Philip Seymour Hoffman died at age 46. May he rest peacefully.

Another great entertainer died this year. This time it's Philip Seymour Hoffman, known for his role in the recent Hunger Games Catching Fire, Red Dragon, Doubt with Meryl Streep and Capone. Cause of death most likely drug overdose. May he find peace.

I was waiting for someone to create this thread as i personally didnt find it relevant to this forum. Now than someone else has done so, i can reply to it. :)

I dont know what it is about fame that so many celebrities turn to drugs, but it is so commonplace and has been for quite a while. It is almost like they discover ''oh im famous, now i can afford all the illicit drugs i could ever want''. It is just so stupid.

.

Of course, that does not detract from the actor himself as an amazing actor or the fact that he will be sorely missed. RIP.
