Rage is great game(for me)!
If you regret giving those games their score why don’t you make an amendment video?
Are you kidding me? He’s angry because they didn’t live up to the hype. He’s not going to go and lie and tell everyone that a game is good when its not
um….did you read his comment or watch the video? He’s referring to the fact that at least once he says he wish he didn’t give a game the score he did.
Personally I could care less about the score but I can see his point.
DROP THAT DOOKAAAAYYY!!!!!!!
Ehh I really liked SR the Third and I played SR2 and SR1 first and many times through both. I think I may have even liked it more in some aspects. I have to disagree but you have your opinion I have mine. But I agree with all your other choices Bioware screwed up with DA2. I havent played Dead Island the others completely agree.
how how can you put dead iland in its amazing grafics you fucked up big time the traler is completly diffrent to the tralor fuck…. how i loved it was a kill spree zombi apocolips shit man you were gowing good but you fucked up joe joe …fuck me this was a fucking good game ok
P.S.make a nother show
Calm Down pal
PS learn How to spell
could almost guess saints row 3 it was the biggest disappointment for me too
I was going to call him out on it if he didn’t mention Sword of the Stars 2 somewhere. It makes the launch of games like Dead Island or RAGE look good in comparison. I guess they ran out of time/money and had to push it out there but damn. Nearly 3 months now, and while its got a lot of patching done its still not in a quality of a launch product.
Another one I would add would be Red Orchestra 2. Another bad launch with buggy stats tracking an poor game performance for most people.
I have to disagree with calling Jurassic Park one of the worst games on 2011. I agree that the replay value of it is slim to none, but I thought that though it was pretty much an interactive movie, that’s kinda what the developers at tell tail wanted to do. So, coming to accept the rail that I was on, I found that this game was actually very exciting as it tells a story that focuses more on the books characters over the movie as it takes place after the first movie, showing what happened after the main characters left the island, and giving Gerry Harding more of a character as he was demoted to extra in the movies, where as in the books he was a more important character. I thought it was a great game, but for the console I noticed a huge drop in frame rate compared to the PC version. It’s also kinda fun to watch other play it to see what they would do and how they would go about progressing through the game, and my gf had fun watching me play it as she saw everything unfold in front of her as she clung to me during the suspenseful areas. We were both on the edge of our seats near the end, and I have to say, it’s a game that I think i might pick up and play again after watching the first movie later on.
Hate to break it to ya joe but rage is hella short. it felt like 7 hours half of which were racing! I even took the time to do all of the side quests it’s sad. if you had finished the game it would have ranked higher in this list..
Am I really the only person who would put Cr*pilization 5 on that list? No hoard of positive reviews can ever make me buy a Civ 6. Forgiving the broken pathfinding where units wander back and forth over the same two tiles, and the lacklustre AI, I’ve spent 24 hours staring at that “PLEASE WAIT” sign before putting it away and loading up an earlier Civ. The game is not badly designed, it’s just extremely poorly coded.
It was relased in 2010 not 2011, but you are not the only person who thinks it is not as good as it’s predesesors akin to the TES series.
no Marvel vs Capcom 3??i though u’re very disappointed with that game.
I love this. We’re two completely different writers but we can still spot a disappointment when we play one. I have Dead Island and Dragon Age II on my list too…woa…
TBH, Skyrim should’ve been on this list. While the game is good somewhat they done so many things wrong that I can only weep now that I am 50+ hours in…
@Zeks – Skyrim, really?
While I do agree that they could have done many things differently and better, the list of games that offer as much as vanilla Skyrim does, is pretty small.
And I’d like to hear what games do offer as much posibilities AND delivering them better then Skyrim. Right of the bat, Morrowind is the only one coming to my mind, that “could” fit that spot.
That’s a pretty short list, don’t you agree? And of that list you would consider Skyrim disappointing? Now I’d like to know what games did satisfy / deliver in your opinion….
I’ve done a very detailed rant about the game but I am afraid it’s in russian. In short – if you rip away its exploration part (which is, admittedly, very good) the gameplay that is left turns out to be lacking in every aspect and is, sometimes, simply infuriating. Skyrim is not a bad game, by no means it is, but it certainly is disappointing because if its gameplay was even a bit more sensible it could have been oh so much more…
Skyrim as a worst for 2011? You must be on crack. No, you can’t be on crack, because even a guy on crack wouldn’t suggest something that stupid. Whether you like it or not, you can’t deny that these 10 games, along with maybe 2 dozen other games, are all worse than Skyrim by miles.
Where on Earth did you hear me saying that Skyrim is a bad game? This is a completely different list and different discussion.
it’s most disappointing games. If you expected Skyrim to favor tightly designed combat over exploration, that was your own fault. It would be like being disappointed by Fable 4 because it sounded so amazing, it’s kind of what the series does.
TES was always the kind of game that looks mediocre in videos but unbelievably amazing when you get your hands on it yourself.
I was a little surprised that Brink wasn’t on here. I felt it also succumbed to the same fate as Dead Island, all the hype about introducing Parkour and better movement in the environment…I was so excited for it that I bought it when it first came out. 2 weeks later (or less) and I was quite tired of the boring combat and unoriginal missions. I bought it for $49.99 on Steam…it’s now with $19.99. Instead of buying games as they come out I wait for YOU (JOE) to lend an opinion
Trash tends to drop QUICKLY in value because most of them don’t sale. If you are going into it uneducated, it usually saves you a great deal of money to just rent instead. Rent the game for 10$, blow it away, then return it. Lot less than 60$.
I hated Dead Island though. I put in maybe 2 hours before I quit. Running around hitting zombies with pipes just doesn’t entertain for long. I want GUNS. I ran through Left 4 Dead, RE4, RE5, Dead Space 1+2. I don’t want to hit things with fucking pipes and bats like a poor hobo, I want to SHOOT them. This big huge island paradise doesn’t have any security or guns anywhere? Wha? It was like Left 4 Dead… but with all the guns taken out and no team work as you are now alone. I jumped ship off that boring island rather quickly.
I think Dead Island is a game you either love or hate, personally I love it. Yeah I agree the trailer was nothing like the actual game but the game itself isn’t bad IMO.
It was like playing a good video game version of The Walking Dead and Zombieland put together. The glitches were there but not really enough for me to be annoyed by it. Then again I’m from the GTA and TES generation so I’m use to taking a few glitches with my open worlds.
BTW the game does have guns, you just have to work for them. I like that, I’m kind of sick of games like Left4dead where guns are everywhere. It’s not that I hate them, just that it’s the norm and I occasionally like to try something new.
The idea that melee weapons are common and guns are a commodity (much like it would be in real life or at least most zombie movies) gives it more of a survival feel IMO.
My list would be:
1. Heroes of Might and Magic VI, or is it Might and Magic: Heroes VI. Ubisoft continues to run the once great Might and Magic franchise into the ground.
2. Dungeon Siege 3. Not only did it abandon the gameplay style of the previous two games, it didn’t even have the great writing that Obsidian is known for. Not to mention how bad co-op was. The only good thing about the game is that it showed that Obsidian can make a game that’s not buggy.
3. Hunted: The Demon’s Forge. Lots of bugs, bad art design, gameplay problems, and bad co-op. The most disappointing thing about this game is that it’s made by the Brain Fargo, the man who founded Interplay and behind games like Fallout, Descent, and Baldur’s Gate.
4. Dungeons. Meant to be the spiritual successor of Dungeon Keeper, this game just does not live up to legacy of the original games. The missions are boring and repetitive. The combat is not fun. In fact, a lot of the game is just tedious rather than fun. It’s not even that fun to build your dungeon.
5. Afterfall: Insanity. This game looked like it was going to be another surprise hit like STALKER but turned out to be very disappointing due to poor gameplay.
I think the lack of Heroes 6 is because Joe only reviews titles that are available on X360. And it is on my “Worst fof the year” list … sitting right at the top
Sword of the Stars 2 is a PC only game. I guess Joe just isn’t a fan of the Heroes franchise. He wasn’t a very big fan of Civilization. Although, I am surprised that Dungeon Siege 3 isn’t on the list.
You lost any creditability for a worst list when you said Skyrim should be on it.
You lost any credibility for any of your comments not bothering to actually read my post aboust Skyrim and not bothering to even check the topic that is discussed here.
Oh, and I haven’t played Dragon Age 2 a second time ( unlike every good BioWare title before… Baldurs Gate 2 x3 ; Mass Effect x4, Mass Effect 2 x4, Dragon Age: Origins x3 and so on ), because I can’t stand the idea of having to go through the game knowing that fucking Anders will be the ultimate twat in the end. Aside from the respawn enemies ( seriously, how do the rooftops look like in Kirkwall? ), the repeat environments, the sucky companions ( outside of Varric ) and so on.
Sword of the Stars II? Dammit, I was hoping it was going to be good…
Joe, if you want a good space sim, on the Xbox Live Arcade, look for a game called Fusion: Genesis.
An overlooked gem in my opinion.

Top 10 lists for easy money, eh Joe?
hahaha you know we love watching your videos, so it’s all good. I always make sure to enter your site from most computers I’m at and usually load up a video or 2 just to help out. Love your show, your lists are awesome and your (honest) opinion is greatly appreciated. I’m starting up a website of my own soon and you’re one of my main inspirations! No competition for you though, aiming a totally different market, but your speech videos have given me a lot of good pointers, I hope you do more of those as I still have a ton of questions!!!
Stay cool Joe, happy new year! Game on!
They aren’t for a quick buck, they are recaps of an entire year of gaming history. Not everyone wants to watch all of those videos done over 12 months as opposed to seeing a list of picks. Also some of the games didn’t even get a video or full review.
As a *huge* fan of Origins, I was reluctant to even play DA2 after all of the bad things I’d heard about it. On my first play through, I was actually surprised to find that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. Sure, I found Kirkwall to be way too confining (I think everybody can agree with that sentiment) and I missed being able to have random conversations with my NPCs whenever I wanted (rather than at designated times when the game allows), but it was pretty fun. The story is naturally very disjointed and feels very much like a lead up to something greater, but I can deal with that. I stuck by Anders in the end, because I romanced him, he was my party’s healer, and let’s face it – the templars are freakin’ Nazis. I’m super pro-mage like that.
So, the second time around I decided to play as a mage (I was a warrior the first time), and besides finding myself frequently annoyed by Carver because he’s a twat, I found the gameplay instantly became so much more satisfying. Raining down fire from the sky is SO much more fun than just hitting shit with a sword. Mage combat in Origins felt much slower in comparison (though I rarely play as a mage – gotta be the female human noble so I can be queen, bitches <3). Oh, and Carver actually grows up if you bring him with you during the Legacy DLC and he's a Grey Warden (maybe if he's a templar, too, but I dunno, I've never played a game where he's a templar).
The Legacy DLC is excellent, and includes one of the most intense boss battles – though I swear my strategy would have worked better if Carver wouldn't have been running straight into the spinning wall of flames, the dumb shit. The latest DLC, Mark of the Assassin, is alright and has some funny moments, but if you didn't like DA2 then it certainly won't change your mind on the game. Legacy at least adds something interesting story-wise with Hawke and his/her family history. Plus, if you bring Anders with you he'll go nuts during one point because of the taint and Justice will take over, call up some demons, and attack you. Fun times
…And that's all for my Dragon Age fangirl defense comment. I still enjoyed DA2 even if it wasn't as satisfying to me as Origins, and I hope it won't keep any of you from trying DA3 when it inevitably arrives (which will be awhile, as Bioware has promised they'll take their time on this one rather than rushing it like they admitted they did with DA2).
Most disastrous game launch was All Points Bulletin, no question about it dawg. Joe, you need yo reaserch done right homie! Anyway, shit is tight, as always, i’m waiting for more. Love your channe, do yo thang.
Dragon Age 2 was, in many ways, a better *game* than Origins (at least on PC), being less of a chore to go through, slicker, easier to get into, with combat that was brisk enough it didn’t feel like something holding you back from the next plot twist or character developmentt, which is the reason most people play Bioware RPGs to begin with. it also did something more fantasy RPGs need to do, which is avoid having a true Big Bad Evil Guy that must be defeated in order to save the world. That was the whole point of the framing device. (SPOILERS.) Cassandra is looking for someone to blame, but there’s no one person or thing that can really have the blame put on it. It was a mature story, not just power-fantasy wish-fulfillment.
I also disagree that it looks worse. In fact, one of the big problems with Origins is much reduced–there’s a lack of stiff model motions and empty-eyed stares.
HOWEVER: Origins still showed a lot more polish, depth, and replayability. II didn’t expand the world nearly enough, the environments became repetitive, siding with the mages got you a bullshit tacked-on boss fight that makes no sense and undermines the whole story, and the friendship/rivalry system was at once too arcane and too simplistic. Dragon Age II is what happens when you take two years to make a sequel to a game that took five years to build.
Duke Nukem? Really? That is easily on my top 10 List of 2011. Great game. One of the best shooters of 2011 and far far far better then Call of sh**
Are you kidding me? DN forever (duke nukem in name only) was a carbon copy of COD (or halo really) just with new graphics. The idea of duke hiding behind a rock to heal….ugh. And a two weapon limit? Of course because the Duke has always been about subtlety and only using what he needs.
Resistance 3 felt more like a Duke game, at least in terms of mechanics. Carry a bunch of weapons and collect healthy packs to heal. Forcing you to be brave and run out for supplies when you are dying rather than hide behind a wall like a scared space marine.
I think the most disappointing game of the year was modern warfare 3.
The main company was short (FOUUR HOUURS!!!), recycled and they’ve killed soup.
And don’t tell me that the focus of the game is multiplayer.
There’re about nine games in the main series, and the campaign became shit only in this one.
RAGE doesn’t get much better later on, sadly. The dev’s said that it would take about 20hrs to complete everything. Every side mission, every race, and main story. You can easily do it in 12hrs and have the benefit of seeing the most disappointing ending in all history. Or, well… “ending”. It’s so shit it’s laughable.
As for DA2: I disagree with your opinion on it. It IS more tactical than the first. I dare you to switch to the hardest difficulty and see if you can still burn your way through all the fights.. It’s also leagues better on the PC than on the Xbox. While some of your points stand, that exploration isn’t as great as the first game, it’s still a good game and, in my opinion, undeserving of this list.
uh….you didn’t play the original did you?
Yeah nobody is saying DA2 was super easy on hard, but it doesn’t even compare to DA origins on hard or even normal mode.
Hell, even on easy that game forced you to use strategy.
well i gues well see mindjack on the worst game list
I was agreeing with this list up until #1. Are you fucking high? Do you have no sense of humor? Saints Row 3 most dissapointing?! You’re fucking insane. That had got to be one of the most pure fun games I’ve played in years. All my friends agree. Hell, most of the internet likely agrees. Fucking retarded.
It’s an opinion.
He can’t route for everyone to agree upon this. Chill out will yah! If you enjoyed Saint’ss Row 3. Then so be it. Just there are no need to get all hyped and defensive.
Good list. Glad DA2 was on it because the game was a huge disappointment for me. I loved the original but couldn’t get past the FIRST TOWN on DA2 because it was so different in all the wrong ways. They messed up how you fight, in favor of these “super quick ninja” attacks, which fail to deliver the appealing force that slow powerful attacks bring. Even with a 2H you swing non stop at the speed of light. It was ridiculous. The mage swinging the staff all over the place was even worse. Have these idiots never played something like World of Warcraft? Or better yet, their own game that DA2 was a sequel to???
I also hated War of the North right out of the gate. I quit right at the sewer, probably not even an hour in. I mainly had issues with the game just trying to run. The FPS was in the single digits even if I was just standing still looking AT A WALL. I had to butcher the settings down to minimum just to make it playable. Keep in mind I said “playable”, not “ideal fps”. Also keep in mind that I have a comp that ran WoW Cata at MAX SETTINGS everywhere doing anything at 60+FPS. I also ran Deux Ex at 60FPS with settings maxed out right in the heavily detailed cities or gunfights. I can do that, yet I can’t run War of the North above 10fps without having everything gutted to the lowest possible settings? Clearly the game was just coded extremely badly. The graphics looked disgustingly bad, but it forced that on me if I wanted a double digit FPS. I couldn’t tolerate having to choose between 5FPS or 1998 level graphics for very long. But even if you didn’t share my issues, you still have to look at the fact that it’s a boring, bland, button masher.
I was surprised Duke Nukem didn’t get a spot, but I’m sure it’ll be on the “worst of” list. That one was also a fucking joke. They had to have known how bad it was. It even showed in the game. It was a “salvaged” hunk of junk that was rushed out at the door in order to cash in on any money left in the Duke fanbase. Barely any effort shows in the final version of the game. It reminds me of 2005 shooters like Perfect Dark, but even that game makes Duke Nukem look like a piece of trash by comparison. That game was 10x more fun. Go get that instead. Compare the 2 and you’ll see what I mean.
The first town/city in DA2 is actually where you spend the entire game at except when you go out into the wilderness in other words There is only one town/city.
I was considering getting the Jurassic Park game, but for some reason I just could not talk myself into getting it. After watching some game play footage I’m kinda glad I didn’t get it. I did buy War in The North and the special edition one at that. War in The North was ok but it was plagued with glitches that took almost two months to get a patch for. I was really looking forward to Duke Nukem when it came out but luckily a friend of mine got it first all I have to say is thank god I didn’t get it lol.
Crysis 2 would have to be in this list
It was a really good game, the multiplayer just sucked until the major patches finally came and now it’s relatively playable.
Yeah I can’t even play MP (damn 360, I miss my ps3 so much) but I loved it. Had what I loved about COD MW games (being able to shoot through walls, enemies reacting to gunshots instead of shrugging it off) but with the addition of superpowers which makes it pretty damn entertaining.
Of course I never got to play the first, I head the destructible environments and open areas really set it apart, I hope they make a console remake at some point. That sounds like everything I liked about FC2 but actually done right.
Hello,
yep all are disappointing but Duke Nukem should be number 1. Everybody was hoping it would be like F#CKIN HEAVEN and what we got was…. 12 year old dokei.
oh well can’t wait for Worst Games 2011… we all know what will be numer one. ROFL!!
Later, thanks for the top 10.
FuriousAngelPT
That will no doubt be on his Worst Of list. Trust me. I also expect to see Mindjack and Thor.
A great video – there are some many degrees of quality from good to bad, and its good to see an analysis that takes into account more than just the bare bones, but puts the games in a relatable context. It’s hard to disagree about Saints Row the Third – Man, I was so annoyed, I loved 2 so much.
Though I would certainly agree Dragon Age 2 was disappointing given what it could have been, and I would go so far as to say it had so many issues (structure, copy paste dungeons et al) that I shouldn’t be able to still like it as much as I do, but somehow I do still really like it.
Oh I was a bit down on it at first, but even though it had numerous gameplay issues and story problems (it did feel like the acts of the story had little connection – though some – and was building up to a giant , epic story and then it ends just as the awesome world encompassing stuff is about to start), I foudn myself really attached to the story on reflection and second playthough.
It was different than I was expecting, far different in tone to the first game, and it was in places lazy or rushed (like Mass Effect 1′s identical bases), and a little sloppily put together in story with some irritating gameplay issues, and overall did feel like a prelude to something more awesome, but they made me care about that city I initially raged at being stuck in, they made me care about Hawke and about the conflict between the Circle and Templars (er, Circle, maybe if we didn’t have to fight thousands of blood mages the templars wouldn’t have so much of a point, excessive thought they are) and the world shattering implications.
It was a disappointment from what it could have been, but with the improvements there, and by putting more time and effort into the next one, and I am optimistic for a fantastic next installment, and this one remains good. Amazing given its flaws really, so it’s hard to argue its place on a list like this.
Sorry for rambling, the idea of a ‘most disppointing’ list just got me thinking.
dragon age 2 was also dissapointing though I did love the combat system which I felt was more action packed and it does have its moments, but the fact that you are participating in political bullshit instead of saving the world at large was just stupid while the whole mage vs templar thing sounds intreasting it didnt really become relevent to anything but cause a big war to which will tear the world apart. so yes the world ends because of politcal bullshit thanks anders yeah I hate anders for what reason well lets see he kills the only person in kirkwall who was keeping the two factions from killing eachother and causing said war I hope he dies in the next game, of course I should mention I like the prefomances especially from kate mulgrew as flemmeth holy shit she knows how to play a character who can creep.
yeah meant to finish with creep you out, sorry I type fast
You can stick a knife in Anders neck if you want to. I surely did.
Sooooooooooooooo agree about Dragon Age 2. Being a big fan of the first one I was really pissed off
thumbs up for adding mw3 on worst games of 2011
Is that why your name stands for Mother Of All Bombs?
yes
*Duckface*
yeah your going to be disapointed in rage as am I simply because it has a fucking cliffhanger ending no I am not kiddding a fucking cliffhanger ending and not one that is intense and something that gets you wating for the next one oh no just you press a button something happens and the end.
Well those results were a bit shocking, but at the same time, understandable. And to be honest, I liked Dragon Age 2…kinda. Well okay, the DLC involving the Hawke family made me keep my disc, and there are some interesting sidequests. But yeah, I can sum up the game in one word: Filler. Jurassic Park, again, only saw a Let’s Play of somebody, and the story seemed decent at best. Kept me entertained at least. Still, despite my likes, that doesn’t mean gaming companies can slack off with games like these and make more disappointing or bad games. And the two above barely make my cut for like.
And yes, my likes are indeed questionable, even to me. Hell, I liked the Transformers movie! 2 and 3 though stunk.
Can’t wait to see the worst of the litter this year! Could there be a game worse than Mindjack? I pray not…
man saints row the third on the PC is WAY more beter that saints row 2 on the PC i give Saints Row The Third a 8/10
Yeah, Dragon Age 2 would have topped the list for me, but then I have neither played Saints Row 2 nor the third part. Too much of an over-the-top scenario for me and I don’t enjoy playing the bad guy.
What’s happening at BioWare? I am also quite disappointed with Star Wars: The Old Republic ( and I think it’ll make Joe’s list of disappointing games for 2012 ), so Mass Effect 3 is my last best hope.
I can respect this list Joe, I really do. I’m glad that you admitted you were to soft on some games because of personal love (Michael Jackson: The Experience), but why isn’t Duke Nukem Forever on the list? It could have easily taken the 1st place. It’s one of the most hyped games ever and failed to deliver on almost all parts.
I’ll be looking forward to your Worst of list as well.
Because that’s going to be on his WORST OF list, obviously. I can see why Duke Nukem was left off of this one… because no one with brains would have had any expectations anyway. It wasn’t really a disappointment… because you knew it was going to suck before you ever touched it. This is a list of games that didn’t live up to expectations, plain and simple.
Most of these I haven’t played.
But I certainly agree with Dragon Age. It looked better at it’s release, sort of. But in the masses that 2011 offered it wasn’t much more then a numb thumb in comparison. Great additions. Fast action based combat and able to interact with your own character. Everything else… meh! Even if equipping your allies took precious time in Origins, it was almost immensely worth the load, seeing as they actually changed appearance.
And another thing…. Spoilers. Even if you somewhat killed one of your supposedly companions. Remember the assassin… Well apparently he’s still alive in DA2. That doesn’t seem right is all.
And what’s about this name… Dragon age… Your meant to fight dragons. Sure there were many small ones. But only one female and one adult. The rest was merely the same soldiers proving on and on, being the only true challenge you were given.
Yeah looks like I have enough to say about this, nevertheless it was the worst case of scenario to me, as I haven’t buckled up with Saint’s Row the 3rd.
Asked a friend though, and he wasn’t by as entertained like the 2nd. Like a dildo… Seem to me the creators behind it were rather desperate on winning a different crowd, rather then please the true fans of the series. I ain’t saying no more though, because like I said, haven’t touched it. And considering there’s way more out there that would crave the attention, considering their the better. I’m just going to say. Looks boring.
Sword of the Stars. I was actually thinking this would be my first strategy game on the PC after finally upgrading my old one. Thanks for the video however, I’ve been reluctant, picking this up until I receive some confirmation that it is fixed.
Nevertheless, thanks for the video Joe, looking forwards to the Worst and most Anticipated.
no duke nukem? expected it to be number 1. anyway nice list
duke nukem will be on the worst games list
We want a 10 most anticipated games of 2012!
Nice video joe and a pretty good list of disappointing games. I only disagree with you a tiny bit with x-men destiny as I thought that it was a horrible game and not at all a mediocre one.
However for myself I had a good year as all but one of the games that I was looking forward too were really good. That game was Dragon Age 2 and even then I found that it was mediocre as I felt that the only really bad thing was the lack of rpg elements, where as things like the characters and story were just okay. Also I am probably the only one who will ever say this but I actually kind of liked the visuals and art style as it was more stylistic and I always like visuals that are more stylistic than realistic. And while I don’t think that they mesh with DA origins all that well it was still good art direction. ( and yes I did prefer DA origins visuals/art style more but not by that big of a margin)
Yeah… Is a shame what Bioware did to the Dragon Age franchise. Is more like DA: 1.5 than DA: 2. The Witcher 2 and Skyrim are so much better than DA: 2.
After playing both Wither 2 and Skyrim I completely forgot DA:2 even existed until Joe would mention them in his reviews.
What happened to Brink? You were pumped for that game and it didn’t live up to it’s lofty expectations at all.
agree with most, specially the number 1!
also lol @ everybody who downvoted me when I said joe rated DA2 too high
I remember that! DAAAAAAAAANG!!!
Who’s getting the shaft now?
I’m still not getting your hate for Saints Row the Third, it should NOT have been number one. You know why? (I enjoyed it, my friends enjoy it, the top comments for this game on youtube enjoyed it) But what could be worse you may ask (In Joe’s opinion I say), how about the game we waited 15 years for that not only sucked really hard but left an entire nation of fans sad, depressed, and in the feeble position and yet didn’t even get mentioned on this list… two words, DUKE NUKEM! Oh but to Joe Saints Row the Third (A relatively good game, easily a 7 or
is apparently just too criminal to let slide.
I’m not trolling I’m just saying this is probably Joe’s worst list from that perspective alone.
*(A relatively good game, easily a 7 or 8 ) lol
Read the title again:its most diasppointing games of 2011. saint row 3 is a good game, but failed to deliver what joe expected. In the other hand, just like me, he had no expectation or hope for Duke nukem forever. by the look of the trailer, he knew that game would suck hard.thats why DNF isnt on this list, but on Top 10 worst games of 2011.
I believe he’s saving that for his worst games of 11 and why not?
