Sol = Sun (Swedish, Norwegian and Danish)
Just so you know…
*Im bored…*
Are you sure this is created in Texas? With that sort of religious plot?
Texas is known for that kind of thing. Don’t flatter yourself.
At this point in time, you can’t tell me it woudln’t be badass for lucasarts remake the X-wing and TIE fighter games.
Well, i´m looking forward for the next part of the X-Franchise. I hope you will make a review of that too Joe!
Freelancer. the best space combat sim ever!
Joe, have you ever played Starlancer or Tachyon ? If so, what do you think of them ?
Personally, I never really played Freespace 2 but still play Starlancer again and again whenever I have the urge to play a space sim. This one is probably my favorite (and it had coop support over lan ! ).
I’d actually like to see the Space combat genre make a come back to were it’s been long over do and most places it’s never been hardly, like Battlestar Galactica, even if there was one game for the PS2.
Ive always wondered why music credits arent listed at the end of each episode. Id like to know what song was used when the 5/10 score popped. ~12:50 time mark i think.
Hey Joe! i love your show, and like you my heart was plumbered wen sierra cancel the Babylon 5 game… but please take a look here http://ifhgame.ru/main/ im shure you would love it.
Greets From colombia!!
hey tell me if you think these are games they should review if so vote up
prototype 2 hey he did the first one
apb reloaded good game if you have everything for it
ill look for alternatives
this game looks….eh
You also might enjoy Darkstar One
The game looks realy good and yea the women look hot
but the graphics look awsome and to be honest SWTOR was boring after about 30hours so I’ll be trying tera as soon as i can
“Wing Commander: The Movie,” or as I like to call it: Star Wars for @$$holes (No Prequel Trilogy hate comments, please)
7:01- Was that ship made out of some rubber metalic alloy?
I really like the Star Wars inspirations in this game.
I’d also love to see new space combat games. LucasArts should make a new Star Wars space combat game like X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter or Rogue Squadron.
I remeber the joystick….I loved WingCommander3. The acting was way better than the movie. =D
If you like space shooters there’s also Egosoft’s X series; its also an economic/trading simulator too. You should check out X-Rebirth when it comes out sometime this year.
I got to say, this game is really wort getting a joystick.
As someone who remembers the old joystick days, its nice to see the genre hasn’t been completely abandoned. Flight simulation just isn’t the same without a ‘stick. That being said, some of the design choices in this game are just WEIRD. Starfighters are not made of RUBBER!
Amen brother. I remember the days of Freespace / Freespace 2, Wing Commander, and the various Jane’s combat flight sims. I’ll give this game a look.
Crap, i’m really late with this, but are you aware that there’s a very high-quality FREE game based on Babylon 5 built with the Freespace 2 engine? You should really try it, you don’t even need the original Freespace 2 to play it.
There’s also the Freespace 2 SCP, with media VPs 3.6.12 Freespace 2, a 13 year old game looks like a modern piece of software, i couldn’t believe it was the same game when i saw it.
And if you lost your FS2 disc you can get it from GOG for like 5$.
If you do decide to try it out, be sure to check out mods like Blue Planet and Wings of Dawn, both are very good campaigns that bring some new gameplay to the table.
There is also a total conversion mod for Freespace 2 called Wing Commander Saga.
