Yu-Gi-Oh! is there anyone who plays it?

12 posts in this topic

I still play Yu-Gi-Oh! at a high level, but I had a thought and wanted to ask if there was anyone who still plays Yu-Gi-Oh! I would love to get to know a fellow soldier to join me in duels :D

No... You are THE ONE!

Edit: Actually, there is a thread about YuGiOh, so ask them.

I play MTG. Used to play yugioh but, stopped when they brought along legendary dragons of something. I think it was the second or possibly third season of the show. I had the golden one but, sold it to my hardcore yugioh friend for 10 pesos which at the time was like 1 dollar.

I used to play alot of Yu Gi Oh and still want to get back into it. I loved the series and GX but 5D's is where they lost me.

The show is different from the game, now if you say the new monsters is what makes you lose interest is like saying you don't like your vehicles going from 2013 to 2014. xD

When I was younger we used to play in my old neighbourhood, but when I moved away my cards basically stayed inside the jewelery box I had kept them in.

Yeah? I dont see it that way but, barely matters.

I can only assume that post is meant for me as I specifically mention some monsters. However, I mentioned the monsters as a point in the series when I dropped yugioh. I assure you, the dragons alone werent the sole reason stopped playing. I just simply lost interest in the cards, the show and moved on. It was alright while it lasted though, between my friends it was a good passtime.

Ok what i didnt like was we went from on foot to motorcycles for no apparent reason other than just cuz. The original series was good and GX was great too but i think it should of ended with GX.

Funny thing is after 5D's ended they made ZEXAL which is pretty much the GX but futurist like 5D's was and for in Japan right now there is another series called Arch-V. No idea what the theme is about but it introduces Pendulum Summons. Crazy stuff right there.

I used to play but I got board of it. Everyone always plays the same decks there was no variety. Every time something new came out everyone copied it and ruined it for me. I play Cardfight Vanguard now . Unlike the anime of Yu-Gi-Oh, Cardfight Vanguard actualy shows you the rules and every stragety in the anime you can do in real life.

I used to play but then I had a friend that introduced me into MTG and kinda showed me the ropes and I liked it a lot better. It just more fit my playing style than Yu-Gi-Oh but I do see some kids on campus still playing from time to time
