The Donation Drive was a SMASH HIT!

Just got back from Chicago where we conducted a Live Internet Donation Drive for the Ronald Mcdonald Charity leading up to the Holidays!
I wasn’t sure how well the event was going to do, would people actually donate money? Isnt the internet full of freeloaders and Trolls? Well apparently I was proven wrong. MASSIVELY Wrong. At least when it comes to our Fans! We had over $26,000 in donation in around 7 hrs! And the donations are still coming in! At this rate we might end up at $30,000 if we arent there already! We even had one donator, Johnny M. Donate over $3000! Thats alot of toys for Christmas and help for the less fortunate this holiday season!!
In fact we will continue to take donations till Wednesday! And you can watch the entire live broadcast here: http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/component/content/article/40-front-page-scroller/14367-tgwtg-charity-drive-2009
During the Drive we took calls, showed exclusive videos, and called the high-rollers whos hearts were as big as casaba melons! Over the next few days thatguywiththeglasses.com will be putting up the videos that aired during the drive in high quality so be on the look out!
But here’s one of my Favorites; The Carlton Dance! We’ve had a dance-off every Drive and this is the one sean managed to put together just 2 days before the show!

Personally I don’t think that Mr. Handsome has received enough accolades for his humanitarian efforts. In my opinion a lot of celebrity do-gooders are totally phony and engage in so called good deeds merely for positive publicity. I have to say that I don’t think that George is one of the phonies out there in the world of celbrity do-gooders. I admire what he is doing for the Haitian people. I wish more celebrities were as real as he is when it comes to helping out those less fortunate in the world. So kudos to George and his desire to make this world a better place.

I was one of the viewers and I was sure to donate, I’m unemployed and spent most of my money on xmas presents for other people so I could only give $25 though (half my food budget for the week, I can eat a bit less for 7 days if it means sick kids can have a better holiday season)
I was really charmed by how serious and enthusiastic you were about raising money Joe, that night you really won me over. I wish you all the best for the future, have a happy holiday!

I love how you guys picked Tom Jones. Yeah, Joe was the best, but Benzaie wasn’t bad either. They were all great $26,000 for R.M. House….EVERYONE won.

Hey Joe. Have to say, I liked your dancing better then everyone else, since you really seemed to have your heat into it. I can’t wait to see the full video.
