The Warriors is the best ever movie based game. Why? Because it was made by Rockstar.
You know, Joe, I have wondered about your rating system. It’s pretty good, however there is one discrepancy. I don’t quite understand how you go from slightly below average to terrible. I would have thought it would be:

The only movie-licensed games worth our money are StarWars based, but that’s a category from a a totally different galaxy, far, far away from crap like this!
I think Thor should have had some epic combat like Dynasty Warriors. Your a god not a fucking goober he mopped them up in the movie why should it take more than one hit to kill any of them in the game. Put him against thousands of bad guys at once and just let him rip into them smash heads with the hammer. Make him the god of tearing shit up not making grown men cry because they fucked up a game by rushing release to meet movie release dates. They need to quit fucking around and make the game and release them when they are ready.
p.s. i think they should make Iron man surviving the zombie apocalypse that could be a fun game

what they should do with such games is give them more time. there’s no point in rushing development time if the game turns out bad and you don’t sell.
The problem with movie based games is that they are published by the movie industry. These are people that care not one bit for quality nor know anything about video gaming or anything that makes a game good. Their sole objective is to fork out a piece of shit with a name matching the movie as fast and cheaply as possible. Most of these are made in the span of less than a year, from far less a budget of that of any “normal” quality game. They naturally put each at 60$ so they get max profit off anyone stupid enough to buy it.
You’d think that by now people would know to avoid these, or at least do some research and/or hit up reviews before taking the risk, since it’s been done since the beginning of time to scam people.(Even back to the Nes.) The main victims are game-ignorant parents buying games for their kids, whom likely know just as little about video games and aren’t going to take the time to do any research. If the movie is good, they will assume the game is good, go buy it, then hand it to their 12 year old kid without a second thought. It still works like that today.
Enough people still buy these pieces of shit and the companies responsible for said puking in the game boxes profit off it. So long as it works and they always profit off it, they will always do it. Why would they stop? It doesn’t have to be good if you made far more money off it than what it costed to piss out. I’d do the same damn thing if I was able. Everyone respectable would hate me, but I’d be rolling in cash, so I wouldn’t give a damn.
