Problems Connecting AJSA account to Teamspeak

10 posts in this topic

Hey,

I know that quite the similar topic already exists but I still have a bit of a temporary problem. That said my error message is silghtly different. It actually say 'connection failed, you are banned' (see 'Error Message.png') which is quite odd seeing as I joined about half an hour ago.

Now the error message also says to wait for a certain time (in this case 261 seconds), after that the link sort of works. But unlike in the tutorial the screen does not say that Teamspeak identity and AJAS account have been linked successfully (see 'Integrated Identities.png' for full text). The Link Privilege Key works however after a bit of an extra delay.

So although it is now possible to join the AJSA account with the Teamspeak server it takes unnecessarily long and is overall a bit inefficient. If possible it should probably receive a bit extra attention to make the whole process a bit more easy and also more reassuring to those who are not very tech-savvy.

Yours sincerely

Conan

We are currently working on this process and will announce when we think the issues have been resolved. Thank you for the heads up.

Yeah, I'm sure Angry Joe and his crew will get around to fixing this soon. They never expected this kind of traffic so quickly.

As for the "You are banned." screen, just wait the amount of seconds it tells you to and try again. You should get to the page eventually and get to the privilege key screen to link your account. From there, you can just copy the privilege key and paste into the "Use Privilege Key" option under the Permissions tab in the Teamspeak client (being connected to the server, of course).

Wasn't sure if the OP knew this all already or not, but for those that needed some guidance in that end, here you go. :D

I put in my privilege key, and it tells me: <18:49:40> insufficient client permissions (failed on i_client_max_channel_subscriptions)

Um...help?

Maybe your key expired? Try getting another key. You can get another key every thirty seconds.

Everything to do with entering keys is blanked out in Teamspeak when I connect to the server. I keep getting that fatal error when I try to get a key again.

Okay, quick edit: I managed to clear my problem and get reset to "Guest" by deleting my Teamspeak profile and remaking it. Still need to get linked, however.

Well, if you aren't having the Use Privilege Key issue, you can just try to get a new privilege key (or try using the old one) and you should be set.

I generated a new key, put it into Teamspeak, following the instructions. Waited for 10 minutes to see if it would assign me permissions, it didn't. Re-logged, back to being stuck in "Linking". :/

I used my teamspeak permissions key and got my founder icon instantly (no info about recruit/member/veteran icon)

The issue of both linking, and being assigned icons has been resolved. I'm going to close this topic so any further questions/problems are put into new topics instead of added here. Thanks for everyone's patience.
