I think Yu-Gi-Oh is alright, if you have other people who you can play with who know the rules.

We're doing little girl Alucard sigs now, eh Fluffy?

Anyways, I did Pokemon, Yugioh, Dual Masters, and Magic/k. Original Yugioh was the best, Pokemon was better as a video game, Dual Masters is a water downed yugioh, and Magic/k is okay. I just wish I could dump money into cards like I used to... which is probably why Magic/k is just okay.

I feel you. I mean I don't, which is both creepy and physically impossible because I'm in 'murica land and you're in Nipon. I understand what you mean though.

For me, I always have to put a punch line or a caption for my sigs. I've skipped out on so many cool pictures because I couldn't think of something funny for it.

Also, I used to collect base ball cards. Got bored of that real fast.... I saw 1D trading cards the other day while I stared at the abomination that is the new generation of Yugioh cards. I wanted to burn them, and then throw money at the manager in a furious manner so I could vent my frustration that there's an actual thing of 1D cards, whilst pay for the damages I caused. However, that would only hurt me, because that would show that a bunch of (or one creepy)  girls (boys???) bought a shit ton of 1D cards. And I'm sure the manager wouldn't enjoy paper and coins thrown at him/her... So there's that.

Yay!

Yu-Gi-Oh. Definetely Yu-Gi-Oh. The amount of cards and knowledge from Yu-Gi-Oh I have is, well... quite sad really...

Magic the Gathering is currently my favorite, got tired of Yu-Gi-Oh.

Just like everyone have already pointed out. Yu-Gi-Oh all the way. I haven't really been up to live TCGs, but on online I've played Heartsone and Scrolls quite a lot. Scrolls has nice tactical element, but it still feels very one sided and somewhat unbalanced.

Just finished a Magic game with one of my buddies :P Two headed giant-games are always fun if you have a friend. So yeah, Magic is my fav.

There's a new Steam game I got into that seems pretty cool...I forget the name. I never did get into physical card games but jeebus knows I still would if I get the time.

But game wise I played a number of Yu-Gi-Ohs which were different. Culdcept Saga was a fun Monopoly-esque style on Xbox 360. Hearthstone is definitely a good one.

I'd hate to see how you would react to Pendulum Monsters and Summoning then

When I was a kid I played Yu-Gi-Oh! It was awesome having a neighbourhood that all played.

I enjoyed the Star Wars and Lord of the Ring TCGs from Decipher.

The newer games are now mostly (thank god) becoming living card games where you just buy expansions that have certain cards in them. I really like Warhammer Invasion and Lord of the Rings from Fantasy Flight. Haven't tried their Game of Thrones, Call of Cthulhu, or Star Wars (though I do own the base set) ones yet.

I've played some Might and Magic Duel of Champions on Steam, it's alright. I like it more than Magic or games where you need to draw energy/land cards.

Culdcept Saga was a fun Monopoly-esque style on Xbox 360.

I did enjoy that game, also a version on the PS2, and I think one on the DS that was never released outside of Japan. Phantom Dust for the Xbox was great and somewhat card/deck related.
