THe biggest problem with gamer fans of the game is that they always expect the real-life actor to LOOK THE FREAKING SAME. that’s stupid

That’s really secondary to the real question, how cohesive and well-written will the story be? the direction? the budget… all these things

in my opinion great games are better than movies in a way. they last longer, make you more invested in the charecter, and the badass moments you actually do them! (well with a controller but you get what i mean) i think the movie should expand on the charecter, maybe show altiar’s rise to the master assassin seeing as though we already have the game

Good point there..the most they do is pick an american to try to immitate the foreign accent and looks and whatnot. I for one actually liked Prince of Persia, so since this is gonna have an even bigger production value, that’s all good news.

I can’t ever see Bethesda letting someone outside the company interpreted
their game for a movie. Bethesda likes having everything in house… which is probably why they still haven’t gone down the suck road yet. But we’ll see what happens with this MMO coming up.

If Adam Sandler was in that movie, regardless how much I love the game, I wouldn’t go see it. Adam sandler hasn’t been funny since his SNL days.

I always pegged Adam Sandler as the best Desmond impersonator. I mean hell, they look the freaking same! I gotta say, I would pay any amount of cash to see that. No matter how much he would likely flub it up.

I’m gonna be interested to see how this works, after all most of the game was spent gathering information the same way nine times, which could be good but only if they do it right

The only movie I saw near success was the Prince of Persia, but I have a bad feeling about this one. Not to be negative but AC is something based on history while maintaining fantasy at work, something Hollywood can’t do well. Unless is directed by someone that knows about both history and the assassins purpouse, it will fail…
