Final Fight! Review

Short Version: Final Fight: Double Impact packaged with Magic Sword is a great deal on Xbox live! Sure its a mindless button masher but with couch co-op, online drop-in co-op, updated visuals, remastered soundtrack and some added unlockables this is a great game to pass the time until your next heavy title!
The Video Review:
What you’ll Like:
• Simulates the Arcade Experience very well in both visuals and co-operative play.
• Great Value for only 800 microsoft points.
• Magic Sword is a Blast (more fun than Final Fight).
What you’ll Hate:
• No Pause during default game options or when playing online.
• Cheap Arcade AI designed to suck all the quarters out of you it can.
• Unlimited Continues takes some of the tension out of the game.
Final Verdict:
8/10
Safe Buy

The following time I learn a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I do know it was my choice to learn, but I really thought youd have one thing attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you can fix for those who werent too busy looking for attention.

Awesome review!
Does anybody know the artist and name of the song at 0:18 (played when Joe shows his “epic ‘stache”)???
Thanks!

Lovely review! And beating me up in the car battle.
But I enjoyed the lil bits with Chris! Pretty funny and I like old school button-mashers from timetotime. Brings back good memories.

I didn’t know your mustache had so much power, Joe. Now I feel like I should fear it. It might leap off of your face and murder people.

And we take the risk by watching him…. WEE!

Basically 5$ a piece for 2 arcade classics. Can’t beat that.

I remember playing Final Fight on the SNES when I was younger…good times…though because I am a pansy, I never got past the second level.

Joe, you made it again. A fantastic review, on a fantastic game.
is there any possible way…that you could tell how you edit your videos, if it’s not too much to ask for? Thanks!

The first 2 minutes are PURE epicness! I irl LMAOed when he started eating turkey legs and spinning like Zangief xD
Report this comment
Agreed, although just to be nitpicky, Zangief spins LIKE HAGGAR! Haggar came first – ‘Gief “borrowed” his moves. In fact sad to say it, Gief is the main reason Haggar never appeared in any other games (other than Muscle Bomber/Saturday Night Slammasters and the cancelled Capcom Fighting All Stars)

Might just have to buy this Just for Magic Swords.

I thought it looked more like Sgt. Slaughter from classic WWF, and Oh my god did I just see Angry Joe’s “O Face”?? (02:20) Great review as always.

He has a sexy O-Face, doesn’t he?

Magic Sword is one of my favorite games! I will definitely be getting this one. It’s one of like, three SNES games that I still break out to play on a regular basis.

Another nice vid =]. As for the game, I agree the difficulty is hard, but dam when you beat the game your like hell yea.

That video was madness Joe. MADNESS!
Without unlimited continues, the game might be too hard for most gamers to beat, but in an arcade you would just pump quarters into the machine anyway. Pretend those 10 bucks you spent were all the quarters you were gonna put in the machine.
Awesome review as always joe!
