Red Dead Redemption Review
The Short Version: Red Dead Redemption earns every bit of its distinction as our first “10/10″ game. Not only is it easily the best western video game of all time but its also the definitive sandbox experience. From the get-go it completely immersing you with amazing visuals, engaging missions, and a plethora of side-activities – The single player is worth the price of admission alone but also offering a full quite of competitive online modes as well as 16-player co-operative “free roam” makes this game a Legend!

What you’ll Like:
• Extremely High Production Values, Graphics, Voice Acting and Storyline.
• Near Flawless Animations (Especially for the Horses)
• Some of the Side Missions are really intriguing.
• Great Variety of Locations (I was worried by its 1910 setting, but I was wrong – its a strength!)
• Dragging people by Lasso through town.
• Each mini-game is incredibly fun and extremely thematic.
• 16-Player Co-operative Free Roam.
What you’ll Hate:
• Game suffers from the occasional glitches and bugs. (but they are funny!)
• Why cant we play the damn mini-games in Multiplayer? (Poker, Blackjack, Liars Dice, Arm Wrestling, etc.)
• When it Ends =(

Great reviews Joe! This is one of my favorite games ever. Those Eastwood westerns were the best and this game really gives you a chance to visit that world. Roaming around and exploring, there’s no telling what will come up next. For instance I rode up upon a guy crying over his dead wife, couldn’t do anything for him. As I rode away there was a gunshot, he couldn’t take the grief. Little moments like that really catch you off guard. 10/10 no doubt about it. I just wished RDR2 was coming out for the PS3 instead of PS4. I’d rather have that and let GTAV hit the PS4 but oh well.
i would give this 10/10 and I HAVE NOT EVEN TOUCHED THE SINGLE PLAYER BECAUSE I HAVE TO MUCH FUN ON THE MULTIPLAYER (Iknow i should play single player im an idiot for not doing it).

I know this has been mentioned more than once, but I do feel like we (PC players) have been robbed of enjoying a great title. To those of you who claim that they didn’t release it because of pirating issues I can only say STFU. People will always find a way to pirate things on any platform, but most people don’t. The few who do, why would a company care? They wouldn’t have made money off them anyway. But for the majority of people out there who could be giving them our money, we can’t. Apart from anything else the modding aspect and GPU power (take IcEnhancer for GTA4) gives games on PC such a higher replay value than on any console. If you want to see it on PC, please go here and sign the petition, it might help bring us closer to that goal.

Why?So you can download a pirate copy of it?If you want to play the game buy a console like i did and then buy the game.

I just saw a video of yours yesterday and ill say not only are these reviews helpful and cover pretty much all aspects, but shit your freakin funny as hell man! It doesn’t matter that another Red Dead is coming out because John Martson was the greatest lead character Rockstar has ever come up with and he is one of the main reasons I still RDR till this day and I DID NOT like playing as his son at all.

Dude, there is a think called Liars and Cheats pack or something, witch allows you to play Liars Dice, blackjack etc online. Just saying.

Actualy I’m planing on buying a Xbox360, but I’m worried if I buy the Xbox360 and for 2 or 3 months I’ll get tired of RDR.

I wish I could play it but game of the year edition freezes in the xbox slim and can only play story mode but the undead nightmare disc freezes and I will not buy the dlc separately.

They did not come out with a PC version of the game they refused to release one on PC. Probably because they spent so much money and time on it and didn’t want it pirated.
Might want to update the platform information on this. Even though I’ve already played and beaten this game and expansions on console, was curious to see the Angry Joe review, and despite Rockstar coming out and absolutely refusing to release RDR on PC, I saw “PC” under platforms and got my hopes up they changed their minds, but that wasn’t to be. So before anybody else starts thinking it’s going to PC (which is a rather large controversy), you might want to update that.
RDR is easily one of the best games of all times, but the fact Rockstar won’t release it on PC (MODS baby, MODS) is a real dick move on their part.
