I feel like telltale is working on too much with 4 games in development

This is what killed Aliens:CM, projects get passed off or not enough developers and games get screwed. I mention this because TellTale has that game with Gearbox, and Gearbox was working on both Aliens and Borderlands 2...possible omen? Well hopefully this game doesn't get cursed by the TV/Movie to game crossover problem.

I feel like this is gonna suck, not sure why but I feel this game may be terrible.

If it is anything like their Walking Dead "game" than it will suck and be more of an interactive story book.

That makes at least four games they are working on, hope they can keep up the quality.

True I don't see how boderlands 2 can be a telltale game tbh I just can't see it

I think if they do a story in a completely different area of the world then the books or the show (Like their walking dead game) It will be amazing.

I disagree. As someone who grew up playing point-and-click adventures games like Monkey Island, I'm rather enjoying the genres revival. I thought The Walking Dead was amazing. The atmosphere, character developement, and story telling were all superb in my opinion. But for me, good story is what I'm really looking for in a game. I don't care how great your mechanics and gameplay are if your characters are boreing and the story sucks. Tell Tale is really good at their name sake. Telling tales. Really looking forward to what they can do with this.

Implying it's not a game is a bit of a cheap shot, don't you think? It doesn't really matter how you'd define it, just whether or not you enjoy it.

Personally, I think minimal gameplay and a focus on story is a good combo, and Telltale nailed it with The Walking Dead. Way better than ANY of Quantic Dream's games, definitely.

Its feelings like this (which trust me I can sympathize with (I'm having a difficult time picturing the action)  that I think Telltale is banking on. Everyone is either jumping on the hype train or holding back out of caution and if they manage to stay consistent with their ability and storytelling the sheer popularity of this game trend will explode with both the industry and the fans.

Telltale is taking on the massive task of doing GoT justice and they've already got my support on it. Their style focuses around story, decisions and twists which is 85% of the books themselves. It is the game that the franchise has always deserved but never received. The biggest factor here is when the story takes place.

Call me a fanboy (I'm not) but I'm unbelievably excited.

I'm looking forward to it, the series will fit in really well with the Telltale genre they have created.

I'm really excited for this. The only reason I watched the God-awful VGX was because of the rumors that Telltale would reveal a new game there. Fortunately, they were true. I was actually hoping they had made some progress on the development front, but judging from the teaser and the interview, they still have no idea where they're going with it.

Well, a lot of people think The Walking Dead is one of last year's best games, so I'd say you're part of the minority. Anyway, I don't see a Game of Thrones game working as an RPG or a strategy game. Both approaches have been attempted, and both failed miserably. Game of Thrones is more than battles or hacking-and-slashing your way through enemies. At its heart, it's about the characters, their interactions, and the world.

IGN reports this season of Game of Thrones will mark the beginning of a longer partnership with HBO, and we'll get at least two seasons, similar to The Walking Dead game.

A good game of thrones entry is sorely needed, and telltale has been known recently for providing some new experiences, but as mentioned earlier, too many projects simultaneously in development will undeniably cause issues of quality.

I would like to see a lot of charackters we already know from the books but at the same time i would like to see the game killing off some meaningful charackters and at the same time i want the game to stay true to the books. Such a game will be very unlikekly so thats why im not really interested in it because it will not have any big impact to the Song of ice and fire world, most likely none at all. Also walking dead was just a zombie apocalypse world and they put their focus on relationships, but song of ice and fire has a whole world tought out with its own rules and history which telltale has to follow and will surely make the making of the game much harder for them.

One problem that i had with the walking dead game is that story is tailored depending how i play, atleast the game tells me that but for me its a big joke because the story itself is still linear, only thing i could pretty much choos is like is the person A or person B going to like/hate me because of my decision. Lets say when in episode 2 the guy got a stroke then it dosnt matter what i choose kenny kills him anyway and later its not like will we be abandoning kenny or the guys daughter but we end up with kenny anyway. And now when telltale has 4 games being developed i cant see this thing being changed and having some real story changing choices.

I am predicting now that this game will suck big time. What are they gonna do about the sexual content. Banging your sister and getting her pregnant is gonna be a doozy of a mission lol.

I don't care if that will suck, since I'm not much into GoT. As long as The Wolf Among Us will keep the same quality as the first episode, I'm going to be happy. I still believe this will be a huge mistake for TT. I've been one of the biggest Telltale fan, since the Sam & Max games, so it's kinda shame that they don't seem to have any plans to develop another S&M game for a while. The third season was great, even though it didn't have Bosco. Depending on how good GoT game will be, I will probably buy it, but I'm not planning to buy Borderlands game EVER. BL2 was horrible unfunny piece of ''entertainment'' filled with memes and unfunny humor. Even though the developer is going to be TT, I don't want to support Memeland or Gearbox at all.

I beg to differ.

Still a great developer. I loved The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. Just saying, though.
