Luckily I was able to tell it was shit the moment I saw the trailer.
3/10 seems about right. only reason its not a 1/10 is because as you said, could give some laughs. its like a birthday present no one wants and keeps cycling back and forth between your friends.
Id love to see kinect star wars working with the moves as they should be working.

wow HOLY SHIT , i can’t believe this lucas f–ked this game up so bad , seems a lotta potentially great game ideas are getting turned to crap by kinect , glad i haven’t wsted money on a kinect yet , and to think i almost did buy one because i herd about this game….This stuff looks more like ametuer parody vids you find all over the web, doesn’t look like any kind of serious game fans like my self would give to rat nuts about.

ironically the characters choices have a more diverse species choice then SWTOR (a species that isn’t remotely human looking (Mon Calimarian, and i think i saw a Bith))

So while this game looks interesting, the game itself fails. It fails to deliver a good story like other Star Wars games, it fails to deliver quality voice acting, and it fails at it’s core element of being a Kinect game. Mainly, it’s broken.
If you want to be a Jedi, play Jedi Academy. Or better still, pick up Knight’s of the Old Republic. I’m sure anyone’s computer these days could handle that 2003 game. Want a Pod Racing game? There are many other Pod Racing and other racing games to pick up so one shouldn’t waste money on this. Dancing? It’s fun and all, hell it’s the best part, but it can’t carry the whole game since it is just a clone of Dance Central. I know I’m a Clone but at least I can do something different. Rancor game is distracting for a little while but it can only distract you for so long.
It’s a failure of a game. Pass it and hope to whatever deity of messiah you believe in that a new and GOOD Star Wars game is on the way.

hey, just posting to say this new video player you’ve got has been terrible in my experience! I can’t even watch videos, it wont let me pre-load them and I internet is too slow to stream them on the spot. Hope you consider a different format, I know I’ve seen a couple other comments about it.
I remember seeing sneak-peaks of this game at the ECCC. All I could think of was, “Wow. This game looks absolutely terrible.”
I agree that the Kinect is really only good for dancing games. Playing the Dance Central games was the only time I’ve ever had any fun on a Kinect. It doesn’t really surprise me too much that the dancing portion of this game is the best part. It is a big slap in the face for hardcore fans, but dancing games is what the Kinect does best. Heck, I wouldn’t even mind renting the game just to try the dancing portion of this game. XD I would never actually buy this game though, for it’s not worth the money to play only a small portion of the game that’s basically just a rip-off of the Dance Central games.

KotOR 2 was pretty good, but it required an entire, dedicated, Restoration Project to get it running the way it should have.
I don’t blame Obsidian, but instead I blame EA for pushing them for a holiday release. At least Obsidian included the files in the PC version hoping that dedicated modders would pick up.
But yeah, most Star Wars games have been flops, but I remember Battlefront I and II to be ridiculously fun while Star Wars The Clone Wars, while rather obscure, was fun in it’s own way (I may be biased though considering it was one of the first Star Wars games I played and I’m remembering most of this off of Nostalgia).

That also means that your way of thinking is what is responsible for bringing us the Star Wars Prequels, the Transformers Films (I use the term loosely) and other blatant attempts to profiteer off of decent concepts without giving a shit for the concept itself.
Well, I’m glad I hold some blame for the Prequels in your warped imagination. Because I really enjoy the Prequel films. In fact, I like them as much if not more than many of the OT films. I saw The Phantom Menace like 20 times in the theater back in ’99 I enjoyed it so much.
