  Sry Joe but you shoulda charged your mounted general into the archers lol it would have broken them also have to admit you not only got flanked by melee but taking a flight of arrows broadside REALLY hurts

  he was the main director of the german magazine Gamestar a long long time ago
  i think Gamestar is still the most succesfull PC Gaming Magazine in Europe :O

  Sorry Joe, but you must practice your strategy because flank and pincers are the basic and most useful strategies (Russians used it almost in every battle through history) and Jorg even uses advantage of higher place, your defeat was inevitable I like to see rematch sometime or another match with other critics all around the world

  Jörg Lange was the lead editor of GameStar when it came out 14 years ago. Gamestar is to this date the biggest and most read game magazine in germany.

  Joe, did you know that inspire ability works on your own general, and also archers? You could have won that general fight overwhelmingly!

  Shogun 2 is a great game. Thanks for your review, after Empire I didn’t know if CA could make another good game, but after seeing your review I bought shogun 2 and its great.

  Great video! I would be very happy to see a rematch someday in the future. Some scenes of your coop-campaign would be awesome as well. Joerg already said that you two didn’t do very well against the AI

  That flank was brilliant. Even tough you crippled Jörg’s entire army by killing his general he managed to turn the battle around. I hope I will see a rematch :3

  Hehe, well fought Joe and congrats to Joerg Langer.

  I do read at GamersGlobal a lot and know Joerg from his days at the GameStar Magazine which he helped create (German version). That’s why I am so surprised his English is this. .. underwhelming. He should have a lot of practice when going to E3 and such, but nope.

  Anyhow.

  Joe did you do the cooperative match with him? How did it play out? Did the coopration break and you had a chance to beat him? Thats what usually happens when I play cooperativ wiht friends it will turn to competition soon enough
