DJ Hero 2 Review
Short Version: The first DJ Hero was an overlooked Gem. Here, the sequel improves on nearly every aspect of the game – The Soundtrack, controller gameplay and new multiplayer modes. DJ Hero 2 is quite literally the perfect “party game”. You owe it to yourself to check this franchise out if you like this type of music in the slightest.
What you’ll Like:
• The Soundtrack! Extremely similar to the actual club music they are playing right now (at least in Austin, TX).
• The new Held Taps, Freestyle Scratching, Crossfading and Freestyle FX all improve Controller play!
• DJ Battle Mode, Newly added multiplayer game types and Drop in/Drop out make this the PERFECT party game. Literary.
• Best Part: Salt & Peppa’s Push It and Snow’s Informer!
What you’ll Hate:
• Lack of Daft Punk Tracks!
• The Vocals are an afterthought, I doubt anyone will regularly with play them.
• No Custom Created DJ’s
• Worst Part: Why cant I play the DJ Battle Mode Songs in Singleplayer?!?

HAHA awesome review Joe. the music isnt my “thang” but the wife and i found the double version in Big lots for only $25. So she convinced me to get it and we have a BLAST with it. Im not really into rap but its ok while playing DJ hero 2. lol once again awesome review and have fun dude
That game is totally not for me, I hate that kind of music but what I hate the most is when they do remix of rock classic like We will rock you.
Here in France, we have daftpunk…and Sarkozy. How the fuck could we put Sarkozy in a game…well yeah a duckhunt game. But Whot the fuck wants to play Cabellas French Hunts 2k12 ^^
and in canada we have Dead Mau5…..also some moose but no probs from them…yet

This game looks and sounds awesome and i hope some of the DLC is really good, i think it would be great if you can stream songs from your comp or cd and use them too, would have loved to hear joes arcade game style reviewing song on the playlist but aw well

Thankfully, the compatibility pack for DJ Hero 2 is free! I have the the original game and it kicks ass! Now with deadmau5, I can get my Daft Punk fix too!
