i really love this game but the Xbox version has a lot of server problems, i guess microsoft and EA cant come to an agreement and wont allow players to host their own games so we are stuck with the shitty EA servers that lag and time out all the time. if i could afford to buy a PC i would totaly be playing those 64 player rounds but im stuck with smaller maps less vehicles and 24 player matches. its like i got half the game for twice as much money
Who cares about co-op? I want to know about TDM!
It got fixed. Awesome! Gonna watch it now
Video need’s fixed.
FUCK UPS! FUCK ALL THESE ADS THEN AFTER WACTHING THEM THE REAL VID DONT START………..
TO ALL – DON’T buy this game on PC – Origin + Web browser (NO MAIN MENU) + Bugs = Unfinished game for your hard earned money. They treat original players like a THIEF who want only buy and copy BF3. That’s idiotic! I buy new game from store becouse i DONT WONT ILLEGAL COPY. Dont Give EA your cash or they will keep doing games like this!
Main menu is the web browser. Duh. I have played this game for over 10 hours now and I havent encountered a SINGLE bug. With an expection that bipods work weirdly. Care to tell what is left unfinished?
Stop the STARBUCKS COMMERCIALS!!!! OH the Humanity!!!
Can’t watch it
Please fix!
For about five seconds I felt so tempted to shoot the soldier manning the turret in the car. Then I realized I wasn’t playing the game but watching this video. I seriously wonder if you can shoot another soldier in your own unit and if you could have the entire unit turn on you. Could that be possible? Go renegade with your partner in co-op and fight not only the enemies but your own army just because you gunned down that one guy. Would be interesting to say the least. Then you hit your own guy by accident and they all turn on you, so maybe that’s not a good idea lol.
I think they were just specifically shooting at Joe nearing the end where he was down like seven times. They knew he’d be a threat if he entered rage mode. He’d like destroy the universe.
Game: Joe enters rage mode.
*Joe’s character changes to Angry Joe*
Joe: *Obliterates*
Good work on keeping him alive though Jonny M, them wife, kids, and them multiple jobs would thank you greatly.

I had no probs with singleplayer or co-op but ive had loads of lag issues in multiplayer like rubber banding and im not the only one, also the game freezes after the win lose screen every 1 or 2 games, im sure loads more peeps have different issues like these. (on the pc)
If they fix these issues id say this is the best buy ive had all year, if they dont, then its a piece of shit game compared to original bf titles, ive played a little bf2142 that game was considered the most buggy yet ive experianced more problems in bf3.
I look forward to your review joe, I hope you will add the problems like these to your review if you experiance them, they shouldent go unnoticed if the game is full release.
Hi. Gimme views.
Please
And when comes the review of this great game!
I Hope MW3 have any chance but i play it snce launch and i think BF3 one of the Best shooters released!
I Play it on PC!
lolz this video was funny, I had trouble flying too initially and was almost tempted to plug in my flight stick but I just ended up using a mouse and gamepad, only crashed once and had to redo the mission once… well twice if you count having my friend who also got switched and then half way through trying to learn the controls just said F it and slammed us into a mountain and said “OK YOU FLY!” lol.
Anyways my opinion is going to stand pretty much one sided here, I’ve never really enjoyed Call of Duty’s multiplayer outside of playing the first on PC and I played United Offensive quite a bit too. The battlefield series on the other hand has always been awesomely fun online, to the extent where even when I’m dying I’m having a good time, in CoD I just don’t get that, either I’m winning and I’m doing fine or I’m dying every two seconds and rage quiting matches.
BF3 just allows me to at least blow s*** up and look around the world sometimes and enjoy what an awesome spectacle of what’s going on around me. Tanks crashing through buildings, missiles streaking across the sky, watching a plane spiral out of control and slaming into a hotly contested gas station which, previously before the huge fireball, my side had been trying cover to keep the enemy team from crossing over it’s debris strewn pavement, to our defending objective.
CoD conversly is run around in circles, see someone shoot them, rinse, repeat. I guess that’s always been my problem, CoD’s multiplayer is not super in depth or complicated it’s much more amendable to alot of gamers who like to just run off and do thier own things. I’m not saying you CAN’T be tactical with a group in CoD all I’m saying is that in Battlefield it becomes a very necesary idea that you can’t just one man rambo a whole army most of the time.
Which is why vehicles are so crucial in the series structure, you can’t be carrying a machine gun and mowing down infantry then expect to be able to also deal with that tank coming down your street, now you gotta step back and let a team mate do his job, which is killing the tank.
Like just today I was playing rush mode and as attackers we were down to literraly zero tickets left, we were right on the cusp of losing but we were also near the objective neccesary to win we had two tanks pinning down the group of guys trying to move in and so, even though I was not the best player in the match with the most points, I found a vantage point and shot one of the tanks with my rpg, got a triple kill, one from the guy outside repairing and two from the inside guys manning the tank. There was still another tank up but just getting rid of that one tank made the other move out into a more vunerable position where it promptly got lit up from others on my team and the group that was pinned was able to run in and get that last objective. That single moment was one of best feelings of acomplishments in a game cause if I had not done that we’d might not have won.
I just can’t get that experience from a CoD game, not anymore.
Heya Joe,
if you do a full review on this game, be sure to tell everyone about the Origin spyware program that basically tells EA everything about your computer. This includes the license status of your media files and programs, and your IP adress. EA also shares the info with their numerous “unnamed partners”.
Here in Germany, the state is actually preparing to sue EA because their policies violate our data protection laws.
Actually, because of all the criticism EA changed the EULA of Origin a while ago:
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/battlefield-3/news/6331203/ea-changes-origin-eula
Block it with your firewall i do the same nothing comes through!
And give false info i didn’t give them my e-mail adress it’s only a trashmail adress!
Hey Angry Joe, you probably received your skyrim copy by now?
your opinion is very important to me xD
pls review it
Wait what?
guy, its october still
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJ84trKx12A epic flying
Also Sword of the stars 2 is out
Hahahahaha i laugh so hard in the second missión, no beacuse you sucked pilot, but because i was worst than you, but yeah Jhonny M. is right, is just time to get used to it, i mean why have to do that mission like 35 times when i was piloting, the helicopter, but now i can pilot and dont die.
Added you in battle log, i hope see you in a match, good luck you
Btw there is some glitches in co-op, and campaing monde,
One in the Helicopter Mission, 2 of your sooldier runs to the hills, an other the campaing don’t advance in one point, dunno why, also the ending i got a bug… it just don’t show something, what made me think it another things, so i go and checket to youtube, and yes, it was bugged.
Good luck you, and hello from Monterrey México.
heh heh good stuff, I particularly enjoyed the helicopter mishaps! I like how the helicopters handle in this game with the mouse and keyboard, though I can’t speak for the game-pad controls. It takes a bit of practice but I’d rather a bit of learning curve, than pure simplicity.
I think I actually disagree on your point of the graphics being possibly the best seen this year. I’ve got a decent gaming PC and I think The Witcher 2 still looks better overall, it’s just oozing style and artistry, Even if the animations aren’t as top notch as in this game. The lighting here really is incredible though, such smooth convincing shadows and it all runs brilliantly without ridiculous hardware requirements.
Looking forward to the review… I expect a couple demerits because of Battlelog and Origin… even though they function fine so far (in my experience at least), they seem like needless hoops to jump through.
My main complaint with battlelog so far has been there shitty chat feature, I never know when someone is messaging me because the sound it makes is so quaint. Honestly other than that I don’t have a problem with it… other than it could have just been put into the game and not a web browser.
Funny stuff Joe. Only the more Battlefield 3 footage you show off, the more comments will start popping up of people belittling the game on consoles, CoD fanboys raging and saying it sucks, people complaining about certain technical glitches and faults, people saying YOU suck, people saying it deserves a 10/10 and that all the people who gave it an 8 should all burn in hell, and of course we’ll get flame war after flame war, again, and again, and again… zzzZZZzzzZZZzzz
Seems as if DICE yet again failed to detect flight sticks properly. Compared to DCS Black Shark, I am unimpressed with BF’s helicopter attempt.
Oh yes, because when I pop in a military FPS my first instinct is to bash on the “unrealistic” flight controls… Clearly the flight controls are just such fail it belittles the experience of the entire game!
As multiplayer is a huge part of BF, like it is with most FPS; I’d say getting the air vehicle control mechanics right would be quite important. However I’ve seen plenty of people flying them online just fine so I’m thinking the canadian guy just sucks at flying.
Playing a battlefield game on consol epic fail.
BF2 was the best teamwork game ever.
BF3 is total garbage, have to use origin and web browser to play it.
Save yourr money people, DICE used to be good, now they suck. Just like BF2 they cant even get the hitboxes straight.
So game ios a joke move on.
It is true that the P.C version is, and always has, been superior. That doesn’t mean just because you’re a P.C elitist who has the 700-800$ to buy an updated computer and can play this game, states that Console players, who take up TRIPLE the P.C market, cannot be allowed to touch this game. Face it, yes DICE is now IW, but what would have stopped them in the first place. With the success of BFBC1-2, it was obvious EA would put their franchise on the consoles, there’s no denying it. Belittling consoles to P.Cs isn’t very sporting either and actually makes you seem less mature than most console flame war fanboys have been.
Please dont have a fan score counter for this game. It wont be fair to the game considering CoD fanboys will just give it one’s out of rage x)
Joe is a fan of CoD (Not saying fanboy, he just likes the game, he doesn’t worship it), but Joe is also a fan of BF and SEEMS to like it a bit more. I’m not fanboying here people. In all honesty I’m not even getting one or the other. I’m just gonna wait, watch, and then act when the games I’m REALLY looking forward to come out. Mass Effect 3, Bioshock Infinite, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Saints Row: The Third, and the holy grail of everything awesome, ESV: Skyrim… yah I don’t think I need these two any more…
Haha, look at 12:06 when there’s a guy flying up to the sky
that was not the PC version, right? I heard that console users going to suffer since they are using outdated hardware, (by five years or so) which is not capable to display what battlefield graphics truly look like. Already in this video I see visuals are very inferior compared to what i play on PC.
I’ve seen the graphics comparison, it’s not a five year difference, more like one, and even then you can barely tell on an HD television most people have now adays. Soooo, the only difference really is gameplay, and THAT actually is a big difference and BF3 P.C is superior.
Seems palpable by five year he was referring to how old the consoles are. Which is six years if I’m not mistaken, and there is quite a difference between ultra PC on 1080p vs console graphics.
Press E to revive, R to reload, talking about Origin and Origin authentication… do you still think it is not the pc version?
He might have turned down the graphics so his pc doesn’t get bogged down recording or not a really high end pc.
LOL Joe’s helecopter dissaster was epic. You cant make that up. ehehe
I love playing these games in coop. seem alittle like Army of two but with alot of graphic tweeting.
Thanks for showing the gameplay, it’s was awesome and funny.
Later

Nice gameplay, but im not a fan of BF
