8 posts in this topic

Sometimes strange, sometimes stranger, and often indecipherable, The Ultimate Warrior (RN: Jim Hellwig) has passed on at the age of 54.  Hellwig collapsed outside an Arizona hotel at 5:50 p.m. on the 8th and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The Warrior appeared on Monday Night Raw on the 7th following his induction into WWE's Hall of Fame.

The WARRIOR'S body may crumble, but the spirit of the WARRIOR can not be destroyed! When the stars of Terrain of Testament align, the WARRIOR gets foked. The WARRIOR'S spirit is one with DESTRUCITY. The rocket fuel is all over the moon and the WARRIOR will SURVIVEEEEE!!!!!! SKRONK!!!!!!

Now that was unexpected.

I literally just watch a guy on TV then a few days later hear he died.

Just for the record though, he legally changed his name to Warrior in 1993 so he was no longer known as Hellwig.

That would make the tombstone pretty sweet.

As a HUGE wrestling fan this upsets me. being born in 97 i never saw the warrior in action. but thanks to youtube i can see the energy and intesity he brought in the ring. Its kinda creepy how he went out to, his promo on monday was very criptic and it almost sounded like he knew he was going to die soon. My thoughts go out to his family at their loss
