Handsome Jack made it that much more epic...so many games in the future I want.

I am still excited about it of course, but I know it's not going to be "Borderlands" and rather a Telltale game with Borderlands characters in it.

Not a bad thing I'm just far less interested in it than I would be in say, a new Borderlands game or a Borderlands MMO.

Just awesome. I love Borderlands 2, it was my favourite game of 2012, played it for over 500 hours. Also, the Walking Dead was amazing, also one of my favourites. I just can't wait to see, what they will develop together. Borderlands 2 had a good story, but focus is on shooting all kinds of stuff and looting. It's really interesting to get a non-combat look at the world of Pandora as non-vault hunters. Telltale is sure going to be busy with four projects at the same time! This, Game of Thrones, The Wolf Among Us and the Walking Dead. Keep it up, Telltale!

I'll definitely play it when it comes out. I'm pretty interested in what they'll come up with, seeing as it's a Telltale...

All my want for this. If Handsome Jack is a main character and is half as funny and dark as he was in Borderlands 2, then this will be an entertaining game.

Is Anthony Burch writing this one? He really knocked it out of the park with Borderlands 2.

I like the idea, but I can't shake the feeling that Telltale is getting waaaaaay over their heads with doing FOUR series at once. They are capable of creating great games, but come on, four at once? I'm afraid that they'll cut back on the quality for the quantity. I hope they will prove me wrong.

The best things I want from this company are;

  • Any collaboration with VanillaWare or Atlus :3
  • Telltale + Phoenix Wright
  • Telltale + Japanese Manga; such as Ushio to Tora.

I heard about this and, at the time, I was conflicted. Thinking about it now, I'm still conflicted, but I understand more the reasons why I am.

First off, why I would NEED this game. And I say NEED because that is what having Telltale Games listed as a developer does to me. The Walking Dead was fully deserving of it's GotY awards last year. These guys KNOW storytelling, and they absolutely nailed the formula for it very early on and now they're really pushing out quality storyboarded content consistently. The fact that the games play a bit similarly actually plays in their favour, too - the gameplay format doesn't have to change, and neither does the engine, and that will help cut down on development times when it comes to producing all four of the titles they're working on. So honestly, their only work involves the storyline, and if Gearbox can pull their head out of their ass and write a story that matches/exceeds the depth of their main Borderlands 2 setting, it can be a supremely quality product.

Unfortunately...this is Gearbox we're talking about. A company renowned for literally milking everything for what it's worth of late. From Randy Pitchford milking the news reports of developers unnecessarily getting abused (and thus using it to make himself look like the victim when criticism flies at him over "Blands") to Aliens: Colonial Marines being a total milking of a franchise (and forever 'alienating' any interest in Aliens games in future - especially when the original Aliens Trilogy rated BETTER than that piece of shit). And honestly? Even now they're milking Borderlands 2 with all this DLC they're, at this point, churning out. IT'S NOT A GODDAMN MMO, DIPSHITS! And I've heard such bad shit before and after Tiny Tina's DLC (which, honestly, is the only good DLC that I've played) that I've pretty much, at this point, sworn off ever returning to that game or the first one. 100% achievements can go suck my cock for those games now. So I'm understandably (in my mind) judgemental when it comes to the Gearbox label being plastered onto any game, as the only thing I can see from it is just grasping at straws for more money from people expecting more.

So would I get it? Certainly not on release. But if it actually turns out to be decent, I'll consider it.

So does this confirm Jack is alive or he had a backup plan if he died at the hand of the Vault Hunters? Or does the game develops during BL2? It looks interesting and Telltale knows good storytelling.

I can't really see the DLCs for BL2 as milking, the campaign DLCs really added a lot of game time to the game and it demonstrated support for the game. Still, there are some that really feel like mliking, Headhunter missions? Yes, they add an enjoyable mission for less than 3 bucks, but why not combine the three and call it Pandora's Holiday Killing and make it a full on campaign?

It's a prequel as far as I know.

I REALLLLYYY want a story based on him. He is such a deep character that needs his own standalone game.
