New Demos On XBOX LIVE! Download both!

Just in Time for Christmas two new Demos are Up on Xbox Live, both of which i’m extremely interested in! Go start the download of both right now and Hit the Jump to learn more about them!
First, Army of Two: The 40th Day has a small taste of a mission within the campaign. And YES our Gun is in the Demo! Unfortunately its just one big huge COCKTEASE as I cant for the life of me figure out a way to UNLOCK THE DAMN THING! WHY! Why would you do that do us!??!
Divinity II is an RPG that came outta no where, in development for nearly 7 years it offers fast action and plenty of Loot! (and im a Loot Whore!). I’ll be making a video about this game for sure. But here’s just a few of the things you will be able to do in the main game: Transform into a Dragon, Read the Minds of NPC’s to reveal new quests and see their true intentions, own your own dark castle, order around butlers who can gather loot and items from you throughout the areas of the world you’ve explored! Nice!
After you’ve downloaded them, Report back with your Impressions!

While Divinity 2 is a rather good game, it deffinately feels like it lacks a great many things. Every now and then I ended up wondering if the developers had left out alot of content and story to meet some sort of deadline.
The difficoulty of this game is an odd one, if you encounter a group of mobs one level above you, then you will most likely have to pick them off a few at a time, but if the same group is one level below you then taking on 8 at a time doesn’t really make you break a sweat if you have a few potions.
You will usually find that mobs are far too strong or way too weak.
The intro is used during the game itself, and while it’s timing is good it makes me ponder why the specefic part was used as an intro, since the game would have done perfectly well without an intro at all.
The ability to turn into a dragon at will is extremly satisfying and impressively executed. With that said there are some things that bugs me, like the limit as to how high you can fly, I would have preferred anti dragon barriers and granted the player even more freedom in the dragon form.
While in the dragon form you can’t see any npc’s on the ground, and it is unfortunate as I often landed right in the middle of a group of mobs higher level than me, and I would have liked the ability to see these ground npc’s.
The battle tower (you get your own tower!) greatly lacks a smith, at first I was under the impression that the enchanter you chose could either forge weapons or armours for you, alas, this is not so.
The varity of weapons and armours in the game is okay but not great, my hero ran around in an odd colour combination for far more than the first half of the game, and I would really have liked the ability to change the colour of my armour.
I had alot of troubles paying for upgrades and buying new items within the game, untill I started selling the diamonds that my runner collected. So a friendly tip for all of you, once you have your battle tower, upgrade one of your runners and collect diamonds as soon as possible.
With everything I have said, this game is still great and deffinately worth playing, and although the world seems far too small there are a great many quests to do.
I posted this some time ago on the long dead divinity steam forum, so it is possible that you may already have read it.
divinity AWSOME AO2 SUCKS BALLS
I dowloaded the demo of Divinity 2 and it totally sucks! -.- Its laggy and the graphics could be much better.
I cant download the demo of AoT2, cause I live in germany and AoT2 wont be released here like AoT1 -> NO DEMO! WTF?!?! I hate this state! ._.
Dude, Germany is a Country, not a state…
played the demo of army of two AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! its so much fun i saw the weapon and it looks awesome will you do a review on the demo?
Alright, WTF is this bull?
I have a PS3 and not an 360, so I can’t even try the Divinity 2 demo. Granted, though, I’m quite hesitant about said title; I just have this really bad feeling that it would turn out like Sacred 2 (hella similar title, eh?) and end up disappointing. I’ve seen trailer after trailer and it just fails to grip me.
But enough of that. What’s REALLY pissing me off is that the AoT demo (or at least, the PS3 demo) is co-op only! WTF? And what about we gamers who don’t have anyone to play with and want to try it out single-player? There’s focussing on a particular market, and then there’s outright jipping we lone wolves!
Sadly, I think I’ll have to skip out on AoT. As kickass as the Asskicker is, the lack of single-player demo to test things out, plus my general dislike of third-person shooters, doesn’t exactly encourage me to give it a try. I suppose I could try the original game and get the unlock over and done with, but even so, I don’t want to spend 8 bucks unlocking one gun for a game I may very well hate.
You really don’t have any friends…?
It is army of TWO after all…
saying it’s made for a specific audience.. since it’s rated mature, it’s already only for a specific audience.. Adults, and mature aged 17 gamers.
Does the demo come with online play? If it does.. I don’t see how you have an excuse, seeing as you have a ps3..
Though as you said yourself, you don’t like third person shooters, so this already wasn’t made for you, but you seem to be upset none the less…
Divinity 2 was pretty fun, it has an interesting plot to say the least, i only got as far as inquiring about the dragon before the game froze, it also seems to have frame rate troubles and talking to people isn’t always easy
But if these issues are fixed by released it’ll be a great game
Yea we will have to see if they can clean up Divinity because its still kinda messy but there is some fun in there, but would it be worth sorting through all of that to get to it.
I’ll reserve judgment on AOT for the Full Version, I dont think the demo did a steller job showing off its new features.
downloading as we speak, well report back in the morning once i’ve played them
didn’t feel like finishing the divinity 2 demo after i found out you couldn’t save it. i know that you’ll be able to in the full game, but after getting to level 5 and clearing out most of the area around the town of goblins, i died and had to start over. couldn’t do it, i’ll just play the real game, but i really liked what i did play.
Ao2 was about what i expected it would be. pretty good, customization is good. if there is a way to unlock the as-kr1 it will be online in a week. ready to play with it.
Sorry Joe, but I didn’t really like the AoT demo. I mean, the AS-KR1 is indeed the best weapon ever created for a game (now if only we could unlock it), but the gameplay wasn’t much better than the first AoT (which IMO was very repetitive). Hopefully the full game surprises me, but from what I’ve played in the demo I’m kind of doubting it right now.
Divinity II Eco Draconis on Xbox Live – Now THATS how you do a Demo! A very extensive preview of the main game. This RPG came outta nowhere!
Its a bit rough around the edges, but its got alot of charm.
I kick bunnies.
Totally disagree with B0rg, the AoT demo, quite frankly, kicked ass.
Being a big fan of the first game, I also noticed how the first game quickly got repetitive, but with AoT.. 2 the game has been completley revamped, the first thing you notice are the new graphics, hell yeah their awsome!
Rios and Salems’ outfits have also been pimped up to look more realistic.
On realism, the game with massive surprise to me is pretty realistic to a certain extent, Rios and Salem pull up their masks when not in combat and enemies react to how you move, enemies also crawl around and use their pistol on you if you shoot them in the legs or wound them.
Now on the gameplay, I noticed they made the aggro system a lot harder to use, or it could of just been that your both given two of the same guns. I noticed the enemy AI has been greatly improved too, I spotted some of the enemies giving eachother help to climb a ledge to try to flank us etc.
The melee system is also a lot better to my surprise when you use melee to kill an enemy, it looks just as awsome as the first game.. but better. The new ‘Struggles’ you can get into with an enemy is also a big up for me.
I love how they give you a small taste of the weapon customization, its everything I expected.
The masks look awsome, a nice wide variety to choose from, but what I’m really looking forward to is making my own, I already predict people making masks from movies/comics (e.g The Joker, Iron Man, that crazy guy with the white mask from Watchmen)
The best part was when it surprised me with the choice system, such a simple idea for coop, yet its so great, I’m definantly going to have fun with the choices when I play with a friend.
On coop, they’ve kept everything they did in the first game and added more along with improving on it like how I can play rock paper scissors with my partner, it doesnt do anything in the game, its just there for the players, me and my friend use it to decide who takes the aggro, who flanks the turret, who goes first etc. I am very eager to find out what the rest of the game has in store.
Theres also a few collectibles throught the game, such as gun parts, I also found a hidden item which I have no idea what it did, but I already see -a lot- of replayability for the game, and with the new ‘Extraction’ mode, the game with stay alive for a very long time.
Though alas, every game has its faults, I didnt realy like the voice for JB, and when Alice (I forget her name) is talking to you, in some points its hard to hear her.
The biggest fault, however, is that the ASKR1 is locked.. I and yet its there.. its like putting a £/$500 note on the floor, then putting a cage around it so no one can get to it, its a big ‘Fuck You’.
Overrall I’ve already pre orderd the game and can’t wait to whack out my blue AK 47 with a soda can and blade on it, with a ‘O_o’ mask, bring on AoT.. 2 !
