out the votes in their favor.
Funny how this wonderful firearm is the only one with 10s of thousands more votes than any other weapon (The only weapon with over 10,000 votes) and as of this posting only has a 2.9. Something seems quite fishy if you ask me. I fear a spammer is trying to kick the Asskicker’s ass. I really hope EA is paying attention.

Tacky is just another name for awesome! No, seriously, I like this better than all those “Non-Tacky”, but horribly made sites. IMO, it’s great.
I wonder does EA have the final say? Because surely they wouldn’t accept one of the joke submissions that have crept up to the top-rated submissions. Also, Quinn does seem to have some legitimate points about the gun, and the 7.62 Russian does seem like an odd choice for a sniper (I would have at least gone with 6.8 SPC or 6.5 grendal), but it still looks plausible for Army of two. There are some pretty crazy real-world guns out there, this looks low-key compared to them.

I think the gun should be chambered for the new 6.8 the military is using. It packs the same punch as the 7.62 while being able to travel as far as the 5.56mm.
I actually saw 3 or 4 good weapon designs and they all have scores under 3 while the musket Stone is talking about has 4.5
(its a piece of sh1t). They will probably pick what they like and not judge from the ratings. As for reality i think they will modify the designs themselves and probably change the names too. I personally think Asskicker sound cool but i wouldnt put it in mah game 
Im pretty certain the musket guy is spamming his weapon up to the top, if you look all the top rated weapons are from him and to be perfectly honest there something fishy going on with 4.5 for that abomination.
Here’s the problem with the voting system –
Look at the sheer numbe rof votes and views for our design. That’s massive. And you know a good chunk of that are flammers who hate and that is our downfall. some guy with three votes of 4 will win against or 15000 of four cause 1000 rated it a 1. I ran across these same people when I entered the Killer Films contest over at Massify.com. When I started out, I had the highest rated script for the entry, then the ‘professionals’ hit and their anti voting campaign started where they went to every other script and rated is at like .1 star, killing everyones scripts. And the winning script? It was about a transvestite carnie. Wow. Yeah. Anyways, thats the way these things work cause the voting system is flawed. It sucks, and this win could mean great things for the show despite all the head butting in here and that is all that matters. But there will be haters out there who don’t want to see us win, and trust me when I say they will do everything they can to make sure of it. We just all need to be honest and, ah who the hell am i kidding. Let’s kick all their asses and start rating everything to 0!! Especially the musket? Come on were they even trying?

Well, I couldn’t agree more, Stone. And he means the Sound Musket thing. But yeah, I moved us up with that. We’re at 3.4, and something that once was 4.6 (With no detail, 3 scopes, and bad art) is at 3.6. It Belongs at -5.
This gun doesn’t belong in Ao2: the guns in it actually follow the conventions of reality to some degree. This doesn’t.

Great design and it really shows your effort. But I’ve just come back from voting (5 stars) and I’m worried It’s all for nothing. The score is low, and so many voters have submitted (over 15 000 WTF?). I think there are some people who will go out of their way to make sure this weapon will not make it into the game. I mean, just look at the comments regarding the AS-KR1 at that site. They are some serious nut jobs there with loads of time and nothing better to do but put other people down. Maybe they can create more than one account and vote 1 star over and over, it’s insane.
But that aside, I really hope your entry will win and wish you all the best.

“Fire power” seems to be quite the blanket term these days, But I digress. 7.62x39mm is not the most effective ammuntion for “pin-point” accuracy as it tends to drop short because of it’s weight. This is why the Ruskies made the change between the AKM and the AK 74 during the 70′s to 5.45x39mm seeing how the Armalite was working out for the U.S. Now it is Debatable ( See the retarded AR vs AK argument) how well it worked, but obviously well enough for the russians to have secound thoughts. Point is the as-kr1 would work well in something not set in the present, say ( as Quinn said) in unreal tournament. I know that this is just creativity in video games and normaly this wouldn’t bother me, but if you’re going to act like you know what you’re talking about ( See: 7.62×39, clip, drum magzine for pump-action shotgun attachment, Calling an AR-15 a Piece of shit) then do some research first.

Hey, maybe the low accuracy could be a balancing factor?
Maybe in game yes, but my quirrell is with the host and said gun. Again I am most certain that this is all in good spirit, but he seems to emphasize on parts and specifics that he professes to be fimilar with. However I can asure you with what he has already specified and with the addition of some of the aspects of the weapon; he has no idea what he’s talking about.
However in a video game setting this would be a good use of balance, but I fear this would get very annoying mid-firefight when you rifle cannot hit 1 out of 10 targets. Granted that one target would be damaged heavily. This would not exactly the best trade off.

That first concept in the video, the sidearm, looks heavily based off of a nerf gun. Either the revolver looking nerf gun that looks like vash the Stampedes, or a little sidearm that came with a bigger set of a few guns. Just thought i’d give you the heads up.

Btw, why is the view count for the AS-KR1 on the site SO much higher than everyone elses. I mean, even removing the number of views most likely added by fans, the views are STILL a LOT higher than all the others.

See, thing is, man, I didn’t start out insulting you on the site. What I did was point out some problems with the gun. Well, first thing I did was wonder if it was actually Angry Joe from TGWTG. Then EVERYONE jumped on me for having an opinion about it, spamming it up, and such. One guy even registered as ASKR1Win. I mean, that shows the high amount of fanboy right there. I’m not trying to blanket cover you all with a smallpox blanket, I’m just pointing out an admittedly large number of people who like the gun simply because it’s from Angry Joe. Then some dumb fucknuggets insulted my work, with malice in their text and ignorance in their brains, without offering constructive criticism, downspamming my work, generally being big, blubbery douches. That kinda irks me. You know, just a bit. I know you all aren’t like that. I personally am a big TGWTG fan, but people who don’t know how weapons work probably shouldn’t really be designing them for a game based on reality. Yes, I AM a bit of a prick, I know that. I accept that. But you gotta separate people from their work. That’s what I do all the time. I don’t blame Angry Joe for idiot fanboys, I blame the fanboys themselves. FIRST OFF: It looks really badass, BUT, it would fit better in an Unreal Tournament game rather than Army of Two.
SECOND: This rifle would not feed. The MAGAZINE (raeg) is much too short, only goes to the tip of the magwell, and the barrel and receiver are set too high. If the rifle feeds from the drum, then that would block the MAGAZINE feeding the shotgun. Either way, this gun could not feasibly work unless you extended the magazine.
THIRD: 7.62×39 precise? Hahahahahaha. You should have gone with 7.62x51mm NATO. A round that’s actually USED for precise rifles. The x39? The most precise rifle I can personally think of that uses that cartridge is the SKS. It’s an infantry round, not a DMR round.
I’ll think of more stuff.

I thought your gun was omfg when it came up it had everything i wanted for a gun and the name is brilliant. On the website i couldn’t find any better gun apart from yours, all the rest had badly drawn pictures apart from a few but i am sure you and the Angry Joe Army will win
