Steam Summer Sale 2012 is now OPEN!
SUH-WEET! For once, it’s a good thing to be a cheap-skate, like myself.
The Steam Summer Sale is finally back, and today there are a lot of great deals going on from today, all the way until the 22nd. Ten full days of discount games, some of which you can actually vote on if you have something in mind! So hope you’ve all saved up a lot of cash, cause now it’s time to vote with your wallets on some amazing games!
If you want my recommendations, I highly suggest Terraria! Imagine Minecraft, but with more RPG like elements weaved into the mix. A great game and a real time sink, it’s going for $2.50 today! Trust me, it’s really fun and worth every single red cent. Also, there are some games that Joe himself has featured in his videos, so why not try them out?
Now let’s hear from you guys, are you expecting a certain game to go on sale, will you be buying more than one game, are there other websites besides Steam offering huge sales? Talk amongst yourselves. ;3

FROZEN SYNAPSE trust me Joe I know your taste and you would give it a 9 and please do a review on it!!!
It is a non ral time strategy game, the best one out there, just pure cold strategy!!
If you will see my comment you must play it!!!
g
So far I’ve picked up Two Worlds 2- good call on this one Joe, Frozen Synapse (not played this oen yet) and a game called EYE- Divine Cybermancy (not played this one yet but it was really, really cheap)
Angry joe DEFINITELY needs to review E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy!! It WILL make great video, trust me joe, you will most probably not enjoy the game, but what do I know? Maybe there’s a chance this game will grow on you. To my knowledge though, the review that comes closest to what I expect from E.Y.E is your review of MINDJACK. That’s right… it was, SO INCREDIBLY FUNNY. I need to see this review. Also, don’t forget to try the COOP mode.
I bought Terraria + Trine + Trine 2 + L4D + L4D2 + Borderlands GOTY for 20e
I got shogun 2, rise of the samurai and fall of the samurai for £20!
My wallet’s practically leaping out of my butt pocket as we speak! Thanks for bringing that to my attention!
On another note, I was wondering if there was any way of becoming an author for this site. I enjoy video games and drawing, and would love to contribute comics to the site too. If you think Joe would prefer I just submit work to the fan art page, I would completely understand. Thanks!
I’m not sure what he’d do, but more fanart would be appreciated, hell, if somebody can link me to some Angry Army related fanart, I’d happily make some posts on the main page!
Buy Crusader Kings II (if you do not have it)! It is one of the best games out there.
read this post, got on steam and saw Grimrock for $5.99 and could not resist the temptation. Thanks for the heads up Joe!
Just got every Deus Ex Game, all the DLC for them, the Back to the Future Game(s) by Telltale, and Just Cause 2 for only $45.
I love the Summer Sale!
50% off on Tropico 4!? NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you didn’t notice I’m suggesting Tropico 4…
MOAR FUCKING VIDEOS AJ NAO
Nice idea, but it’s just the same stuff that’s ALWAYS on sale to begin with, and mainly stuff that everybody has played/ everyone that would have played them already owns.
If I didn’t have most already I’d get the Telltale pack, 6 games for the price of about 2 of em. THQ collection is also pretty good, for the price of 1 game you get a load of great games. The Bethesda one could do with more games and less DLC but Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas is a few hundred hours of gaming alone.
And of course I have to big up the indie bundle 1, great value for a few great indie games.
Here are some games I suggest, Bioshock, STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM, if you have never played Bioshock do it. NOW, don’t even think about getting anything else before Bioshock. I know it might sound ridiculous, I mean who hasn’t played bioshock? A lot, trust me, $10
Okay here are some suggestions in no particular order, Portal 2, Left For Dead 2, The Walking Dead, Valve Complete Pack (depending on how many valve games you own), Arma 2 (but just for DayZ), Sam and Max Complete Pack, and thousands more, but I just can’t go on…
STOP, you’ve violated the law! By not suggesting Oblivion after just quoting basically the “arrow in the knee” joke of the game.
Please, it never reached the level of arrow in the knee. Also with the positive reviews of Skyrim here it seems like Oblivion is already played by everyone
Also, The Elder Scrolls series sucks.
^HERESY!!! In all seriousness though, I do need to play the Bioshock games still, it’s on my cheapskate bucket list.
Phill, not gonna lie. My first reaction to this post was… “Did Phill get hacked?”
