Set in a gothic-noir universe resembling a fantastical 19th century Europe filled with monsters, magic, and weird technology, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing will follow the son of the famed hunter, known in-game as Van Helsing, in a tale wrought with wry humor and snappy dialogue.

Went over to Neocore Games, who I believe is making this and I really wasn’t impressed with their presentation. Maybe they have improved the game since they released the videos. However, it looks too much like a zombie game where there is only one of you facing thirty some odd monsters at the same time as your being chased to some unknown destination. It also looks like if you get stuck, your dead so your always having to move. (again these things could change when it is actually released) The graphics themselves look alright, but there seems to be a difference between what they are showing to be graphics for “cutscenes” and gameplay. This wouldn’t be so bad except that they don’t tell you what the graphics that are promoted are going to be.

This is another disappointingly solid no for me as of now.

Nope, this game is gonna suck. We know movie licenses are crap, so take a somewhat crappy movie and put it in game format, you’ll get a complete disaster!
