MW1 and MW2 were both great games i enjoyed but the fact of the matter is BFBC2 has far more to offer. Examples: tanks, choppers, and other ground vehicles u can actually fully operate. Better kits with more tools at your disposal for more versatile ways to dispatch your enemies. More team oriented gameplay. I get sick and tired of morans who dont know how to coordinate as a team in MW. In case u never notice its usually always one guy who rips thru everyone else. (obviously using some kind of mod or gets “boosted” so he can get a nuke) idk y people do that. maybe because they feel they have to make up for their small penis and pathetic life.

bad company has much better characters, they actually developed them, instead of just being like oh yer, this dude is in charge now stfu and do exactly what he says, the characters in bad company actually feel like human beings, not just a couple of pixels with a funny haircut and a wierd mask (ghost and soap), if sweets, haggard or sarge died, i would actually be bothered, but when ghost and roach got shot in the face and raped by shadow company and shepard, i actually laughed, they were pathetic and it did the series good to kill them, thnx shepard
and theres loads of these shitty ass little clans, like this one, SC (shadow company), who think theyre so great, but they suck, and all thier member are wierdos that take this shitty little game far too seriously

cod4 was so much better, they actually balanced the weapons instead of having some shitty scar, with its 2 shot kills, and no recoil, sure, the g36 was probably the games best weapon, but the high damage was balanced low fire rate, then they take it out, and replace it with weapons that are all so much more over powered, and have absolutely no downsides

The only thing is the grenade launcher and prone, I miss….apart from that, Bad Comapny wins, by MILES. You will only disagree if you are a fanboy. Better graphics, better gameplay, better/more realistic weapons. Also, the characters own. You can’t help but love those guys! It helps you can see and hear all of them! (Including Preston). So much funnier, even though it’s more serious.
At least no prone stops dropshooting pricks lol. Gravity and time delay for sniping makes it more satisfying to land a hit.

mw2 sucks, theres no skill to it, grenade launchers make it so easy to get multi kills, and the rpgs are stupid, the environments looks stupid and look like plastic, no vehicles sucks (and i dont mean like the shitty WaW vehicles which took like 10 rockets to take down), and the destruction kills are probably the best thing thats ever been in a video game, also there are too many wankers in cod6 that take it far to seriously, and think that their K/D ratio is the only thing that ever matters, and the burst fire weapons suck, all those little drop shotting ass holes with their famas, also, scavanger is a shitty perk, you wouldnt stand on a battlefield and ignore ammo just coz it wasnt in some stupid crappy little blue bag.

guys, ive got both and played both. you cant even compare the two. mw2 was fun for a long time. then i bought bc2. i was blows away! i was shocked at the distruction in the game. its just awsome! bad company 2 thrashes mw2. you cant even compare it. people say that its at its level but its not even on the same scale. bc2 is better, way more fun and overall the winner. mw2 just sucks now.

Well i seen the review of BF:BC2 and its a great review.
I only played like half of the story on single player. Because i jump into the multiplayer since i purchased the game like a couple of weeks ago.
I played on PS3 and none of my friends has this game, everyone still plays MW2.
Its dificult to convince them that this is a great game not perfect but great.
Being capable of destroying the everiment is fantastic, adapt your weapon every turn, adjust the sight of the sniper when the enemy is to far, thats all great.
The thing i dont like is when we play rush and your squad ignores the objetives and don’t disarm the bombs. And you are getting kill everytime trying to do it.
Its a great game but i dont like to compare this game to the MW2. I played both and like them alot.

i dont agree with you pal because i think that modern warfare 2 has better graphics quality in addition to that it is optimized to run on core 2 duo processors but bb2 doesnt depend on gpu speed but on cpu speed which is ridicilous.I like both games but if i were to choose i will choose mw2 for the great visual quality and gaming experience that ows bad company 2 …

This is my perspective on the two games:
I own both games (and thier pre-quils) and have made significant headway into both SP and MP.
I’ll start with SP:
MW2 had a nice singleplayer with plenty of action. I thought it was extremely fun and I liked most of the characters. Sadly, some of the characters were not well developed, and I didn’t realy care when they died. Furthermore, with the over the top # of scripted scenes, and tight, linear maps, the game seemed to lack re-playability. Finally, the action seemed a little too much like a Micheal bay movie and there was no time to think over the plot, strategize, or even take a breather.
The Bad Company 2 campaign was much different. It wasn’t nearly as fast or as intense but it was a LOT of fun. Part of this came from how open the battlegrounds were. I was assaulting an enemy base in one level and realized that I had over 20 points of entry, some stealthy, some with lots of cover, some with high ground. And, when the action heats up, u feel like everything is a result of your actions, instead of feeling like the same situation will play out every time. Also, the characters are so well done, u feel like they’re other players sometimes. However, the game does have it’s shortcomings, the occasional corpse no-clipping through a wall can brake the “real life effect” the game gives off, and the plot is a little simplistic but still has plenty of suprises. Finaly, while the game has a little bit of everything, sometimes a gratuitus “I’m using the mini-gun on the helicopter while the NPC drives” parts feel like gimics to keep u interested.

I connot compare the two fairly, MW2 is about cqb and having a faster trigger finger. Bfbc2 is about open warfare and startegy+communication.
Anyway, I’ll let u all decide which is better. Personally, I prefer bfbc2 but I tried to keep this unbiased.

first of all i bought both games (BC2 & MW2) for single player campaign, not for online use (i have got AVP for that), so i will form my opinion on that aspect of the game,
they both are very good games,
story: both have very stupid storyline, in MW it is less stupid thou
characters: i say its even – like Soap and Price just as much as BC heros,
sound: BC is superior to MW in that aspect, love echos from firing for example,
graphics and such: very good in both, but very diffrent MW is running much smoother on my PC, but again in BC we got destructible everything, maybe this is the case, BC is looking little worse to me also (and that fog, dust and blinding light reflections are overdone, and graphic settings lack of options to adjust them – it is a real pain).
and we can forget about that all becoze we come to a gameplay and fun factor.
MW is a solid fun experience to me, BC is good to, but i had strange feeling of deja-vu,
i felt a little embarasing to feel that way, it is a fps for crying out loud, of course it is repetetive… but when those desert levels begin, it occoured to me why i felt like that.
FarCry2 anyone? it feels almost like the same game, only FarCry2 is better becoze of the open enviroment… sigh, so is it good when i played the game i thought of a diffrent one, and even more, better one… i didnt had that feeling when i was playing MW.
verdict: for me MW is better, for single player experience that is,
for multiplayer, i dont know

ok….. MW2 is probably the best online mulitplayer ever… In my opinion.. BF series was always better than COD..but not this time… MW2 has a very fluid and simple screen and the gunplay is incomparable…. MW2 keeps the award 4 gunplay.. I mean I really feel like im killing someone in MW2 (maybe its that sound u hear when u pop someone).. but thats all it really is.. a shooting game.. (and probably the best one)- with that said- one cannot play BFBC2 the way u plau MW2- its a very different game and u have to play differently and expect a different experience- its a bigger map–you have to use the vehicles… u can atually hide in a bush if your a sniper and NOT be seen which is very realistic and cool…. The sniper gamepaly is cool.. some of the maps are AWESOME! u walk around in this dense jungle in LAGUNA with little marshes in which in go in chest deep… I had some great moments playing the game today… I knifed 13 snipers and u get 2 keep their dogtags forever (how embarrising)
so… BFBC2 is not better than MW2….. but its just as good…. dont compare two games because we got so used to MW2 that its hard 2 change… I’m having this problem.. just enjoy battlefield.. rank up soem guns.. do some strategy.. give it a chance to work…
When I want close qurters gunplay- paranoia– always havin 2 look ovr shoulder– I play MW2- When I want to have fun and try differnent stuff i play MW2- both games must be owned and played

I respectfully disagree with your opinion. I’am not in anyway saying you are wrong, just that i disagree. In MW2 I don’t feel like I’am killing people because it is so unrealistic. I don’t know if you know someone who can run for an infinite amount of time, or knife someone from a ridiculous distance, etc. My experience wit BFBC2 so far is literally “shitting orgasms out my eyes”. The visual are stunning, the audio is amazing, the story is awesome, and despite the more serious tone the comedy is back (gotta love Hagard and Flynn). I personally find MW2 online extremely disappointing, as is the story and the “coop”! But thats just my opinion.

Gotta say I agree, Bought MW2 and just didnt enjoy it. Thought it was because I was getting old and thought my days of gaming were coming to an end, (perish the thought)… then someone recommends BC2 and me and my kid are arguing over who goes on it next. The Graphics are stunnung as well as the sound its so exciting and fun, character AI could be better… havent gone online yet but cant wait!!! MW2 lost the plot crap guns and just boring i kill two, i die, respawn get shot, kill a few more… its boring and team work is a joke. Im thinking about trading it in im that impressed with BC2. IMW2 bored and irritated and put me in a bad mood, loved the first but after playing this I will never settle again for a game with no vehicles in it …never not question the hype ..and above all else question my age again!!:) If I aint having fun I aint got the right game!!!!

Pc player. MW1 was cool and very fun and did what it did well.
MW2 was the single most overrated piece of shit gaming experience i have ever wasted any money on. Shame on you infinity ward, i hope you all get sent to prizon and are raped repeatedly. My single greatest regret for 2009 was spending money on that game and becoming a statistic that added to its success. that said the spec ops on xbox gave me and my guitarist an awesome couple weeks but we quickly went back to nazi zombies once it was conquored.
BC2 looks to be exactly what i (and from what iv seen every single other pc gamer) have been waiting for. A next gen game that actually looks half decent, innovates and pushes the genre foreward while delivering the much loved and missed gameplay that has faded out since bf2 went cold.
ALSO i feel like a retard for acutally being excited about something as standard and otherwise unnoticable as dedicated servers. Whoever decided to bring peer-match player-player gaming onto PC’s is as big of a fagget as the dickhead that brought HIV to the European population.

dude i got to say, i love the first Bad Company game. i have it on the PS3 and am dieing to play the next one. as for MW2, i didn’t like the game. i thought it was way over rated. but that just might be because i don’t like CoD game at all. i mean a game where you only stand a chance if you are at a servant level is kind of stupid. i played MW2 against a friend and he kick my ass because i couldn’t use a good gun. something about me having to be at level ten just to use the M4′s grenade launcher turned me off instantly. but maybe that’s because i can remember a time when playing a game didn’t mean your were at a disadvantage just because you weren’t at the right level. no i only lost because the guy was better then me.

I’m a MW 1 fan. But I don’t buy the MW 2. Why? Because the heart-beat monitor. That is a really dumb item in the game. I just watched the walktrough and that’s it.

I personally find the heartbeat sensor useless, plus none really uses it. And yes it is dumb.Also the perks are mostly stupid too. Like who can run for an unlimited period of time, who can knife someone who is 4-5′ away with a approx. 5″ combat knife, etc.

To all of you questioning about the heartbeat monitor…there is a 3rd perk called ninja. It makes you invisible on the monitor:)

The perk ninja is useless until you get it pro. Like I said no one really uses the heartbeat monitor, not saying that people don’t just not that many. But ninja is only useful if you get it pro because then you become silent, which still won’t really help you against Sit Rep pro, probably the hardest of all perks to get pro’d but the best.
