This fucking movie is a disgrace to the norse mythologhy! IT IS FUCKING BAAAAAD!! If you haven’t seen it, DON’T! It’s a waste. I mean, i didn’t read the frikin comic but seriously! It’s like americans doesn’t know shit about the mythology and then destorys it…
I saw it in theaters but wrote it now.
You should come here to Montreal. The Real D glasses are always clean and you could sneak them out and use them to look like a scientist or a hipster.
Sorry, I know am late I just saw the review, and I’d like to add : Thor doesnt grow only trough the *easy earth female* (though that was funny to mention) but his brother’s betreyal, the older guy’s concerns about him and her, the fact he saw the sheild trample over someone else to get what he want and the fact his hammer dont recognise him as someone of valor did play its part. But its true that, for a douchebag, its quite the quick learning time. OH, and that time his brother came to tell him his father died, I can tell from personnal history when someone close to you dies, you are left only with regrets of what you would’ve liked to be to those persons. Specialy family. Still good review, love the spiderman 3 face! xD

Dude, stop raging on 3D and find a better theater where you can find movies without 3D so you may enjoy them more. I find you funny in your game reviews, but there’s just so much rage on 3D on the movie reviews, you seem to have really different experience than me and most people I know. Around where i live there’s usually a choice whether to go see something in 2 or 3D
I found it a rather dull film. It wasn’t that good. Iron Man,the Avengers, Batman, the dark knight and captain america were all much better. Still, it was better than the dark knight rises
I can’t even remember a thing about that Thor movie. Anyhoo, Joe, what did you think of Immortals? So far, that has been my favorite live action 3D as I think it used the 3D properly. Slow motion dismemberments, guts everywhere and good looking scenery.

totally agree about the 3d thing, but i live in tulsa oklahoma, and 2d is much easier to find here, i never have to look to far to find one. I usually totaly agree with your movie reviews such as avatar-total crap, and inception-freakin awesome, but i did disagree with this one. Maybe im biased as thor and ironman are both my favorite heros, but i loved the movie thor and see how it plays in woth avengers. But i may be biased. However i did agree it isnt a ten, but i probly would have given it an eight
I can see your point on some things but I think you missed the point that Odin is enraged becasue Thor cannot behave like he does as king. He can’t go over and beat up everybody that challenges him because a king is suppose to be above that. Also it wasn’t his attraction to the girl that changes him, it was the moment he couldn’t lift his hammer and he realizes he’s not the tough guy he thought he was, that’s where it starts. He’s alone, powerless and the true change doesn’t come complete until he decides to sacrifice himself for the townspeople. That’s the moment he becomes “worthy” again. I agree with some of what you said but I get the impression you just viewed it once and didn’t really see beneath the surface. But anyway, love your reviews even when I don’t agree with them. Peace.
Some of these Marvel movies were made just to establish the characters for the Avenger’s. By establishing the characters now, they can go straight into the action with the Avengers, without having to go through so any character arcs.
i must say i dont get the whole Thor thing in America it have nothing to do with the Nordic mythology and i am from scandinavia

i saw asura wrath vid its cool eventhe dlc the bad thing is the dlc for the end cool for a while i had a dream the all around battle and the dlc asura vs ryu and i was thinking what if they made the game steet fighter like that and you can make your own player give me a % on it ps the game whould let you change the hire and like ryu shnnohado your player can have one too and you can changes it eyes and body color like mine whould have neohair color blake and white eyes white and battel damegs outfit blake and just tell me what you think .
What happened to all the movie reviews? Joe let so many movies pass, batman, avengers, spiderman, all those movies. I was looking forward mto those.

In Germany we get for 2€ (about 2,80$) our own 3d glasses in the cinema…
And our Cinema doesn’t use thiese blue/red glasses…
So the 3D is not that bad… but also pointless…

Best advice i can give you on how to stop Pointless 3D.You need to contact your congress man or Mayor or state senator to call for a Ban for your state or county or city area.
Gotta disagree with you Joe I thought this movie was more of an 8/10. Why? Well the story and characters were good and interesting, and most important of all, THERE WAS NO ORIGIN STORY FOR THOR AT ALL! FINALLY! The movie never told us how Thor got his powers or anything, hes just a god! Its perfect! The less we know the better! Movie studios need to stop making origin storys and just make movies. Have a superman movie where he just fights braniac we dont need to know who superman is and whats hes story we already know. Hollywood would make much better movies like this!

Poor old Natalie looks like Thor’s grandmother. No wonder there is no chemistry. My 6 year old daughter liked the movie, so, w/e.
I seriously felt that the plot was made by an 8 year old. It was completely surprising when I saw the good reviews. It’s ridiculous how lame the plot is.
In England North Yorkshire the 3D thing isn’t a problem there is only 1 cinema near us that does 3D and I avoid it
First off, where do you go that you have a table in the theater!? I’m lucky if I get the retractable arm rest lol. It wasn’t that great, leads into the Avengers okay.

it was a conan O’brian show joke. He did a skit where in the trailer, thor’s voice was light pitched and annoying. It’s pretty funny if you want to look it up

My problem with the The movie was most of the time, Thor wasn’t even Thor. He didn’t have powers or anything. Why make a movie about a superhero if he wasn’t even superpowered half the movie?
