Am I the only one who thinks that there doesn’t seem to be that big of a technology gap between the old republic and the star wars film. for a 3 thousand year time skip, nothing seems to change as far as costumes of even weapons.
It looks awesome, but this game could have been put anywhere in the SW timeline.
in a word EPIC!!!! that is why i always have a double ended lightsaber FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!
(although i support the jedi, its so i can fight against joe and find out just how powerful he really is!!!)
I can not wait, and sith FTW!! It would be kind of cool if the sith could actually win, though I have a feeling it will be a never ending battle just like all other Good Guys Bad Guys MMO, ex: Shaiya. No side will ever win…
Still if there is a good storyline this game could kickass.

Great trailer, but I was really hoping that they were going to release some actual gameplay footage. I can only take so many of these epic CGI trailers before I go crazy from the lack of actual gameplay.
Oh, and I’m Dark Side all the way. Its obvious that in the storyline of the game the Sith don’t win (otherwise there wouldn’t be a Republic thousands of years later, now would there?), but it’ll be fun kicking the shit out of the Republic before they gain the upper hand.

An entire army of Joe Sith sounds like a party. Between that and the player ships that we caught glimpses of, I can’t wait for more info.

Well A_nija this game will be PC exclusive so I don’t think it is a good idea to buy an Xbox 360 or PS3 for this game.

As much as I’ll receive hate over this, I have to say that I’ll play both sides. However, my ultimate loyalty will be to the Sith Empire, as a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter. Those Jetii and their di’kutla akaan’ade will not stand a chance.

It took a jedi consular and a Republic trooper, to defeat one Sith Lord, but he still managed to survive.
And for that failure, Lord Malgus goes on to destroy the jedi temple and kill many jedi in the process.
In the end the sith will crush the republic and destroy the jedi with the full power of the dark side of the force.

I think I just watched “Band of Brothers, 300, and DBZ/SF2 all in one trailer” which is badass! That chick with the saber staff alone was both king Leonidas and Goku / Ryu. The slow motion dismembering of robot body parts. The Haduken / kamehameha she did to the sith dude after she force pushed him into the tree.

Man! This game looks and sounds awesome. I heard about the player ships. Every player gets a personal ship and you can buy and modify different ships!! Very very nice!

I agree, i hate having to choose either light or dark, cause i consider myself right in the middle. I guess i can only hope for a middle ground in this game. not likely though
From what I’ve heard the bounty hunter(for dark)/smuggler(for light) is kind of “in the middle” story wise.
But since it’s an mmo there has to be a distinct “difference” between the two sides of the battle, in this case it’s Light and Dark side of the force. In case of WoW it’s Alliance (spits) and Chaos. Aion has also has kind of the “light/dark” feel to it.
You don’t have to choose a “side”. they have different classes, and those classes choose your side, you can be a bounty hunter, or a smuggler, loads of things, it is really amazing.
It has been said by BW multiple times that you can play as a “Dark Jedi” or a “Light Sith” but you will always be on the same faction, its based on decisions
We of the Republic shall cast down Angry Joe’s evil Empire and kick those meddlesome Sith back to the unknown regions where they came from!

I just wish that there was some kind of neutral faction of Force Users & Lightsabers Wielders. I don’t like either the “We serve the force” Jedis, nor the “The force serves us” Siths.
