Spec Ops: The Line – Is it More than just “That Game in the Sand”?
Angry Joe asks Cory Davis a few questions regarding the upcoming Spec Ops military shooter. What else will it provide other than the unique sand mechanic?
So what do you guys think?
Did he answer the questions to your satisfaction? Are you interested in Spec Ops: The Line?

Nice post. I was checking constantly this blog and I am impressed! Very helpful information specifically the last part
I care for such info a lot. I was looking for this certain info for a very long time. Thank you and best of luck.
I’ve played a few spec ops games here and there but this one ( if everything goes right for the game)
could be the best out of the whole series.
I hope this one will turn out great as the developer is saying, but if not I will be extremly pissed OFF!
This looks like my type of game , dark and gritty story? Yummy ^^
I’m really excited for this one:D
That sounds very impressive o 3 o
Sounds great! Thnx angryJoe!
Wow, a shooter that actually have story ?
Awesome
Good interview Joe.
This game looks badass! The exploration of the grey area in this game feels like a breath of fresh air from the black and white Campains for other games. also the art looks awesome. I really look foward to Spec Ops: The Line when it hits stores.
hmmm sounds promising.
and it has coop!!
plus i think if it will be as good as they say it wil destroy BCBF2.
@rip… STFU the world doesn’t revolve around COD
i wonder how many times i’ll need to empty my shoes of sand before the game is over
Just another random shooter, nothing to see. Walk on
Once again, this whole broadcast has been brought to you by SAND! It’s everywhere! Get used to it!
…wonder how many of you will get the reference.
Ha! I love that movie. I was in the play production of the first of the trilogy.
“Oh look the crowd is parting! Who’s coming up next? It’s MOSES!”
I got it. I think.
I remember the original back on PlayStation.
It was quite fun until i got up to 1 level where i completed my objectives and that was it…
No end of level, no more objectives, it just left me there!
After trying it several times i couldn’t be fucked anymore and gave up.
Basicly what i´m saying is i hope this 1 is better.
do you think its called spec ops so mothers, fathers, grandma’s and grandpa’s will buy this game because they overheard theyre kid, grandchild mentioning a game they want called something with ops. when in reality they wanted black ops? or is that just me..
No. Checked the release date, comes out 2011.
ok ok! how about this!! they heard the hype black ops got and they knew they could sell on pure hype as long as they made another game that had ops in it! And people will think its a prequal or a sequal OR SOMETHING!!! …
