What could Sony do in order to make communication better on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3

For some odd reason it seems like there is a huge lack of communication on pretty much any game that you play online with Playstation, While xbox is much better with that or maybe that's just me.

Do you mean voice chat or something else?

If your talking about why people don't use their mics then it depends on the system. PS3 you had to buy your own mic so a lot of people just didn't go out of their way to get one. I have a mic on the PS3 but I barely use if I'm in a game with strangers, I use it with people I know. PS4 I have no clue. I guess because the same people who came from the PS3 got used to not using a mic to play online.

What Akira said. The mic that came with my PS4 wasn't very good, so I grabbed a better headset, but I imagine that's one of the reasons few talk. That, and there are a lot of people in my experience that just don't like to talk with strangers. I'm one of them. I've had quite a few bad experiences with overly obnoxious people and it really turns me off, so I just tend to stay out of it unless playing with friends.

If this is a voice communication, I agree with both LordKedric and Akira the mic that comes with is pretty trash. I been using the Apple earbuds that came with my Iphone and they seem to work very well. I can hear people and they can hear me.

If this is a message communication, I don't agree I am creator of the PS4 Message Rooms were many of us AJSA soldiers go and talk to one another. Like a AJSA chatroom built into the PS4. I think the way the message system itself is improved from the PS3 days.

The headphones that comes whit the PS4 is complete rubbish i could't even get it to work. Thankfully i have a utterly expensive Razer Kraken gaming headset that comes whit a mic and a detachable wire that i could plug it in my PS4 controller and have great in-game sounds and able to communicate whit teammates whit the mic.

I'm still hanging on for hope that one day Sony will create a "Party chat" feature for PS3... (Vita and PS4 have it)

But I guess that will never happened because of RAM limitations, or at least thats what I read about in the interwebs.
