Doug & Linkara Riff On Dragonball: The Magic Begins!
During our Trip to Youmacon Doug and Linkara Teamed up with Tony and Tom to Produce Mystery Science Theater 4000! (MST4K!). Here are some of the highlights from that Event where the Crew Riffed on the Little Known Dragonball movie; Dragonball: The Magic Begins Ultimate Edition! (100 min Running time)
Originally Aired During the Donation Drive here’s a Special edition version just for all you damn Freeloaders that werent able to attend the Drive or Youmacon (now much easier to see!).
Lifting weights in a flannel shirt and jeans is not going to be any fun at all. Neither is running in a big puffy winter coat and boots. So, try to get workout clothes that fit with the type of exercise that you are doing. A nice comfortable pair of running/walking shoes is a good place to start. There are many shoe companies now that manufacture their shoes to match any gait that a person could have. Get shoes that are both comfortable and airy so you don’t get blisters on your feet. Wearing loose fitting clothing is good if you are going to be weightlifting or playing basketball, but you want tighter fitting clothing if you are going to be doing yoga or pilates. Tighter fitting clothes will keep you from having to worry about all the extra material on your body while you are trying to move and stretch.

You guys should be doing your own spin on a bad film commentary show. Don’t try and make it exactly like MST3K. Mystery Science Theater 3000 was the greatest miniseries that ever aired. Somewhere far behind closed doors, there are people who are trying to bring that show back to life. Four guys ripping Dragonball was great, but it did get a little noisy. I think it would be funnier ripping on the ridiculous costumes more and the inconsistent settings. Did you notice toward the end of the film there were more scenes of the video game! Comparing one scene to a similar scene in another movie doesn’t really hit me in the funny bone. I would also recommend having Noah there doing Dr. Insano during the films, he’s brilliant, that is if you’re going for an all-star comedic bash.

Please Joe, can you put up the full version again. I know you had it up at one point, but you took it down and edited it down. Sadly some of my friends at Youmacon couldn’t make it, and some of the jokes that were left out were funny as well. Or at least have some way that we can download it?

i was here for the Youmacon showing of this. The Riffing was amazing! It’s true we all hated the movie about half way through but all these fine gentlemen made it worth watching. I wish I had a full video of this to watch.

Yeah i’m sure your going to get a million of these requests but you have GOT to make the full movies commentary available somewhere. I mean at least a link to a fileshare site with a .torrent file (if its to much for your bandwidth of course) because i totally must see the whole thing. Yes i have seen the movie by itself but your commentaries are so hilarious in just those little parts and i just have to see the rest of it. You don’t have to reply to this just do EVERYONE who couldn’t go to Youmacon a HUGE favor (and make us all every kind of happy there is) and let us see your entire recording of the whole movie.
