Ha! The premise being a dumb foxy blonde ripping zombies to pieces with a chainsaw? I may be a dumbass for this, but that sounds awesome to me. Damn, just the name and the cover sold it to me.

Joe your fucking awesome. Love ur videos. Informative with the right amount of funny, you and your team do it like no one else. Lollipop was a game that i looked at but probably wouldn’t have bought at full price. Now that i’ve seen ur video i would buy it but only at a bargain price. Thanks and keep up the good work. i think the lollipop chainsaw is pretty damn good for real they really need to make a lollipop chainsaw 2 because that was the best zombie game i ever played

Once again, one of thoose games that I would love to play, sadly not possible being a PC gamer. Looks like a hell of a fun. Oh well…

This is refreshing after so many FPS’s, so I don’t complaint that much. However it’s too short and Zombie Baseball is a disaster, plus is zombies again. I wouldn’t mind the zombies that much if the game industry haven’t overused it for terror, they could have used werewolves or demons or even aliens, but for what it is, it’s quite good and the fact that is arcade type makes it better, plus comedy is quite good. 7/10

Hmm. This feels like the pilot episode for a franchise. Like they couldn’t greenlight the budget for a full fledged game without first demonstrate a working model. Maybe they’ll be a Lollipop Chainsaw 2 that acts more like a full fledged title. In the meantime, the present score seems about right at the moment.
P.S. Zombie Baseball isn’t a review-worthy problem Joe. Sorry to say it but you simply sucked at it lol. Got it simply enough after two tries: Nick is bait. You are the trap. Keep your cursor covered over him, let the zombies enter your line of sight, shoot them. Easy. Straightforward. There nothing broke about it lol.

the game is a little too short in my opinion
Given the concept and the fact that it is not a large-scale title, I am rather impressed with what they did. Is it sub-par? Yes. Could it have been better? Yes. Is it incredibly fun and charming? HECK YES!

needs more weapons..more lvls..witch would add more bosses and longer crazy story line..and better mini games..but from just watching the review i already feel i played the game…so ill just wait untill price drops ($20 or less)

Anyway, ya I agree with your assessment here.
I’m kind of surprised you haven’t played any Suda games before.
Shadows of the damned was pretty great.
You have to know with Suda, though… he always uses old mechanics in his games and they are usually stylistically and often story wise better then the game play (maybe arguably- but like I love Shadows of the Damned, but there is some really awful sections in that game).
Still, though, he makes boss battles better then anyone else currently. As far as I’m concerned it seems like most everyone else ignores them these days. Suda is the of the few that still goes for it- and they’re almost always really awesome.
So, ya. Just know, Suda makes really great games but not generally because of the mechanics behind the game play.
I think he’s great because he’s not afraid to try stuff no one else will. I just hope he’s able to keep doing it.

The game is improved when you occasionally close your eyes and imagine it’s Timmy Turner killing zombies and speaking that dialogue.
A lot of the things that were negatives to Joe (the beat-em-up format for example) were actually positives for me. I can’t stand first-person shooters and MMORPGs (which is why I very rarely buy new games), and I had a TON of fun playing this game. Also, the running time didn’t bother me, I think a 15+ hour version of this game would have been overkill.
This game is somewhere in between the reward and purchase money reward.

And because of the unique style, even thought the gameplay is somewhat stiff I really think it's worth the money.
It's something you play with a smile on your face, for once not knowing what will come up next. It was really just a refreshing experience that reminded my what gaming really is.
Zombie baseball was so easy. Just stick with aiming mode and it’s a piece of cake. I did it first try. Can’t believe so many people complained about that. PErsonally, I loved the ga,e. So much charm and once you unlock mor emoves, it’s even more fun. Gonna be doing plenty of replays for the cheevos.
Ok, let’s admit it, how many viewers/players gave the game higher rating than it deserves just for the looks of the main character?
Too bad crazy games like this are not for PC.
Btw, Sarah Michelle Gellar is way better Buffy than the movie one

Dragonforce sucks, but at least they have the older FFDP, not the new album. Been wanting this game also, however, like you said, I don’t think it’s worth sixty-dollars. I’ve been disappointed by a few to many games that came out already this year that weren’t worth the sixty I paid.
