In-house every SATURDAY 8:30 GMT+0

23 posts in this topic

  • This in-house will have a lobby or lobbies open for guild members to get together and play DOTA 2.

You will need team speak for this event. If you don't have team speak I or someone else will help you.

To get in the event is simple all you have to do is join the DOTA 2 lobby in team speak. From there you will be directed by your DOTA 2 officers or volunteers on were to go. From there you will placed in a lobby and a chat channel. The more demand for in-house games all the more lobbies and channels that will used.

If you have horrible connection you are allowed to watch or broadcast in the lobby.

I let riverside make this topic last week's inhouses were such a success that i want more inhouses hopefully depending on availability we can have multiple lobbys up and of course if there is a large amount of people wanting to play and 1 lobby is full you are welcome to create a lobby etc.

I told you more people will come then expected, we were crowded.
To anyone that likes to join the event and still have problems or don't know anything about Team Speak, just ask.
I hope we can set up people in advance, maybe mention the TeamSpeak requirement in the Event of the Steam Group/ Dota2 Guild as well. I know that it's on the front page but there are still people that need to be reminded everywhere about everything.

Should make rules for when we do gimmick in house teams so we don't get conflict like last time.

Just do all random or something, screw all pick and mostly captains mode. Because... it's just bad. Captain's draft is good, random draft is also good.

Yep, captain's draft is the way to go. Well from what I have seen. We like to change it up once in a while.

I don't want to add this into the page but please join ts even if ur not in the event. It makes finding people to play with a lot more easier. Even if you cant talk you can still hear us and plus I feel better when i see all the guild on team speak talking to each other having fun.

I posted this in another thread, but I find it's more appropriate to put it here so here goes.

In-House games you set up are meant for fun and a way to socialize. Winning, while fun, isn't the real aim of the In-Houses. They're here for people to meet other AJSA members in a less serious atmosphere than pubs.

I do encourage people to take part, hop on Teamspeak (even if you don't have a mic, you can still listen in) and meet some new people.

Also please please please read the Code of Conduct and always remember it in those heated moments:
