Aliens vs Predator Review
The Short Version: The New Aliens vs Predator stays true to the series, so closely in fact that it seems not much has changed since the original in 1999. Despite Rebellion not taking any risks or offering anything radically new, what we end up with is a fun single-player ride and an strongly unique multiplayer component in spite of its dated game design mechanics.
The Review:
Are you Finished Joe!? You a Wise Ass Now? COME HERE! Get over HERE!
What you’ll Like:
• 3 Unique Species Campaigns that offer 12-15 Hours of Content.
• Marine and Predator Campaigns are a Blast.
• Extremely fun and thematic Multiplayer with 7 Game Types such as Infestation, Species DM, and 4-player Co-op Survivor.
• Accurate and Nostalgic Sound FX with a Pulse Pounding Soundtrack.
What you’ll Hate:
• Lack of Iron Sights, Restrictive Levels and Below Average Graphics show not much has changed since its Predecessors.
• Alien Campaign not up to Par, how many more times will they fashion an “escape from your cell” story?
• Multiplayer Progression only unlocks 6 rigid and uninteresting character skins per side. Alien skin differences are barely noticeable.
• ONLY 2 EFFING Multiplayer Maps for Parties of 12-players or more?

I have loved Aliens since I was 6 years old that my Dad let me saw the first movie and I really love the game and all of the films, since then I’m a fan but in multyplayer the predator is sow overpower that its not even funny it takes me a lot of effort to kill one that an alien, I really hated that and the plasmacaster from the predator is annoying as hell they need to work on that. theirs many problems in the game but Ijust ignore them. Finally I’m just waiting and hoping that another AVP comes out for xbox.
Joe knows what he’s doing. FINALLY someone points out how no one talks about multiplayer, the focus of the game. It’s GREAT.
geezuz imagine that dance sequence if they went with the original bug design for the Predators
An alien origin story would be cool. I mean like the early days of the alien species. I guess Prometheus kind of ruined that though. What if there was a multiplayer mode unlocked every ten levels where you fought a boss alien or predator? If you don’t beat it, you can’t unlock the next one but you can have friends help you as well. Every time you complete one of these you unlock something cool and your character avatar gets a new skull, or acid mark, or tally mark on their helmet or something.
i think he is wrong with the whole not being able to draw in new fans. i always new about the movies for both aliens and predators but never cared to really watch them…. until i played the game and watched his videos now i am bitching at my parents to get those movies and checking with all of my friends to see if they have a copy of any of them
joe: i cant wait for colonial marines i know its going to work.
me: .__. ……. WRONG!!!!!
Do you even know when this video was posted?
I liked this game it may not be Call of Duty but its good.
the banished predator is the plot of predtor concrete jungle, but its about you, a banished predator who was left on an alien homeworld for 100 years and are brought back because you must stop the humans with your technology
My own favorite AVP game is still the old beat ‘em up arcade game from ’94 by Capcom (back when they seemed to have had some business morels).
An arcade-bionic-arm-Dutch skin, or a Lynn Kurosawa skin would have been fun too.
God, I loved That game as a kid
I am a fan of Alien Vs Predator, Currently in the middle of a play through on hard and them impossible.
I myself can see past the rough edges of the graphics and the narrow restricted areas.
I for one played Colonial Marines and for the life of me I loath myself for picking up the controller. This game was my salvation.. I jumped right back into a fresh campaign and was even happy to realize that all my information was gone, GameScore included.
Now I can go through all of this gain and see all the sights and kill all the aliens over again.
…Lets Rock Marines…
I was Fine without the iron Sights. gave you a way to spray and pray as if you were actually doing it as a marine.
i myself have actually be trying to put together a sequel pitch that i think would be great for fans as well as appreciate the material of franchise, so far story is still becoming a problem obviously but i actually own Alien, and AvP comics and films which are causing inspiration to create a great story for all three of the species. I would not want to fuck up the series but i would like to see something great made and be involved in it some how
Joe, I wonder what you think of AVP 2010 after seeing the gruesome Colonial Marines….
when i heard him say “i can’t wait for aliens colonial marines” i gulped xD
We know Rebellion can make a good game (see Sniper Elite V2), so maybe see if they can make a better new AvP game within the next few years to make up for A:CM? That’s about the only idea I have to redeem Sega for this terrible sleight upon humanity. Gearbox needs to hand dev back over and see what Rebellion can do with some newer ideas.
i hated this game and loved the second one for the pc,i still have it actually, but the lack of bullets and having to punch your way really sucked for me,love the sounds the graphics where ok but i dont care about graphics, but yeah gameplay for me sucks
I really need sauce on the get to the choppah theme.
Fuckin awesome!
Joe does make some good points i was so damn dissapointed with the part of the pred-alien dont get me wrong i love the one in the game as in the movie as well its just that when it came down to the multyplayer i thought there were gonna be game types like where one player was predalien warrior and the rest where marines and it was a fight to the death or 1 player plays as a queen and 2 as predatoins and the rest of the players are predators its just there was so mutch that could have been done i think rebllion just dident see that so they dident try to do anything
I think a cool multiplayer mode would be like black ops’s gun game on steroids
heres my idea the mode is called survival of the fittest on a large map with 12 players per team.
The match has an unlimited overall time but is divided into a number of 5 miniute intervals where the player with the lowest score in each team is killed off however they can come back if their team accomplishes an objective or calls for reinforcements from their base.
As the match goes on players are rewarded upgrades for surviving and getting kills for example a marine may gain an increased health total and will deal more damage.
Or a predator will gain a more plentiful supply of mines or blades or plasma cells for his plasma caster, or may move faster or have a cloak that hides him better
An alien may get bonuses like increased speed increased damage more health ect.
Marines have a ”base” at each side of the map.
the bases are well fortified havo only one or two entrance points and have an armoury with plentiful supplies of ammo for every weapon as well as plenty of stims.
Predators have a ship at each of the corners of the map in an elevated position usually high up on a cliff or a tree they are basically the same as the marines ”bases” they are well fortified and resupply health and ammo
Aliens have three ”hives” in random locations in the map. these locations are far enough away from the marine ”bases” and the predators ”ships” that you dont get rushed but are close enough so you know not to mope about not getting the smart gun. The aliens all start off as face huggers that hatch from eggs in the hives and must inpregnate a marine or predator.
Each species has objectives to complete in order to be declared the victors and thus the dominant species.
Marines: at the start of the game 2 marines are randomly selected to be ”demolition operatives” they will still have their custom loadout but will have their heavy weapon slot filled by a M5 RPG and one of their grenade slots is filled by a target beacon. the idea is simple
.Marines escort and protect deom operative
.Marines must protect their ”General” to keep their constant supply of respawning ammo
.Demo operative must use either the M5 RPG or the beacon to take out both the predators ships and the xeno hives. Destroying the enemies ”Bases” will replace the infinite respawn with a limited number of respawn tickets that is determined by how well they are doing ( A team who is loosing will have less tickets and vice versa)
.Eliminate as many of the enemy as possible to keep their score up
.Finally place a beacon at the roof of one of the bases signaling an orbital strike and immediate dropship dust off and hold that position until an APC or Dropship comes to evac you get onboard and get the hell out of there.
Predator:
Predators must take as many trophies as possible to keep their score up and will usually do a hit and run attack on the marines/Aliens then retreat back to their ship.
.Destroy the xenomorph breeding facilities by destroying the remaining eggs and eradicating the Queen. place a wrist bomb in the hive and then get out.
.Hunt the remaining aliens down
.Smash through the human defences and kill their leaders then plant another wrist bracer in each human base
.Make trophies of the remaining humans while awaiting evacuation.
Aliens:
Aliens as mentioned above start as face huggers and must inpregnate another human or predator. when they respawn as an ALien their objectives are:
.Harvest the predators elders at their ships and smash the controls causing ths ships to shut down and become useless.
.Kill and harvest the remaining predators
.get inside the perimeter of the human bases
.Harvest the humans leaders and cause the power generators of the human bases to overload.
.Get to an elevated position and call the horde with a howl
.Kill or harvest the remaining humans
When a team has won a match it will then display a cutscene unique to each species
Human: on the roof of the base the humans have formed a last stand they are firing in all directions at the species that is left alive be it alien or predator. A dropship while arrive and drop the bay door the marines will pile on board and one random member will slowly walk backwards firing at the enemy and will shout” I got your back guys” he will then hop aboard the dropship then one of the remaining type of enemies will try to get into the bay door the marine who hopped on board the dropship moments earlier will turn around and stab the creature in the head then then shoot it with a shotgun. As the dropship takes off the camera cuts to an overhead shot of the dropship taking off as the Antaues blasts the site as the dropship flies out of shot the colonial marine logo comes up on the screen then the words ”victory, humans are the dominant species”
Predator: This depicts the predators fighting off the remaining enemies be it Aliens or marines the predator ship will then appear over head and pulls the predators up into the ship and it then blasts the site to oblivion then flies off it will then display the predator symbol on the screen and underneath the words”Victory, Predators are the dominant species will appear
Alien: This has aliens attacking and inpregnating their remaining enemies be it Marines or Predators the camera then changes to an Alien going on top of a building and howling hundreds of Aliens stream over the boundries of the map and swarm the remaining enemies the Alien logo appears and underneath the words” Aliens are the dominant species” appears
Each species has a unique advantage playing in their favor that give them each an advantage over the other species
Marines:
.Have excellent teamwork capabilities and can use the moleculer scopes on their sniper rifles and smart guns to spot targets for the others
.The Marines have the best ranged capabilites
.The marines have the ability to revive fallen comerades
.The marines have motion trackers so they have an advantage at holding positions
Predators
.The predators are absolute tanks and can kill an Alien or human with a single heavy blow and cannot be inpregnated by a facehugger un less they are weakened or the facehuggers are undetected.
.The predators have a good range of stealth based weapons such as the combi stick or the spin blades this is helped by the predators cloak ability.
The predators can carry alot more weapons than the colonial marines and thus can preform a greater variety of tasks with their weapons
Alien:
.The aliens have great stealth abilities and can pick off the marines once the predators break them up.
.Any player that is inpregnated by a facehugger is then transformed into an Alien
.The aliens have great speed and can get out of tight situations quickly.
Its actually funny how i got this game i was looking for something scary to play and the guy behind the counter said it was scary anyway im getting off topic. My idea for AVP3 is this:
Marine- you are CPL. Conor Hunt a part of the pltoon of marines stationed adboard the destroyer ‘ANTAUES’ being sent to find the rookie and the latina lady and recover them using their dropships tracking beacon. when you land you establish a fortress and begin scouting the area when you find the dropship. the rookie and the two pilots have been defending it for a while, one of the pilots is injured and the other is fine. they have been defending tequilla who is still in stasis. When you recover them the rookie reveals that the xenos have not been as focused and he even saw some of them fighting eachother(this is because of an infection that has begun to affect the xenos and also begins to affect the humans so the main story for marines is to find out whats causing this and stop it.) as a marine you and your squad begin to clear out hives and establish more bases eventually culminating in a doomed assault on the xeno cente hive it is going well until about halfway through your assault the infected turn up and begin to turn the situation FUBAR basically you escape and some marines begin to crack and the game does really put the focus on the horrors and stress of a bug hunt gone wrong. your efforts culminate in eliminating the empress and supposedly annialateing the xenos however after the credits for the marine campaign it is a shot of the surface of the planet with more bases being established and dropships doing flyovers as it moves down you see inside a mountain with mines being built and as it continues to move down it settles in the empress chamber where you see tons of dead xenos and the dead empress she is surrounded by hundreds of dstroyed facehugger eggs but when the top of the cavern shakes her arm moves and drops and egg which sunsequently opens and a royal facehugger jumps out then the screen goes black. the gameplay will be similar to avp except with the addition of iron sights a motion tracker that you have to pull out and perks these are things likereinforced armor or a bigger STIM bag. You will be able to customise your weapon with different colours, write things on it and even apply decals the same can be done to the armor and finaly marines in this game will cop on and wear balaclavas! there will be tons of unlockable skins to serve as archetypes for customisation like characters from the movies also for beating the game on normal you unlock the ‘whiskey company splinter soldier’ outfit from turok (the co-op guys)
Predator- When a predator is dishonoured on a hunt by loosing blood to lesser enemy he is banished however the predator protests against the high council so he is sent to the xeno home world to make trophys of an un-heard of number of xenos however when he gets down to making trophys of xenos he thus encounters the humans realising that he is vastly outnumbered already the predator decides to leave the humans alone. gameplay is very similar one again to avp except the predator now has every weapon ever seen in a predator or avp movie plus some new ones at his disposal. about halfway through the predator campaign the predator crosses paths with the protagonist of the marine campaign and they forge a truce this is reminiscent of the scene in avp where the predator makes a spear for lex out of a xeno, while alot of people dumped on this scene me and my friend thought it was awesome. the predator and marines hellp eachother until the climax where the predator bags a big badass trophy: the empress’s head! in the final cutscene it shows him having his honour restored on his home planet and is officialy made the second in command to the elder seen at the end of AVP. Gameplay in the predator campaign will revolve along getting as many trophys as possible while still finishing your opponents with grace and brutality, it will also focus on upgrading your weapons and armor to do and take more damage. the story will have a sense of honor and importance similar to the sangheili from halo.
Alien- while the gameplay will be very similar to AVp it will feature called feeding experianc : if you pin a marine to the ground you have the option to feast on him or let a face hugger do the work there are different effects for both
feed- you basiacly maul the human for a few secods before taking a final bite of his subsequently snapping his neck and tossing him a few feet away this will also allow you to go over and do a head bite for extra xp, the effects of doing this is that they will give you more skill points this allows you to upgrade your xenos physique, you know greater strength more speed less noise
Harvest- you let a nearby face hugger do it the marine will be harvested and you will gain a sizeable ammount of xp this can be used to give your xeno new abilities such as acid spitting, in-pregnate humans with your second mouth, shoot blades from four claws, break humans necks with you legs while you are above them ect. however you cannot head bite the human later and certain marines will resist and stab the face hugger with their knife and proceed to pull out their pistol you must complete a quick time event to cut off the arm holding the pistol with your tail then either head bite them or finish them with your claws. However if you fail the quick time event they will blow your ugly bug head off.
The story begins when an explorer is brought into the hive and is harvested by a facehugger with your embryo, when you emerge instead of going directly out the chest you make multiple holes all over the human then shoot out his forehead.
A few interactive cutscenes see you ”training” the first few chapters see you rroaming the wastes attacking the infected xenos however when the humans arrive the queen gets you and hundreds of other drones to attack one of their bases, it is mostly a success with you having killed many humans but you are subsequently captured when they gas the area.
when you wake up you are inprisoned and are being mocked by a human in the holding cell however when he wanders behind you to mock you
you slice his stomach open and then impale him with your tail then throw the marine through the glass where of the observation window where the marine destroys the power when you escape you return to the hive where you are ordered to kill the newly arrived predator so you begin investigating breeding gronds and hives that the preadator has massacred until you meet with the predator. (note this is after the predator has parted ways with the humans so chronologically the alien campaign is the longest) a boss fight ensues where you must defeat ther predator. after a tough fight a cutscene begins where you and the predator charge at eachother however you slice the predators chest with your tail the predator drops to his knees and you run a short distance, turn and pounce however at the last second the predator stands up and impales you with the combi stick while you are above him and then swings the combi stick down to the left before embeding his wrist blades in your arms he then forces you to the ground and fires several plasma caster shots into your chest as you make a final effort to attack the predator he brings over one of his wrist blade and collects your head as a trophy. the game cuts to the predators keep back on the predators home planet a banquet has been thrown in his honour on the wall is the head of an empress and a praetorion head is located to the lower left the predator the places your head on the lower right of the empresse’s. the crowd cheers and roars with approval the camera then begins to move in on your head and the screen goes black the AVP logo goes across the screen and the credits roll.
…as an additional note, regarding the Predator, I think they are weak, and not to be feared. I’m working also on a movie ideal called Aliens: Rebirth. It took scientists 7 failed attempts before reaching Ripley Clone number 8, but if they would have had the right catalyst, would have succeeded the first time. That catalyst is what my movie ideal is based… Aliens meets The Thing. Finally the Alien has found something in the universe it can be afraid of, the result of this reunion, or rebirth, is where our story begins.
The outro of the movie shows a nude male and female standing side by side staring up into the night sky, behind their eyes, you can see a hint of the Alien and the Thing, that will replace the human race. Sadly, the humans and the alien must surrender to their destiny.
I’m a hardcore gamer and aliens fan. I remember Aliens: A Comic Book Adventure, and that game scared me to death, but playing this game, I felt ripped off in both the single player and multiplayer mode. In single player mode, the campaign’s were way to short for the amount of money forked over, and your life expectancy in multiplayer is around 1 to 2 minutes, which took away from the quest for survival. Everything was so fast paced you couldn’t enjoy the scenery.
What would I have done? Check out my website for my version of the game, in which I have created a sort of sandbox mode. Create the universe, add the players, and randomize the universe so that no new game is ever the same. Colonists now play a vital role in keeping colonies functional, and obtaining resources, any one of these planets can have a hive on them. I have introduced a new character to the aliens world called the Elite Colonial Marine, which is basically an android with all the protocol’s removed. These new marines do not tire, do not retreat, do not need to eat, or sleep, and will kill anything that stands in the way of them completing their overall objective. Check out my website for a better overview of my dream for the Alien. I have left out the predator because space lizards never scared me, and I believe they don’t belong in the Aliens universe.
I find that the multiplayer que times are long and boring
Other than that it is really fun to play
They should watch Prometheus and get some ideas from there too.
i have this game and its a 4/10 no offense joe but multiplayer did not work for me.
to make AVP BECOME A 9/10 why not pick the best films Aliens,Alien, pred 1 and 2 and throw in AVP1 now recreate the game around these films u play Ripley in the Alien and Aliens, the pred or Arnie in Pred 1 same in pred 2 Glover or Pred, we all love the films so why mess with something so perfect, just recreate it with detail original sounds and soundtracks great lighting and mix in footage(films), until this happens aliens3 game 2d and arcade pulse rifle Alien game remain my favourites.
Well idk if this problem is only hapenning to me but i just cant find a match on multiplayer! I just stand in there and it never finds a game
I wish I could help you there buddy. I remember playing the demo of this game tho the demo was pretty fun but I noticed some things with the game.
I am having registrations issues, I went to register and never got the activation email, and i cannot login either =[ I would really apreciate some help friends!
Just to let you know, the graphics are easily HD quality when you play it on PC with a stock or Overidden ATI card (I don’t know if Nvidia has any override software, besides Nvidia killed Voodoo with frivolous lawsuits so screw Nvidia). My HD ATI card has 1700mb or so dedicated texture memory which makes the game look and feel very immersive and greatly improves the textures (yes I know the meshes are basically crap but with better texture processing it really helps) and helps induce that paranoid fear as a marine (flashes of Doom 3 & RoE). Oh and using a good video card makes the thing play fast as hell, I average around 60-95 fps even during alien rushes (with zero screen tear if you use VSync on non-native resolutions).
Side Note:
I have read all of the alien and predator and the AvP books/graphic novels up till 2001 or there about (I even have the entire digital comic collection) and I think they did the whole series justice. I do agree that I would like to see some more creativity however they stayed true to cannon and pulled it all off so well I even uninstalled my old AvP game (circa 2000 i think). They even did pretty well on native AI as well (the aliens take advantage of darkness and walls frequently, droids take cover and use rolling fire, and the predators well face it even hearing them makes you want to shit yourself and run for cover backwards while emptying your grenade launcher into everything that moves). Hell just talking about it makes me wanna go play lol.
I agree with you, even though I haven’t played the multiplayer mode. The game is a bit bugged too, and the alien is a little hard to control.
And man, I love you for knowing Austrian Death Machine lml
I’d like to see a Power Loader mission in a sequal. Or perhaps bring back the facehugger gameplay from AVP2. As for how to do an Alien part of the game that does not follow the “escape” “kill” “kill some more” mentality. They could start the game with a Queen Alien founding her new nest, or a facehugger delivering its embryo into some kind of alien on another planet, then the resulting alien becoming a new queen over the game as you hunt human colonists terraforming the planet.
They should make it like the prredator has to earn the different vision mods and wepons and create your own predator. As an alien you start as a drone then after a set number of kills you change untile finally becoming the Queen/Pred-alien. And for the mariens you create your own armor other than that GAME OVER MAN. GAME OVER.
This. By all that is cheesy delicious goodness, This.
Joe u r a awesome/epic gamer
how about playing as a facehugger and then you are in the throat of a human
and have to get to the stomach and burst out like how you play as a chest burster like in avp 2000
A great idea for multiplayer will be having a mode were you can be a alien queen or a predalien and kill everybody killing aliens humans and predators and if you get killed by someone then that person becomes the queen like Juggernaut in halo who ever kills the Juggernaut becomes the juggernaut.
Like in Alien Vs Predator 2?
In AvP2, there was a setting that you could become a queen if you got a certain amount of kills…. good times
I played this game and i love to play like an alien, but it’s maybe to hard to play cause predators and marines can kill you very easily in the online game.
In the next game Alien colonial marines or in a new alien versus predator i will be very happy if i can play all the three spcies without have troubles fighting each other..
A balanced gameplay will be something very good, an of course i would be happy to see the aliens more stronger than what we see in this game.
and more stealth actions, cause if you look online the aliens even when is still continue to move his tail and it’s easy to see.
i hope you understand my english, im’ italian.
(reposting both because I’ve edited the post, added my thoughts on multiplayer, and because I now have a user account)
Hey Joe,
The Alien campaign really needs to be further developed. Clearly the problem is that the Alien campaign presents the most design and gameplay difficulties for developers but I feel that if done properly it could just be a mind blowingly awesome experience.
Here’s some things I think would help improve an Alien campaign
They should focus on stealth with kills being fast and furious. I like how this game allowed you to harvest civilians for impregnation, but they need to take it further. Have it so you can drag off marines screaming and impregnate them- like have your ability to harvest a certain number of armed marines and not civilians be an achievement.
The marines in the Alien campaign also need their AI improved immensely. You should have to really think out how to get them to break up into groups, or rely more on swift hit and run tactics. As is too many levels can be done by simply by killing one guy, the marines huddle up in a group…then wait awhile and they’ll break up again. The marines should tighten up and become increasingly difficult to catch off guard as their numbers dwindle.
Also, I don’t want James Cameron’s depiction of the aliens blindly swarming things (probably my only gripe about Aliens is that departure from the intelligent creature from Alien) but their numbers should be utilized in the Alien campaign. Let you the player direct some of the other drones into a strategy- just any basic commands. Have other drones draw marines attention while you sneak around, get them to cut off a retreat or wait in hiding somewhere- the possibilities are endless!
Thus, to improve any future AVP games I believe the Alien campaign should be more of a bloody strategy game where tactics and puzzle solving is the key to overcoming the obstacles. Make it about the hive, make it about adapting to your environment, and trying to ensure the survival and expansion of your species. Save the killing everything in your path for the Predator campaign.
AVP has always been a great title for multiplayer. I love playing as the marines, but I know lots of people who were AMAZING players for the Aliens in multiplayer. AVP2 I was always freaked out because the great Alien players would always, ALWAYS find a way to get to the marines no matter how coordinated the marine team was. The Alien players were always a threat that you couldn’t easily predict because the maps allowed them so much room to maneuver and exploit the Alien’s abilities.
That isn’t the case in this third entry.
Your video shows the main problem with this AVP’s multiplayer. In the big team matches there are too many places for the marines to hold up and camp out so that it is next to impossible for the Aliens to break their defense. Now, defense should be a primary tactic for marine players, don’t get me wrong, they need to stick together if they want any hope of winning, but this game just has map flaws that give the marines places where if they have a full team NO ONE is going to be able to touch them. Yes, the Alien players can attempt a Zerg-rush tactic and hope they take down, or scatter the marines, but given the Marine player’s firepower there won’t be enough Alien players (due to player number limitations) to make it work unless the marines are terrible shots. When you force the Alien players to think in straight forward tactics instead of outside the box you haven’t designed your maps very well.
So any future AVP title needs to design more multiplayers maps with the Alien players in mind.

maaaaaan…this game was nothing like the first rebbelion classic on PC. You got Aliens and Predators and you go with cyborgs equipedd with predator technology. NO just NO!
It is really hilarious the part with Arnold and get to da choppa. What I like the best is those funny moments in your review. The predator dance is also totally new for me, so I liked it a lot.
I must say, AVP 3 if far greater than AVP 2. But the length pissed me off, it took me barly 3 hours to complete each campaign.
1 you should level up in the story and spend points earned thru level ups kills audio logs found on better weapons skill perks armor and understanding the other speicies better
2 co-op campaign think of a preditor campaign with a friend or fighting to the end in a marine campaign or an alien campaign of taking over an human body picking you tragits (i.g.e. muscle mass , eyes ,brain ect) and then you and a friend are “born” and caused issues for colonist as being the only aliens there
3 there needs to be aliens that are different like one that is still human enough to work weapons vechiles and transalte english into alien , one that when cut or shot so a signifacent part is gone that part forms into a new mirco alien and helps you or better when more are “made” they form one big one that can not be stoped by door, seals or bullets and needs to be hilled with fire or ice
i disagree with you on the whole “Perks” thing but everything else is spot on but with the whole “Perks” thing, the last thing we need is another call of duty
It might be already done, said, or too late for this suggestion, but for the predator campaign have you going and like collecting/hunting humans on their homeworld and like the xenomorphs invade or the predator civil war involved somehow.
Hey here’s an idea. You know beast mode in Gears of War 3? Well what about a similar thing, but with face huggers and stuff like that, the same way you play as a ticker in Go3 beast mode. That would be pretty cool.
I disagree, love AvP and AvP2 but this one is just terrible it suffers form every single shity console port which is; graphic, mouse acceleration, controls, FoV … and multi is horrible, match making and kids screaming in lobby ? jesus
see the stuff from joe playing as marine? Think it this way: your playing as alien but all the marines are camping in one spot so that evrytime someone tries to do something they can just kill evryone by camping, does it NOT piss you off? It pisses the hell out of me when people camp is just awesome game
Heheh hectic song “Get to the chopper” never heard it before, great review as always…
I know this is a little too late for suggestions but something like where you are a human who somehow morphs with a alien and can hyper evolve to adapt to situations and give you a choice between fighting to destroy humans or with them.
just realized they already did that with prototype
