i didnt mind this game but it was far to short but wasn’t bad at all i thought. and you under estimate Korea btw joe it is more than possible for them to attack America in the future all they ever do is buy more bombs all the time. but its more like them would just nuke everyone even them selfs lol. because they are dumb as shit lol
Listen people Homefront is a cool game especially multiplayer. The major issue i have with multiplayer though for the ps3 is that the Mic chat is so so poor, not even half the time does it work properly.Buy this game for a tenner max, anymore and ur wasting ur money. Multiplayer is a shit load of fun when u get a helichopper and blow everyone up.
This game seems to be trying to invoke the whole “war is hell” idea that a lot of ‘modern FPS’ games are going for, but I’ve gotta say, it just falls flat. Spec Ops: The Line did it FAR better, and when it used white phosphorous in its story, it had an actual f*cking impact!
The reason the single player campaign sucks is they spent a ton of their budget on… yes marketing but also mutiplayer. There usually is only so much money assigned to the game it total, as you know. Multiplayer will always take away from the single player experience. And, as you just reviewed, especially in an initial outing, the single player experience has to kick ass for the multiplayer to WANT to be played. COD’s first Modern Warfare has the previous titles to fall back on and the single player experience was awesome. So naturally an awesome multiplayer bolstered sales. Now its a powerhouse franchise. THQ needs to spend the money on the single player part in order for its multiplayer part, which is good apparently, to work and for them to be in contention with the big 3, COD, BF and HALO. ALmost bought this, thanks for another awesome review and saving me $$
I guess there’s the sad thing: THQ has a lot of heart, but no balls. They make otherwise great stuff, but glaring flaws keep them from selling. I’m pulling for them, they have a lot of unrealized potential.
Homefront looked cool at first..but when I started playing it had A TON of issues. It lagged in the SINGLEPLAYER!! WTF IS THAT?!? The weapons were unrealistic in the sound and reaction fields it was sad. I overall hated this games single player mode.
Multiplayer was alright. I prefer the sniper classes and recon style classes. I’d like my enemies to be dead when I get there. HAHAHA! Many time I saw myself using the AR’s with crappy scopes and pathetic suppressors.
I can’t believe I wasted 60 dollars on this pitiful excuse of a fps. It obviously tries to compete with the power house fps like COD or BF but fails quite miserably. I like how they finally brought North Korea into the mix though. Fighting China or Russia whether or not there has been a coup is getting really generic now. The intro was pretty well though of to explain how NK came to be a super power and how all this is happening but in the end you know it just wouldn’t work. Wasted potential a 5 at best. If something inside you is forcing your hand to play it, rent it.
COD a powerhouse fps?Are you fucking serious?Any fucking fps with multi-player is better than COD
Where’s the like button?
