They are bringing in the experts to properly convert the Star Wars movies in 3D , Its going to be an extremely slow process to make sure the movies come out in good 3D. So no half fasting it when it comes to Star Wars . We all know how people hate conversion and Hollywood is starting to get the message load and clear, as per them deciding not to Convert Harry potter into 3D because of the mass hatred towards converted 3D . so they have decided to take the extra time needed and have the right people make sure the Star Wars Saga looks perfect in 3D before releasing it to the public.

well hopefully the 3DS will change the opinions about 3-D. I want to see nintendo get on borad into making a Zeldia: Orcarena of Time movie video game with Excellent actors and Amazing Directors that can turn the tide of video game movies into someting extrodenary. I would wait until the 3DS is pulled off and made Zelda into a 3D movie (hopefully without glasses) and revolutionize film making.

i havent seen the old star wars films in years and I dont have a problem with one re realease so they can move to dvd format and because to me if I ever got around to watching them then its still star wars to me, but this 3d crap is starting to piss me off and am hoping that this is canncelled due to the creator of the films finally thinking this is stupid and should just leave star wars alone.
$15 in 2012? Here in New York, it’s already $17 for a 3-D ticket.

Joe I just wanted to say I promise you on the blood of all great video games ever made that I will not be watching these cash in films. I loved Star Wars the Original Trilogy but frankly after the Shit Fest that was Phantom Menace and the remakes I have no desire to ever EVER shell out money for those films again.
On top of that any film that has been released in 3D have been relegated to if its on a free station I may watch it films. (This includes my beloved Resident Evil Series the BASTARDS).
So do not be in dismay … you have viewers that agree whole heartedly with you and will vote with their wallets.

As for the issues pointed out in the video, I really hate 3D movies and see no point in adding 3D to movies, but that’s mainly because of a bad experience I had when I was younger at an amusement park. I’m not going to see the Star Wars movies; they never really caught my interest. That new Star Wars game looks and sounds kind of interesting though…

If someone doesn’t speak out against these crappy 3D movies, within the next decade you’ll start to see theaters filled with horrible 3D only movies, no more 2D, none, gone forever. Do we want to waste extra money on these corporate shits? They are making extra money by making us suffer for it. If you think that 3D’s cater to younger audiences, then where do you think they get the money from to watch these movies? I’d rather watch this video 6 times than going to the theaters to watch all 6 3D star wars movie.
I have to say I was really incredibly annoyed by Joe in this segment. If you hate 3D and the prequels so much, don’t go see it. The end. There is absolutely no need to shout and act hysterical like a spoiled little boy, which is how this video comes across. It’s embarrassing to watch, really. I do like 3D when it’s well done, which isn’t too often unfortunately, but I trust GL to do it right. And I also like the Star Wars prequels, which is not something I feel at all a need to apologize for. So, yeah, I will go watch this. With pleasure. And I couldn’t care less what Joe or anyone else is going to do but I could do without all the hysterics and childish ranting. I’m sorry Joe, on the whole I do like your show. Much as I hate to say it, I’m probably going to see The Empire Strikes Back in 3D, solely on the fact that when they did the Special Edition stuff in theaters, Empire was the only one I missed. I know that I’m just giving George Lucas money, but I really don’t give a shit. It’s a great film.
I can proudly say I wont go and see them. Got all the movies at home, the old ones that is. Im quite content with them. 3D wont make them better and I refuse to put out on such an obvious cash in.
Shit, I thought 3D was already past it’s peak for this time around and would be over by 2012. Just let it die, it’ll be back in another 30 years anyway.
Frankly I doubt even Star Wars will be able to stretch it out anywhere near 2017, especially since it still needs the glasses, and causes physical pain to look at for many people (myself included).

I really miss the old original stars, and I’m not talking about George Luca’s the original starts with digital improvements, George should of stick with more of Luke Skywalker, and not so much of Anakin.
Please don’t get me wrong about Darth Vader, to me, he was more a of Awesome Villain in the original’s, where in the prequel’s, he is a cry baby, I thought when I saw those prequel’s I was suppose to him as a hero, and then tragically turn to the dark side?
Well there was a cartoon version which was awesome, but come on, I wanted to see live action.
There was also a CGI version, but it came in a year or more later after The Revenge of The Sith, and the CGI wasn’t all that impressive, like Joe said: George needs to contact Blur Studios, so he would at least have a better chance, at making a star wars CGI.
Angry Joe said it really well on both Star Wars, and the 3D, 3D is neat, but a person shouldn’t be making such a big deal about it.
Man when will the 3D insanity end? I hate 3D full length films with a passion. 3D should stick to those 20 minute rides in amusement parks! Where they best thrive.

I don’t hate 3D. In fact, I think it’s a great technological advancement,and if enough people jump on the bandwagon, 3D technologies could easily improve as long as there’s enough interest for it. You could be watching 3D movies without glasses in just a few years, maybe sooner. It’s sci fi, it’s awesome.
What I don’t look forward to is seeing my favourite trilogy filled with an all new orgy of CGI effects to make the movies 3D. Ewoks in 3D! AAAAH!

In my personal opinion, why see a movie that you’d all ready seen in theaters again? I mean, come on,
we all should know the story by now, and for those of you who hasn’t seen them in theaters, you still got the dvd’s and vhs.
I’m not afraid to admit it, but I like 3D, to me, if done right, it can play a important role, that goes with CGI too,not every movie should be in 3D, I mean not all the way through, it really depends on the idea in the movie, and if the movie has a important part for it, but the most important thing for a movie to have, it’s gotta have a heart, a original idea, ether a good or a great story, recognizable characters, a interesting plot, some action to wake up once in a while, a good sense of humor to enjoy with friends and family, and the special effects, the special effects should be in a action scene, and only once in awhile, special effects are only one part of the movie, not the whole movie, or at least it shouldn’t be, that goes with all movies.
Plus, some people already have 3D tv’s out there, the company samsung already has one, from $1600, to around $3000, Samsung’s 3D tv, also has it set so you can turn the 3D effect on or off, you can even play any type of movies, or video games, it’s nice to have a on and off setting for it, but you do need to buy the 3D Glasses.
But should you really pay for it that much? I wouldn’t, at least not until they come out with a tv using 3D, and with out the 3D Glasses, which some people are already making, and from what I gather when it comes out, it’s going to have some of the same functions as the models that some people have now, that includes the feature that the 3D can be turn on, or off with a remote control, it makes the part more special and more fun to use, example: If I own a 3D movie tv that doesn’t need the 3D Glasses, you put in a standard classic movie like Gettysburg, you’ll see the 3D cannon balls flying at you, and when it comes to talking, you can turn off that feature until you want to see a scene in 3D, you can even skip the part that you don’t want to watch with or without being in 3D, you don’t need to buy a special movie, it’s all built into the tv, and maybe some in a recorder that comes with the tv.
By the way it sounds, I might not need to go to the theaters, I’d already paid my money for a theater in my room.
This, is, fucking, stupid. I loved the first three movies, each had an incredibly memorable moment for me. The first was the Death Star battle. The Second the Battle on Hoth, and the show down between Luke and his father. The third when the battle on endor, the space battle outside the death star, and the final showdown were all happening at once. I Bloody loved the climax of the third movie.
The phantom menace, yes the pod race and light saber duel were good. But the duel seemed more like a dance. I can live with it. The second movie I did like the Clone vs Droids battle, but is shit is comparison to the Hoth battle. In the third movie…. the jedi genocide, and wookie vs droids stood out to me, that and the showdown with anakin and obi. Again it is shit compared to the Third movie’s climax.
I can live with 1 ll and 3. The only thing I won’t defend is Anakin’s most horribly fake looking love story, and what I felt was, a half ass fall to evil. I understand wanting to make money, but using the SAME THING over and over and FUCKING over to make money is what makes me sick, and now he is stretching it out over YEAR?! I personally don’t like 3d, and I only go to the movies when my friends do, and that is next to never, I won’t see these movies, I feel bad for the bastards who do. I won’t spit on people who see this movie, it IS still star wars. Personally I retreat into the past with the Old Republic, I can’t wait for the mmo, for the story at least if nothing else.
Fans of the original trilogy should boycott the movies as they come out.

First off, I wanna say that what Gorge Lucas is doing here is complete buullshit. I’m not talking about just adding 3D to the films, that was inevitable. The thing i’m pissed about is the fact that he’s realesing them a YEAR apart from eachoother. Thats overkill. In my opion he should have done them a trilogy at a time. or not in theaters at all.
But heres what im really angry about. EVERYONE HATING ON 3D. 3D is a good thing but everyone says they dont want any more of it… Why not? Your not paying extra on the ticket price to see it in 3D.
And if you really don’t like watching it in 3D then there’s almost always a 2D showing alswell. So if you don’t like 3D, then go see your movies in 2D. If you Don’t like star wars being re-realesed in 3D, then complian about that, not 3D.
Finaly, i’de like to comment on everyone saying that the new 3 star wars movies suck. There not that bad!!!! well the first one is, but the other 2 aren’t. The first was just anoying, but it had some cool parts. the pod race was kinda cool and the final lightsaber duel with Darth Maul is my secound favorite in all the star wars movies. As for the secound movie, the story was pretty good, but the delivery didn’t do it justice. plus the first aperence of the clone army tearing down the droids was epic. and no one can deniy seeing yoda fight forr the first time was jaw dropping. Finaly, the third movie was amazing. It hhad a pretty good story backed by some solid acting. But it thrives off the action scenes. The opening space battle was easily the best in the entire series. this along with four asome duels, including, in my opiinion, the best in the series (anikan vs. Obi-won). but all this action could easily spoil the story, luckily it dosn’t by having just enough breaks inbetween action scenes. In my opinion, the 3rd movie deserves the credit that is given to the original 3.
Actually it cost 3 extra dollars to see a movie in 3D. Most of the time its not worth it.

The internet, as someone I know very recently said, “skews geek”. By which I mean the ones most likely to be upset by a 3D release are the ones who are going to make themselves the most vocal about it.
I think people need to get over their nerd rage and well, self-absorption (and ridiculous declarations of “I’ve quit Star Wars!” and “ruined forever!” and all that crap, like its some sort of movement) and maybe think about it in terms of a kid or partner who never got a chance to see any of the movies in theatres, and how great that would be for them. Even if it is in 3D (which I don’t like very much, myself).
It reminds me of the people who complain never-endingly about The Clone Wars CGI cartoon, actually. Which a lot of bitter old “fans” despise but which kids love. What a shock, old haters can’t stand the thought of a franchise catering to anyone but themselves!
I don’t think that arguments is fair. This isn’t just a case of a franchise catering to a younger audience. It’s a matter of an old film maker constantly changing a much cherished childhood movie, until it no longer resembles the movie we remember. If he simply released the original trilogy in theaters, unaltered, no special edition, no 3d, everyone would love him for it.
