WTF. No sooner do I finish Star Wars Kinect does Namco Bandai announce “Dragonball Z Kinect”, notice the equally clever game title! I’m not joking, this is real. Check out the God awful trailer!
This looks fucking horrible. Stop destroying my childhood, lol. I loved DBZ. STOP IT!
I don’t even need to review this sh*t to tell you its garbage. Look at this picture below and tell me if you notice anything wrong ALREADY! But of course, if you want me to review it ANYWAY then let me know. (P.S. I hate you)

Well.. I must admit that this shit looks so goddamn gay as hell and im a huge DBZ fan. But at least it’s better than Sonic Free Riders.
If you review it, make it short as hell. Don’t torture yourself with this, it looks like shit and we all know it will be.
The person doing the narration of the trailer couldn’t even pronounce the word saiyan correctly for crying out loud.
No. Saiyan was pronounced correctly. that’s the original Japanese pronunciation.
Oh my…Again!? Really!? Ok first off, you obviously have no idea what you’re saying. Not to be rude, but that is total BULLCRAP! This excuse is everywhere, i’ve had enough. What you stated is a flat out lie and It’s as FALSE as can be. The japanese pronunciation of “Saiyan” is not “Sion” it is “Sai-ya-jin”. Saiyan is the english dub, if he were speaking about the original japanese dub he would have said “A super saiyajin!” NOT “Super saion” Notice there was no JIN in the phrase.
I’m so tired of people putting out excuses for this. He screwed up! Stop deluding yourselves into thinking this was on purpose, this could be a warning for the game to come. I don’t know who started spreading this excuse around but it’s annoying to see people believe such a thing without doing any actual research to see if the claim is true. Buy some japanese dub DVD’s, watch some clips online, heck just play some of the games with japanese audio-you will only hear saiyajin.
Joe, I won’t ask you to torture yourself with this crap. If you do a review, I will watch for the lulz, but i know you didn’t want to play this horror.
The narrator didn’t even say saiyan right! WTF!!! This is one of my favorite shows and they gotta mess it up! Reviewing is up to you, Joe. I’m not forcing you to.
what i think is that this game is going to be really really boring i mean the only thing that makes dragon ball awesome is the over the top fights and the kamehamehas and all that but the kinect only makes a weird boxing game with punch-kicks and punch-kamehamehas
I say review it (but please don’t hate me) i would love to see you destroy it both in the review and in real life

And I would like you to do a review, it looks bad enough that it could be funny ripping in to it. But I would try like a demo or something to be sure. If it’s just boring crap instead of so crap it becomes funny, don’t even bother.

well, the first thing i saw wrong on the pic was trunks kicking and the guy playing was punching. Secondly it looks like they got trunks’ hair wrong, and his sword. But the worst thing i see is that there are quick time events in a kinect game.
Umm first of all its rated pegi 12. PEGI 12! It’s shit regardless but after sonic free riders joe I don’t think you should put yourself through it if you don’t want to.
Judging by the trailer, it looks like a “rhythm” game, using the term very loosely. A odd choice. Maybe teaching kids fight choreography?
Can’t we like, ban Developers making poor games? Whats the point of looking forward to next gen if we still get damn awful games like this?
This is awful. The gameplay looks subpar at best and the graphics are terrible. The announcer didn’t even pronounce the word saiyan right! That’s a really bad sign. I also like how the game is telling you to punch when Trunks is clearly doing a kick in that picture you posted. Why the hell can’t they just make another DBZ Budokai game? Those games were awesome. Anyway I think you should just skip this one Joe. I don’t see any point in reviewing it unless you’re a masochist.

This could work for kids that need to get that energy out. However for the rest of humanity it will not work. Let’s be fair for the voice actor here by the way, he’s just saying what Namco wants him to say. But that doesn’t mean we can’t tear Namco a new one. Namco… learn how to sell stuff!
Now for the gameplay, it looks like the Kinect will work well… considering all you have to do is punch. Give SWK credit, at least you can do more than punch. If all you have to do is punch, then this is just lazy and we have to let Namco know.
By the way Joe? Review this… most of your fanbase loves DBZ and we want justice for this. And if it’s better than Namco is showing it, we wanna know.

Okay, I’m just going to say this but judging from impressions of the trailer this actually seems more like a dancing game in which they are going to give you choreographed movements to perform in each fight. Its going to suck, and probably suck harder then Star Wars Kinect.
Okay, I bought Ultimate Tenkachi…
Why would I buy a Kinect to just BUY IT AGAIN. No joke, most of the scenes from the gameplay are ripped straight from Ultimate Tenkachi, which was a disappointment already. But hey, at least it’s in first person and lets you flail your arms around to perform the kamehameha. Huh, already sounds better then Ultimate Tenkachi at least.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d like to do the Kamehameha Wave move and actually have it happen…but when the announcer can’t even pronounce Saiyan correctly…you know marketing doesn’t even give a f**k…and that the game is probably bad. Plus the kid they used didn’t look like he was even into it.
AND to be currently rewatching the ENTIRE Dragonball saga (from Dragonball episode 1 to the final episode of GT), this announcement saddens me.
