many want to play this game and will become avengers super hero this Halloween, I bet it gonna be huge.
Awesome use of the early Ichigo theme from Bleach.. _0_ You guys own.
I’d recognize that music anywhere! It’s remixed but that is the music that plays when Ichigo is about to kick some ass. It’s called Number One, is that the music from the game or did you add that yourself Joe?
Yeah, what Pete said, but back to the point I was going to make.
You could have the best game in the world but if you throw kinect into the mix it makes it worse, that’s scientifically proven.
The original idea for the kinect, the one that had a few extra parts that made it actually work, would have been been way more impacting on the market because it would have been useful. As it is I understand the kinect to be broken because they simplified the design to stay in budget.
I remember hearing claims that project natal would be able to track your fingers. That soon went quiet.
What happened to light guns? I loved those! I’m sure I’ve seen versions of light guns that work with LCD screens.
Joe, this game sucks and here’s why
1) It’s a movie Licence
2) You have to do stupid poses that sometimes look like nazi salutes and can make you fall over. There are not fighting stances. if you did this shit in a street fight your only chance of winning is by confusion of or pity from your opponent. It doesn’t feel like a fight.
3) It’s a Kinect Game, All kinect games thus far have been shit unless it’s a dance game. Why do dance games work and other don’t, well that’s cos the game is playing you, not you playing the game. Dance games tell you ‘do this at this time’, you do it you get a point, you don’t do it, you don’t get a point. It’s just possible for the kinetic to process this but it seems anything beyond that and you’re gonna have an unplayable game on your hands.
Oh and I’d agree that a H4N would get you way better audio but I think you know all this and just wanted to play anyhow. You could probably get a little lapel mic for it and just leave it running all day. Some people might find that a bit weird though. lol
Joe, can I suggest a field recorder next time instead of relying on the camera mic alone? The Zoom H4N is a nice one that I think you’d appreciate a great deal

Ok, I really didn’t expect Bleach music to pop up here. But I really like that music, so I am only happy. Does Joe watch Bleach?
And, about the game, I don’t want to praise it just now, but it finally looks like a good kinect non-dancing game.
Listening to the audio you can hear a bit of distortion, it was probably playing in an adjacent booth. What game’s coming out that would have that song i don’t know, but that’s what it sounds like to me. It doesn’t sound like it was added during the editing.

What a load of whoreshit. The official Kinect games drastically decrease interactivity while requiring the player to flail around like a grumpy child at the supermarket. I can’t physically use it anyway. At least controllers only excluded those who didn’t have hands, the Kinect excludes those with any problem – be it back, shoulder, or knee. That’s A LOT of good people.

This looks really lackluster. Both characters just stand there facing each other the whole time and it looks like it’s going to be very spammy.

ah kinect is such a failure. it responds and does random things . wonder how kinect 2.0 will be 2013-14.
Hopefully it’ll be multiple kinect devices placed all around you to detect your movements better. I doubt they’ll do that since it sounds costly. I hope they find a way to make it waaaay better…

Looks like they just used the PowerUp Heroes engine to make a crappy tie-in game. I like the idea, but it looks like it isn’t much improved over PowerUp Heroes, which was disappointingly awkward.
