Any chance AngryJoe can review the recent Walrock Armageddon DLC…it makes the game sooo much hard which is one of the major complaints about this otherwise awesome yet unnoticed title

Put that lovely engine and your work in a more ¨Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic¨ game…
Seriously, the vic conditions seems fun (and some you can accomplish, not those ¨diplo¨ or cultural wins that you can´t never reach), and if the game is polished (as it seems), could be the strategy game to fill the gap for King Athur 2.
pd: look the ¨long gloves¨ the girl have (that are cut from the shirt), … man i would love my GF had one of those…

man, joe’s voice is weird( all calm and no yelling). anyway, i cant see this game will be a huge success.it look like Civ5 without production, research, diplomac…and only military.they should atleast add a campaign mode to make this game sustainable

This is what I like about Angry Joe! He’s good at finding those “under-the-radar” games, that has good potential at becoming a great game! Just like he did with Gettysburg: Armored Warfare!
Joe’s latest additions are lacking. Got me hiped up on SOPA than there is no follow up video. What happened with your video going there as you said? Your previews are great but in a long time now there is no single review (which is when your show is the greatest).
There was a follow up video to the SOPA bill, although I don’t think it got posted on here for some reason. I saw it on thatguywiththeglasses.com.

Anyway the game doesn’t look half bad though I think they copied Civ 5 a tad too much. It almost looks like a mod of it. Though the victory conditions sound different so that’s nice. I’m not sure why they chose to make it based off of Majesty series though. That feels a bit forced like they are doing it just cause they now own the IP so why the hell not. I would rather just see a Majesty 3 that plays more like the first.

I like having the ability to stack units, although it makes for somewhat confusing game play.. it makes more sense in terms of realism. I mean.. as far a scale is concerned that one hex is supposed to represent many, many miles, why the hell can I only fit one type of unit onto an area that could accommodate a massive army?!

You didn’t ask if this game was influenced by “Master of Magic’ because to be honest it looks a hell of a lot like “master of magic” just beefed up for the modern era… which looks awesome!

This looks like a modern Master of Magic game! base on civ5 like MoM was based on civ. This can be awesome if the game is well done!!. Can’t wait!!!!!
That little candle made it almost seem romantic. He he! No pun intended. Nevertheless, the game looks solid enough I’d say. And I’ve been lounging for a strategy game that combines Civilization and what someone mentioned above, Age of Wonders.
If you didn’t know Joe, Civilization Test of Time offered three different styles of gameplay, the usual, one with sci-fi and the last including fantasy. One of my favourite games back that time, so I have high hopes for this. And look at that, $19.99 is brilliant.
Yo Joe, sorry to post this here and this is off subject should try to review or at least play Tribes 2, Its really a unique sci fi shooter game, that is really incredible. Despite its age, there is no other games to date that have ever come close to being similar or as good as tribes 2. Go on Tribesnext.com to download it for free because the company that was hosting the servers had to shut down. But because of tribesnext you can still play online. The original game server with no mods in it is called Goon Haven. Thanks Joe! Enjoy!
In case no one notice, the units and their voices is exactly from majesty 2. INOCO developed this game. And, if i understood this right, INOCO is the developer of Warlock. So, either they just used some resources from the previous game as dummies, or the game is the successor of majesty 2.
Anyway, i don’t think its fair to talk about the good animation. Yes, its good, as it was good in majesty 2, IMHO.
Also, the game looks as combination of CIV5 and age of wonders. Units, global spells, turn-based gameplay, hexes. Everything is from the over games.
And someone is right, INOCO is known for selling “mini-dlc’s”. In Russia, they sold majesty 2 5 or 6 times. Original game, 3 addons, and God knows how many gold-platinum-complite editions after each of expansions. They even sold skins for main buildng, spells for units, levels of upgrades for heroes. Everything for like 2-3 bucks. I know that most likely thats not developers choice but publisher, as 1C doing this thing constantly. I only hope that Paradoxx is much better as the publisher and will not do such things.
Except that Majesty 2 was an utter piece of shit and that this might be a decent game.

this seems good hopefully the ai is not stupid like in civ i mean really they give me all cities to have 10 turns of peace and then relaying on me not sending all my forces to stomp them into the ground and that the higher difficulties don’t just make the ai more powerful than by giving them cheat powers making them build things faster and research things faster. Also don’t do what civ 5 did with bs dlc pay 5 dollars for new faction now or pay 5 dollars for some new maps that’s just crap. Oh and please don’t have a happiness mechanic that just pissed me of in civ 5 my people were angry because they had other people to socialize with i mean really is everyone in my empire antisocial. Other than that i am looking forward to it and i hope that it succeeds.
