Really hope we get a better PC Port for Borderlands 2 than the first game.
the pc version of Borderlands 2 isn’t a port, that version is specially made for the pc
Does someone know the exact release date for firefall?
Thanks for the interview on War in the North. I do hope there are other human enemies besides the Carn dum barbarians, given the fact that the War in the North according to Tolkien also takes place east of the Misty Mountains.
I don’t think the guy is telling the truth about how they are making the game, anyway, for the sole reason that it is both a movie game and an LotR game. So I don’t expect their to be, for example, any enemies other than Uruk-hai.
But I hope everything said in the interview is true.
=Notes on Counter Strike: GO=
I think the only reason why they’re allowing inter-play with PS3, MAC and PC Gamers is because the PS3 have a Keyboard and Mouse Converter accessory, while the Xbox 360 doesn’t. And if i remember correctly there was a test that was conducted between PC Gamers and Console Gamers to see which group had a better advantage against the other and PC Gamers won hands down as the Keyboard and Mouse set up allowed for split second reaction timing over the Consoles sluggish (in comparison) aiming controls. So anyone playing the PS3 going up against players playing on the PC are in for a hard time, unless they have the Keyboard and Mouse converter.

Firefall looks like the only game id be mildly intrersted in, if only it was first person, I cant stand third person unless there is a cover mechanic. I hate counterstrike cause of the w8 after dieing, borderlands 2 I might be intrested in if the guns were more easy to figure out the stats because x3 fire or 4x lightning make no sence to me.
Joe have a look at the upcoming game Tactical Intervention…. its being published quietly by a Korean company but its basically being developed by the original creator of CS, who isn’t really thrilled with what CS has become over the years….I’m not knocking CS.. it is what it is, but it also hasn’t really evolved in any meaningful way in almost a decade. Tactical intervention on the other hand looks like what CS2 might have become if Valve was interested… remember these are the guys who put a stop to CS2 … there is a fair amount of beta footage – its Source engine so the graphics aren’t bf3 or mw3 caliber but god if it doesn’t look like a blast to play

The questions are good and a big plus so far that you ask some of the fan’s questions. But as I can see , everyone was a little tired or something. It’s not that I’m surprised… I’m just saying

Very good. I was personally looking forward to a “Counter-Strike” face-lift. Looking very forward to Guild Wars 2, if you have gotten any interviews with those guys, Joe. Thanks. Good work.
Anyone saying Brick would have been nixed due to his power not being “useful” is an idiot. If anything, “Beserk” was the most overpowered ability in the game. Properly upgraded it can finish off enemies and most bosses quicker then most guns can. You upgrade the duration and cooldown you can have it go off once every 1-2 minutes and it lasts maybe 2.5 minutes. Still, I’m glad to see them trying something different. Can’t wait for Borderlands 2. Although I thought they were going to call it “Borderworlds”.
That Firefall game looks awesome. Plus the guy Joe interviewed didn’t stutter, he didn’t “uh” or “err”, he knew everything and he was very enthused. That instills a lot of confidence in someone watching.
That CounterStrike game actually looks really good. I had my doubts having never played the original and hearing that it was complicated but maybe I was wrong…?
LOTR: War In The North looks good but c’mon! No 3 player local co-op? Really? Only two? I have two friends, so if I wanted to go through with one of them my buddy who has the X-Box has to buy the game and connect with my and my non X-Box owning buddy online. That’s a bummer. But the game looks really badass.
First of all, I just wanted to say that I’m from Brazil and I love your show. You have one of the most interesting and gamer centric views on the industry and I’m glad someone out there has the passion to make a show and isn’t so much in the business side of things. Also, you’re one of the best reviewers out there today. Nice job. I’m enjoying your coverage on PAX so far and I’m looking forward to the Prey 2 and UMvC3, but what about Mass Effect 3? Did you get to check it out there?

Firefall looks amazing and it follows what I want in a free-to-play game, NO FREEMIUM CRAP
The new counterstrike looks meh. I can understand they want it running on a lot of pc’s but there hasn’t been much of a graphical improvement since 2004 in this new game from what I can see. Granted it is the same engine most likely but still they have been doing some good stuff with it lately.
Borderlands 2 looks awesome. Am in the middle about the rest.

Well Joe said earlier that he did the interview and there was no new information except vampires in the game so he probably wont post it. But he said he played Skyrim so some videos of Joe kicking vampire ass would be nice. But I don’t know since I know nothing about these events and if Joe was allowed to bring camera…

Not overly impressed with CS “2″ so far, but hopefully it will be worth getting. Sounds to me like their focus is on new players and consoles (why? because nothing that they have revealed so far adds anything to tournaments such as slap or enemydown (add x-ray into CS already))
I’ve been gaming cs since 0.3, so I really hope they haven’t gone and made the game easier like they did with CSS.

Cross platform PS3 and PC in CS sounds a bit unfair. Having a keyboard and mouse is a huge advantage, and if it has auto aim, it isn’t cs. Guess noone will use that since PC players will just always steamroll PS3 ones.
the PS3 version will have keyboard and mouse support,but now i realize that AJ never reviewed a PS3 game,all i see is 360 games,i don’t like this,only 360
