Top 5 Reasons Why Red Dead Redemption Will Kick Ass!
Red Dead Redemption not only has the ingredients to be the best Western Video game of all-time but quite possibly has what it takes to be the best Open-world Sandbox game ever created! Rockstar Games are putting a massive effort into a setting (the wild west) that is seldom seen. I just hope that people who may not like westerns can see that this title offers something for everyone!
What Hypes Me Up
+ Vast Open Wild West with 3 Distinct Regions each bigger that GTA’s Liberty City!
+ Randomized procedural events in the frontier keep the game fresh and exciting.
+ Earn enough Infamy to have posses form to come hunt you down!
+ The Insane amount of Fun Side Activities.
+ Many Multiplayer Modes, including 16 player Co-operative through the singleplayer world as well as competitive modes.
+ Progress through multiplayer earning Xp and unlock better equipment and weapons.
What Could Suck
- Cant create a Custom Character from Scratch – instead you are John Marston.
- Cant initiate duels with anyone I damn well please – like that old hag up the street that tells me to turn down my radio.

Already preordered the limited edition for ps3. Great Review and without doubt one of your best so far. You Sir have had a really amazing development since you’ve joined forces with tgwtg.com. I remember some of your first reviews and they were…well not that good ompared to what you pull out now. I have to take my hat off to you. Really well done. You have to do a play-day with Red Dead Redemption! Record some footage play with ppl online in free roam mode and let your voicechat be recorded as well. That would be awesome. And as far as i know you ARE awesome. So it fits. Think about it

The game does look pretty good, and it is by Rockstar. However I will wait to see what Angry Joe has to say about the game come review time.
That’s why i love Joe. He can get me excited for a game that i am already excited for. Hopefully this will be the best western yet even though i do love Red Dead Revolver, Gun and Cal Of Juarez 2.

Yup this game is gonna be soooo epic !!
You can litterally do anything, and i sure know i’m gonna play as a badass renegade looting and killing people, raiding towns after towns on horses with your crew, having a huge reward on your head because of the massacre you caused, ’cause that’s way of playing YEAAH !!
And yes finally an awesome game in the western universe !
I’m really looking forward to the multiplayer part, and rumors go that there maybe gonna do a PC version of the game…. HELL YEAH CAN’T FUC***N’ WAIT !!
Thank god we got our Rockstar heroes for doing badass games like Gta series and this one, love you dudes !

I am so pumped up for this game. When I was a child my dad looked western movies so often it still hangs in my mind. I did not liked them back then, but I like them now even more. The “dollar” box set is a good Ideo *surfs to amazon*
After this review i am even more exicted to get my hand on this game, unfortunatly earliest is the 27th of may for me, which sucks, but at least i got 2 days off at this time. This game sounds huuuuuuuge.

I was skeptical after hearing the reports of the problems the game may, or may not, have had during the development of the game.
But after seeing trailers, reading previews and watching gameplay videos, I refuse to believe that this game will be lackluster.
Can’t wait to play this game. I really hope we can have the army team up to take on other groups. I wonder how much customization our online character are going to have. Maybe we can have a team uniform, all of us have to have some scruff and a black shirt.
I too would really like to see more outtakes from this one.
It certainly looks good, I know that I plan to check it out. There was another Old West based game recently, though it was small and basically a multiplayer team based shooter. Called Lead and Gold, I haven’t played it yet myself though may at some point when my finances are more in order. But if anyone does want to check that out I’ll post a link here to the Steam page for it.

While everything looks pretty good to me, there is one thing which makes me a bit leery… and that’s the voice-acting. From what I’ve heard in the trailers, I’m a bit worried that the various exaggerated accents will be grating and annoy me all to heck. Or maybe they’ll grow on me over time… I dunno. Still, I think I’ll wait until I see Let’s Plays or extended gameplay videos before I officially decide one way or another.
Y’know what? FUCK IT! I won’t let some irritating accents get the better of me and rob me of an excellent game! I’m getting it anyway!
There is a 30 minute video at game trailers.com where they talk to the people at Rockstar, show alot of gameplay and show a full cutscene and I don’t think there is any doubt, based on that scene, that the voice-acting is some of the best out there but I hear that’s common with Rockstar games.

I am not usually one for “serious” westerns. My favorite is Blazing Saddles…
But this game looks really amazing and could keep me amused for a while. I will have to see about renting it at the very least, if not just buying.
I love all rockstar games I just bought GTA IV for 7.50$ on steam and god why won’t they release Red Dead Redemption on PC. I hope it’s at lest going to be like Assassin’s creed 2 and only takes a few month for them to release it on PC.

Im so glad I stayed up for this! I didnt give this game a second thought, but after seeing this, OMG Joe you did it. You changed my mind on this one! Personal I love westerns, but the games fall FAR short of what I exspect, hopefully a new leaf is turned with this one. Thanks Joe for opening my eyes. I owe ya.
