Ahaa, its good dialogue concerning this post here at this web site,
I have read all that, so at this time me also commenting here.
My brother suggested I would possibly like this web site.
He used to be entirely right. This post actually made my day.
You can not believe simply how so much time I had spent for this info!
I was wondering why when you do reviews that you don’t mention how the game’s base code came from another game like Wildstar/City of Heroes? There are dozens of games that are based on a previous games code so things like chars, mobs and UI are pretty much the same. This should be a big factor in any review anyone does. I noticed these recycled games years ago and never hear anyone talking about it.
Simply want to say your article is as astounding. The clearness on your post is just nice and that
i could suppose you are knowledgeable in this subject.
Well together with your permission let me to grasp your feed to stay updated with forthcoming post.
Thanks 1,000,000 and please carry on the gratifying work.
Played 30 minutes to an hour of Wildstar, and uninstalled. The core gameplay mechanics were dull as dishwater. Outside of the admittedly entertaining art style/semi-comical tone and sci-fi setting, the game had a real ‘been there’ feeling to it. Not a patch on Guild Wars 2, or even The Old Republic. TESO is far and away a more innovative game, gameplay-wise. My time with Wildstar mainly inspired me to reinstall The Secret World, so it wasn’t a total wash.
Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. But think about
if you added some great pictures or video clips to give your posts more,
“pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this website could undeniably
be one of the very best in its niche. Terrific blog!
People that say the game is boring they havent played past lvl 15 when instances good pvp and housing starts. first 15 levels are indeed very tutorial-ish but after that the game blows. especially the end game raids and wraplots
Finally got to try this out. Lot of fun, if you’re into MMORPGs definitely check it out.
Very few bugs, funny characters. I tried out the Dominion side, and played one of the evil hampsters ;p Give it a shot if you’re bored, next Beta weekend.
you shad play halo wars it is a RTS
Heads up : Beta has started for this weekend ^^
Trying it out now for the first time. Lots of beta keys around, got mine through CURSE GAMING. Just google “april 4 beta key wildstar”.
Have fun dudes!
I saw an article that mentions will be opening beta this weekend starting at 7 p.m. Pacific Standard Time
hence scrambling for a beta key lol
hey guys! Anyone happen to have a wild star beta key they’re not using?
I watched your full review, Joe, and I know how you feel about slow start zones lol. Elder Scrolls online drove me insane for the first 8 hours. I haven’t picked it up since. But the combat looks a lot more interesting in this one. Would love to give it a try.
if anyone would like to trade a wildstar key for an elder scrolls online key, that isn’t activated, I probably have two or three of my email.
Here is what I see with this game so far. It looks like they have took a step back to the mmo days of WOW and FF XI I remember having to run around collect this talk to that person all just so it can show you the starting area and back then that was fine it was fun.
But since then mmo have made a huge leap in how they start there game like as Joe said GW2 but also games like Raderz and that fire something I keep forgetting what it is called. In Raderz in the starting area you get to fight a giant with a huge club and in the fire game you get to fly around with jet packs.
So when a game like Wild Star comes along with new ideas we get excited and hyped up but then let down with boring fetch quest again. I really hope they change the starting area and add something new and exciting or this will just fade like the 100 of other mmo out there.
I really like Wildstar, but I kinda like the aurin esper best
I have done the adventures, dungeons and made a house in the beta. To be honest i had verry little fun the first few hours. After that the game took a huge leap forward in content, story, enviorment and combat and much more.
i have also played the eso beta some weeks before. the first area (or starting area) was realy amazing….. i felt like ….. i wanna play this game …. i wanna play this game…. but then alll the other content after that was numbingly boring. so even tough im a huge fan of the franchise and the animation was reaaaaaaaly good (especialy the lighting)…. it pains me in my heart but when the next beta inv mail came i dropped the game…
so to be fair ill be sticking with wildstar, and i hope for the eso players, that the game will make some improvements during the next beta’s and remember : if you dont give good feedback, they will never improve! (gave both games a large amount myself)
I had the same exact experience with Elder Scrolls online lol. You don’t feel like a hero in it, you feel like you’re grocery shopping for NPCs. and what they did to the Argonian race is inhumane… They look like Ninja Turtles on acid…
I will be honest. I will go with the cheaper one… Whatever that comes out free.
Personally, I’ll be going with Wildstar. That said, I’m not gonna bash on ESO. Why is it that when someone prefers one game to another, they feel this overwhelming need to go out and bash the other game? Can’t you just play WoW or ESO or FFXIV and let the people who prefer their game to play in peace? Why must fandom spew such vitriol?
***Sums up Video***
Joe prefers the look of ESO.
If you are going for finest contents like I do, just visit this
site all the time because it provides quality contents, thanks
why would they make starting area so boring you would think they would make it start exciting to pull you in
omg soooo boring looking
Plz review path of exile and smite.
I like the humor, it looks nice. I like the art style, there is the business model that you can buy from the in game auction house. It’s on their website.
This formula is boring and its not a game at all
world of warcraft isnt a game its a choir and repetitive set of task with really no story line no plot no balance no point.
It also looked like that rouge class is op as hell just like in wow.
No game is perfect, that is something some dont want to hear. I agree that the starting areas are crap, especially compared to some that will really hook you and pull you in like Guild Wars 2 or even some of ESO, but it has it’s strengths as well which you outlined. a nice overall demo of it Joe
While I can’t say that I’m all that excited to sign up for it, the released videos for it are actually pretty good and somewhat funny. The evil Dominion being introduced by a snobbish human Dominion member, while the Exiles are introduced by a country accented hill Billie girl. They also don’t censor the language, which just makes it even funnier.
This game looks like would do better as an action adventure type game rather than an mmo, something along the lines of the Jak and Daxter or Ratchet and Clank games. They should go that route, but still let the player choose race and faction side, while still tailoring the game based on the gamer’s chosen profession. (Explorer, etc.)
To be blunt, there is little to no innovation here. Yes, there are in fact new creative classes / races to choose from. Yes those are pretty cool. Though the game has this going for it, it fails to escape the MMO hell of grind this and mash my hotbar… I’m waiting for the day someone takes a leap of faith and actually breaks this cliche. For example imagine an MMO RPG with the mechanics of say Demon Souls / Dark Souls… with a persistent universe and much much more. Yeah that does in fact sound cool.
The closest thing I’ve seen to a Dark Souls/Demon Souls MMO is Wizardry Online, which included permadeath of your character if you died too often. It was pretty much a persistent world dungeon crawler. Unfortunately, SOE will be shutting it down. If you want to check it out, I think there might still be time left. I actually never played it myself, but a friend did and seemed to like it for a little while:
Yeah, sorry to say that game looks really, incredibly boring…
seems a nice game, its clearly a new WoW and for fans of that series they should play this, im not really a fan of WoW also i dont like the cartoonish aspect of it but that is just my taste its not a bad thing of the game. i will prob skip this one.
Game looks AWFUL!!!
1st good review u always get me hyped for what ever game u reveiw
or should I say what ever u make look the most fun
Game looks awesome joe.
