GWAR frontman Oderus Urungus (RN: Dave Brockie) has died

Dave Brockie (a.k.a. Oderus Urungus), founder and lead singer of GWAR, was found dead in his Richmond, Virginia apartment. Richmond police stated that while they do not suspect foul play,  He was 50-years-old.

 

GWAR had only recently returned home from a brief tour of Australia and Japan earlier this month.

I have no idea who GWAR are other than it sounds like an angry bear with a speech impediment trying to roar.

I saw them in Viva La Bam and Attack of the Show. Never listened to their music, but RIP Oderus.
